Unplug themotor unit. Removethe attached doughhooks orbeaters. If the motor is warm, allow it to cool fully. Wipe the outer surface of the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring creams. Never immerse the motor unitin water. If food particles have adhered tothe beater sockets or the ventilation slots in the motor unit, brush them out with a barely damp(not wet)brush. Wipe anyexcess foodparticles from thepower cord. Wash the beaters and dough hooks in warm soapy water and wipedry. After cleaning, wrapthe cable around the motor unit, and stow ittogether with the attachments outof direct sunlight and outof thereach of children.
Mix doughwith thedough hooks. Combine liquids, fold in dry ingredients, egg
whites andwhipped cream.
Prepare sauces,puddings, muffinsand quick breads. Prepare battersand mixes
: Cream butter and sugar, make cookie dough,cake
mixes andfrostings.
Towhip light andfluffy mixtures, whipcream, beat eggs,
makemeringues.
Ingredients shouldbe atroom temperature beforemixing. Assemble allingredients andutensils near themixer. Break eggs into a separate container, then add to the mixture.
When mixing egg whites even the smallest amount of oil on beatersor bowlmay cause theegg whitesnot to aerate. When kneadingyeast dough,we suggest thespeed selector is inposition 1or 2 toachieve bestresults. Always start mixing at slow speeds. Gradually increase to the recommendedspeed asstated in therecipe. Only mix/blend mixtures as recommended in your recipe. At any stage of mixing,over beating can cause toughness, close texture,lack ofrising or excessiveshrinkage. When mixingdry ingredientsuse the lowestspeed. During mixing, if you need to scrape the bowl, or add ingredients, turnthe mixeroff first. When mixing, lightly scraping the beaters after the addition of each ingredient assists in achieving efficient mixing. Switch the mixer off and then scrape the beaters with a flexible rubber or plastic spatula. NEVER USE ANY METALIMPLEMENT. When mixing iscomplete, turn the speed selector OFF and unplug thecord frompower outlet.

Switch the selector toOFF, liftthe mixer out of the mixture and switchoff atthe mains beforeunplugging themixer. Excess mixture may be scraped from the beaters with a flexible plastic or rubber spatula. Do not use metal spatulas forthis purpose. Remove the beaters. Holding the mixer by the handle, press therelease knob. down.Hold each attachmentby the spindle andremove them,one at atime.

Read all the instructionscarefully before using your mixer and keepthem forfuture reference. Unplug the mixer from the mains supply when notin use, when removing or attaching beaters or doughhooks, and before cleaningany partof the appliance. This applianceis foroccasional household useonly. Do notuse themixer outdoors orin dampconditions. Do notimmerse themotor unit orthe electrical cordor plug in liquids. Do not use the mixer near a source of heat or on an unstable surface. Never letchildren operatethis appliance. This applianceis notintended for useby persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they havebeen given supervision orinstruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play withthe appliance
Ensure that the power cord does not touch any hot surface andthat it doesnot overhangthe edge ofyour worksurface. When unpluggingthe powercord, hold theplug top. Do not operate the mixer with a damaged cordor plug or after the applianceor any attachment has been damaged. Seek expertassistance. Do not use attachments or accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They may cause malfunction orinjury. Store the mixer and the attachments away from direct sunlight andout ofthe reach ofchildren.
Do notuse themixer with bentor deformedattachments.
Avoid contacting movingparts. Keep hands, hair,clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from beaters during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons, and/or damageto themixer. Make sure that you use a bowl large enough to accommodate all the ingredients and that the bowl is sturdy enoughto standstill during themixing process. Switch the motor unit off when filling or emptying the mixing bowl,attaching orremoving beaters.
Removebeaters from themixer beforewashing. Do notmix orblend mixtures containingfruit stones,etc. There are no user serviceable parts in your processor. Unauthorised dismantling or servicing will void the product warranty. Do not use the processor for any purpose not expressly specified inthis manual.

You can mix a wide range of ingredients depending on the attachments used.Twosets ofbeaters are provided:
These are used for the majority of everyday mixing tasks. Use beaters for easy mix dough, whipping egg white and cream, and mixing batters, mayonnaise and purees. Theyare also suitable for mixing andstirring sauces, puddingmixes, etc.
Use these for the preparation of heavy yeast dough and short pastries. Use them for creaming mashed potatoes, and with mixes for dumplings, potato pancakesand for anyingredients thatrequire kneading.

OPERATION
Always makesure the mixer is unpluggedfrom the mains when cleaning,attaching or removingaccessories
Wash the beaters in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. Wipe the motor unit all over with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water followed with a clean damp cloth. Dry well. Do not immerse themotor unit,mains cable orplug inwater.
The attachments must be used in matched pairs. Push the attachments oneat a time intothe sockets inthe mixer base and rotate slightlyto securethem.
Beaters can be
inserted intoeither socket.
These will only fit one way round. Insert the hook with the washer in the large socket and the plain hook in the ridged socketas shown.
Have all your ingredients prepared and ready to hand before starting. Use a stout roomy bowl for your ingredients anddo notoverfill the bowl. Place thestarter ingredientsin the bowl. Before use,make surethe attachmentsare firmly inserted.
The mixing speedwill be boosted when the TURBObutton is depressed. Releasing the button will revertthe mixer to the selectedspeed. Use thisfacility only inshort bursts soas not tooverload themotor. If youhave toadd ingredients whenmixing always turnthe selector toOFF.Never permitthe mixerto run ‘handsoff ’. Do not operate the mixer continuously for more than 5 minutes. After 5 minutes of continuous use, allow 10 minutes forthe motorto cool beforeusing themixer again.

Set thespeed selectoron the mixerto OFF. Plug themotor unitinto the mainsand switchon the power. Set thedesired selector speed andstart mixing. Commence with a low speed and gradually rotate the selector to the right toincrease thespeed as needed.
When operating the appliance make sure that there is slack in the powercord. Never operatethe appliance in alocation where the power cord can get snagged onkitchen units, or appliances or utensils. The power cord should lie outside your operating hand.
