Adjusting Slice Thickness

When the control is rotated the Slice Feed Plate moves in and out. For safety, always rotate the control anticlockwise to move the Slice Feed plate in front of the Knife blade so that it is covered when the unit is not in use.
If the motor slows or the blade gets hot, switch off, and allow the unit to cool fully before recommencing slicing. Do not run the machine continuously for more than 6 min. Allow the unit to cool before recommencing slicing.
CARE AND CLEANING
After Use:
$Release the ON/OFF switch. $Unplug the appliance and allow the machine to stop
rotating.
$Remove the sliced meat from the tray. $Move the sliding plate back so any unsliced meat is well
clear of the slicing knife. Lift off any unsliced meat from the machine.

After Cleaning:

4: Attach the Sliding Table
1: Ensure the Slicing Knife edge is safely behind the Slice adjustment table . (See Figure 6).
2: Line the tab under the Sliding table with the slot in the Base Plate.
Insert the table into the slot and press gently. Slide the table back and forth and check it moves freely but securely over the base plate. (See View B on Page 2).

3: Removing and Replacing the Slicing Knife
Ensure the sliding table is removed. A: Rotate the Clamp Clockwise
to unlock the Slicing Knife and Anticlockwise to lock it.
B: Hold the knife blade by the clamp when removing and attaching it.
To attach the Slicing Knife, hold it as shown, place it into the recess in the motor and rotate anticlockwise.

1: Ensure the machine is disconnected from the mains.
Invert the unit. Place the unit on a solid level surface and hold it securely. Detach the Collecting Tray.

5: Attach the Slice Feed Plate
Place the Slice Feed Plate over the Sliding Table Guard as shown. Slide it back and forth and ensure it moves freely.
