Automatic clock setting:
The clock on your radio is automatically set from the time
signal broadcast with DAB radio stations.
Manual clock setting:
If DAB reception is not available in your area, you can set
the time manually via the menu as follows -
Press and • hold the Info/Menu button.
<Full scan> is displayed.
Press the • Channel+ button repeatedly, until
<System> is displayed.
Press the • Select button.
<Time> is displayed.
Press the • Select button.
<Set Time/Date> is displayed.
Press the • Select button.
Set time will be displayed, the hour digits will ash.
Press the • Channel-/Channel+ buttons to set the hour
correctly.
Press the • Select button.
Repeat the last two steps to set the minutes, then the •
date.
NOTE: Manual time and date settings will be automatically
updated if the radio receives a DAB broadcast.
NOTE: If the radio is disconnected or there is a power loss,
time and date settings will be lost until next time a DAB
radio is tuned or the clock is manually set.

Switching the radio on:
Press the • Power button to switch on the radio.
The radio will re-tune to the last station playing.
Setting the radio to Standby:
Press the • Power button to switch o the radio.
The time and date will be displayed.
INITIAL SCAN
When your radio is switched on for the rst time it will
scan all usable stations and store them alphanumerically 1 Radio, 2 Radio, AA Radio, AB Radio... The initial scan will
take a few minutes. After the scan, the number of stations
found will be displayed, and the radio will play the rst
station in the sequence.
Note: If no stations are found, switch the radio o and
move it to a location with a stronger signal. When you
switch the radio back on it will automatically repeat the
scan process.
SETTING THE CLOCKFITTING BATTERIES
You can t a set of batteries for fully portable operation.
Referring to the •
diagram, press the catch
and lift o the battery
compartment lid.
Fit 4 x AA batteries •
into the battery
c o m p a r t m e n t ,
observing polarity
as shown. Alkaline
batteries are
recommended for best
performance.
Fit the batteries over the ribbon to make battery •
removal easier.
Re-t the battery cover.•
BATTERY DISPOSAL
Dispose of used batteries with regard to the recycling
regulations in your area. Do NOT short circuit batteries or
throw them into water, the general rubbish or in a re.
Weak batteries can leak and damage the radio. Replace
them in good time!
