Bitte kontrollieren Sie zunächst den Lieferumfang:

1. Windows XP erkennt beim ersten Start eine neue Hardware (z.B. einen „Multimedia­controller“) und begrüßt Sie mit dem Installationsassistent. Sollten Sie ServiePack 2
installiert haben werden Sie gefragt, ob eine Verbindung mit Windows Update hergestellt
werden soll. Wählen Sie „Nein, diesmal nicht“ und dann „Weiter.“

2. Wählen Sie „Software automatisch installieren (empfohlen)“ aus und fahren Sie mit
„Weiter“ fort. Windows XP findet auf der TerraTec Installations-CD automatisch den
passenden Treiber.

3. Im folgenden Dialog meldet Windows XP, dass der TerraTec Treiber den „Windows-Logo­Test“ nicht bestanden hat. Klicken Sie auf „Installation fortsetzten.“
Hinweis: Eine digitale Signatur sagt nichts über die Qualität der Treiber aus, sondern
bestätigt nur, das der Treiber von Microsoft verifiziert wurde.

Schließen Sie die Installation mit „Fertigstellen“ ab. Nun nur noch die TV Software
installieren. Öffnen Sie den Autostart der CD-ROM und folgen Sie den Anweisungen.

Schalten Sie den PC aus und bauen Sie die Steckkarte in
einen freien Slot im PC ein. Beachten Sie hierbei
entsprechende Vorsichtsmaßnahmen, die Sie bitte dem
Handbuch entnehmen.

Schalten Sie den PC wieder ein. Wenn noch nicht
geschehen, legen Sie ihre Installations-CD in Ihr CD-ROM
Laufwerk ein.

Please verify that you have received these items:

Once you have booted your computer, Windows will display a message bubble in the
taskbar to indicate that Windows has found new hardware the Cinergy C PCI. The Windows
setup wizard will now appear. Next, select "No, not this time" and then "Install the software
automatically [Recommended]" and "Next".

A Windows dialog soon appears, telling you that the drivers have not passed Windows Logo
testing. It is safe to ignore this information and continue the installation by clicking "Continue
anyway". Click "Finish" to complete the installation once the driver files have been copied.
Now switch back to the CD, select your language and continue the installation of the TV­software. Simply follow the instructions provided by the installation wizard.

+ Driver CD incl. manual, service request form,
registration documents

Turn off your computer and plug the TV card into a
unused PCI slot. Please consider the accordant
precautions you find in the manual.

Boot your computer and wait until Windows XP SP2 has
loaded completely. Insert the installation CD into your
CD/DVD drive.
