CARACTERISTIQUES

Utilise la méthode BIA, analyse par impédance
bioélectrique. La balance fait passer une quantité
anodine d’électricité dans le corps, puis mesure le
volume total d’eau, et , par conséquent, la quantité de
muscles ou de tissus maigres de l’individu. La différence
entre le poids corporel et la quantité de tissus maigres
exprime le volume de graisse corporelle.

PRECAUTIONS D’EMPLOI

1. Posez la balance sur une surface plane et dure.

2. Nettoyez votre balance avec un chiffon humide sans

faire pénétrer d’eau dans l’appareil. Evitez solvants et
abrasifs.

3. Retirez la pile en cas de non utilisation prolongée.

4. Ne démontez pas l’appareil excepté pour remplacer la pile.

5. Evitez à l’appareil tout choc ou vibration excessive; ne

le laissez pas tomber sur le sol.

6. Le produit est réservé à un usage domestique ; il ne

convient pas à un usage professionnel, en hôpital ou
en milieu médical.

Ce produit ne convient pas aux personnes ayant des
implants corporels tels que pacemaker, membres
artificiels, appareil de contraception, plaque, broche ou
vis en métal ni aux femmes enceintes.

FONCTIONNEMENT

Cette balance doit être initialisée lors de sa première
utilisation ou en cas de changement de pile. Appuyez
légèrement sur le plateau de la balance.

9. Montez pieds nus sur la balance. Restez immobile
pendant la pesée. Le poids apparaît pendant 2
secondes.

10. Puis la balance commence à évaluer votre taux de

graisse corporelle. L’écran affiche des zéros qui cli­gnotent rapidement.

11. Cette phase se termine par un signal sonore. Le pour-

centage de graisse, le poids, l’âge et le sexe appa­raissent pendant 4 secondes. La balance s’éteint
automatiquement.

Pour utiliser votre mémoire :

1. Pressez la touche [ON/OFF ]pour accéder au mode

impédancemètre.

2. Pressez la touche “MEMORY” [MEM. ]pour sélectionner

le mode mémoire et obtenir l’affichage des paramètres.

3. Pressez les touches [ ▲ / ▼ ]pour sélectionner la

mémoire qui vous correspond. Si la mémoire choisie
est vide, aucune donnée n’apparaît ; si elle est pleine,
les informations qu’elle contient apparaissent.

4. Pressez la touche “ENTER”

pour valider votre

choix de mémoire. La balance émet un signal sonore.

5. Suivez ensuite les instructions 9 à 11 précédemment

expliquées.

2) Mode Pesée

1. Montez sur le plateau.

2. Restez immobile pendant la pesée.

SPECIFICATIONS

•

Uses the BIA method for an analysis by bioelectrical
impedance. The scale sends a harmless amount of
electricity into the body, then measures the total volume
of water, and consequently, the amount of individual’s
muscle or lean tissue. The difference between the body
weight and the amount of lean tissue corresponds to the
amount of body fat.

• Weight capacity: 140kg or 320lb or 20 St (TFA20), 150kg
or 330lb or 24St (TFA15 - TFA25)

• Weight increments: 100g or 0,2lb or 1/4Lb

• Body fat range: 4 to 50%

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

1. Position the scale on a flat, hard surface.

2. Clean your scale with a damp cloth but do not allow

the water to enter into the scale. Avoid using solvents
or abrasive products.

3. Remove the battery in the event of prolonged

non-utilisation.

4. Do not dismantle the scale except to replace the battery.

5. Avoid exposing the scale to shocks or excessive

vibrations; be careful not to drop it on the floor.

6. This product is intended for household use;

it is not suited to professional use, in a hospital
or medical environment.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

This scale must be initialised the first time it is used and
every time the battery is replaced. Press lightly on the
platform of the scale.

imperial or vice versa (l.e. KG/CM-ST/IN-LB/IN), simply
adjust the conversion switch located on the under-side of
the scales.

1. Press the[ON/OFF ]button to access the impedance
measurement mode and the unit will display the size.
To change the measuring unit (lb/in to kg/cm or the opposite),
activate switch per instruction on underside of scale.

2. Press the [ ▲ / ▼ ]buttons to enter your size
(from 100 to 199 cm).

3. Press the“ENTER”

move to age.

4. Press the [ ▲ / ▼ ]buttons to enter your age
( from 10 to 80 years).

9. Step onto the scale in your bare feet. Do not move
during weighing. Your weight will be displayed for 3
seconds.

10. Then the scale will begin calculating your rate of body
fat. The screen will display rapidly blinking zeros.

11. This phase ends with a beep. The percentage of fat,
the weight, the age and the sex appear for 4 seconds.
The scale switches off automatically.

To use your memory:

1. Press the [ON/OFF ]button to access the impedance

measurement mode.

2. Press the “MEMORY” [MEM. ] button to select the

memory mode and obtain a data display.

3. Press the [ ▲ / ▼ ] buttons to select the memory where

your data is stored. If the selected memory is empty,
no data will appear; if it is full, the information it
contains will be displayed.

4. Press the “ENTER”

memory. The scale will emit a beep.

5. Then follow instructions contained in steps 9 - 11 above.

2) Weighing Mode

1. Step onto the platform.

2. Do not move during weighing.

3. Your weight will be displayed on the screen as follows:

Batt Battery failure: replace it.

OTHER REMARKS

1. The rate of body fat recommended by health care
professionals is :

Men: between 10% and 18%

Women: between 20% and 29%

2. Consult your doctor if your rate of body fat is below
or above normal.

3. Your percentage of body fat may vary from one day
to the next or depending on the time of day.

4. It is recommended to weight oneself regularly and
always under the same conditions.

WARRANTY

This impedance scale is guaranteed for 2 years against
defects in materials or manufacturing. During this period,
any such defects will be repaired free of charge (proof of
purchase must be shown in the case of a complaint under
warranty).
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from impro­per use or negligence. In the event of a claim, first contact
the shop where you purchased your scale.

HINWEISE ZUR BEDIENUNG

1. Stellen Sie die Waage auf eine ebene feste Fläche.

Die Waage muß bei Erstverwendung und nach jedem
Batteriewechsel neu gestartet werden. Üben Sie leichten
Druck auf die Wägefläche aus.

9. Steigen Sie barfuß auf die Waage. Bewegen Sie sich
während des Wiegens nicht. Nach zwei Sekunden
erscheint Ihr Gewicht.

10. Anschließend beginnt die Analyse Ihres

Körperfettgehaltes. Auf dem Display erscheinen
schnell blinkende Nullen.

11. Am Ende der Analyse ertönt ein Signal. Der

Prozentsatz an Fett, das Gewicht, das Alter und das
Geschlecht werden 4 Sekunden lang angezeigt. Die
Waage schaltet sich dann automatisch ab.

Verwendung des Speichers:

1. Drücken Sie die Taste [ON/OFF ], um die Analyse des
bioelektrischen Widerstandes. aufzurufen.

2. Drücken Sie die Taste “MEMORY” [MEM. ], um den
Speicher aufzurufen und die Angaben anzeigen zu
lassen.

3. Drücken Sie die Tasten [ ▲ / ▼ ], um den gewünschten
Speicherplatz aufzurufen. Wenn der gewählte
Speicherplatz leer ist, erscheint keine Angabe, wenn er
belegt ist, erscheinen die gespeicherten Angaben.

4. Drücken Sie die Taste “ENTER”

, um die Wahl
des Speicherplatzes zu bestätigen. Die Waage gibt ein
Tonsignal ab.

5. Führen Sie nun die Anweisungen unter 9 bis 11 aus.

2) Wiegevorgang

1. Steigen Sie auf die Wägeplatte.

2. Bewegen Sie sich während des Wiegens nicht.

3. Ihr Gewicht wird wie folgt auf dem Display angezeigt:

Meldung Fehler:

PRECAUZIONI PER L'USO
