1. Welcome
TeleNav™ 4.4 utilizes the Java™ programming environment, the internal GPS receiver, and access to your carriers data network that are all built-in to the Research in Moti on BlackBerry 7130e and 8703e. TeleNav features:
GPS navigation that punctually guides you turn-by-turn to any desti nation addre ss in the Contin ental US. If you miss a turn or get off-track, TeleNav will calculate a new route for you. You ca n enter one or more destinatio n addresses by calling an automatic voice reco gnition syst em, entering them on the TeleNav website , keying them directly into the handheld or by pulling them directly from the BlackBerry Address Book. Optionally, you can input a remote origin and receive Driving Dire ctions from that ori gin address to th e selected destinatio n address.
A Business Finder feature that allows you to find businesse s or points of interest near your current location, around a waypoint, around an entered address, or arou nd an airport. You can call the bu siness first to check availability of an item, or get a reservation, and then navigate t o it; or you can save t he address for use later i n the day.
Maps of the area around your current location; a marked way point; or an ad dress you enter manu ally, or have previously entered. You can pan (adjust left/right or up/down) the map, and zoom in or out. You can also mark a point under the cursor as a waypoint.
