Quick-Start Guide for Cincinn ati Bell - Windows Mobile SmartPhones
This Quick-Start Guide gives you instructions for installing and removing the TeleNav GPS Navigator application. For detailed
instructions including how to run TeleNav GPS Navigator for the first time, please consult the TeleNav User’s Guide.
Activating an Account
You must first purchase a subscription before you can download TeleNav GPS Navigator.
1. Call 1-888-391-3925, or dial 611on your Cincinnati Bell Wireless mobile device.
2. A Cincinnati Bell Customer Representative will provision your account.
3. You will receive an SMS message on your mobile device with a login number, a PIN, and the Over-the-Air (OTA)
link to download TeleNav GPS Navigator.
4. Click on the OTA link to begin the download. Alternatively, you can follow the instructions below to open a web
browser on your mobile device and type in the OTA.
Installing TeleNav GPS Navigator v5.2
TeleNav GPS Navigator can be installed on your Windows Mobile device by using the device’s Internet browser and
downloading the application directly to your handset over the air (OTA).
1. Click the Start menu and choose an Internet browser.
2. Chose “Action >> Go to” to enter a URL.

3. Enter the following URL: http://ota.telenav.com/ota/cbw
4. Click the OK button on your device.
5. The next screen presents a summary of the application
you are downloading. You can select either the “Save” or
“Open” option. Choose “Open” to launch the application
right away after the download and click Ok.
6. After the application has downloaded, you will see the
Transfers screen. If necessary, click Menu >> Open to
continue.

7. After the download process has completed successfully,
locate the TeleNav application icon on the Start menu.
8. Select TeleNav, and then complete the registration
process on the Login screen. You may need the PIN you
received in an SMS message.
9. After the application loads the necessary graphics and
sounds, it will be ready for use.
Removing TeleNav GPS Navigator
Do the following steps to remove the TeleNav application from your SmartPhone. You may need to remove the
application before installing a newer version, or for troubleshooting purposes.
1. Go to the Start menu and choose “Settings.”
2. In the Settings list, choose “Remove Programs” (you may
need to scroll down and choose “More” to see this item).

3. In the list, highlight “TeleNav” and click Remove.
4. Click Yes on the Remove Program warning message.
5. Verify that the application is no longer available on the
handset menu.
