1. Open up a Web browser and go to www.tek.com/software.

2. Enter the model number of your oscilloscope in the search box.

3. Scan the list of instrument fi rmware. Compare the version number to the

currently installed version on your oscilloscope.

PC. Unzip the files and copy the designated firmware file into the root folder
of a USB flash drive.

2. Insert the USB flash drive into a front-panel USB port on your oscilloscope.
The instrument automatically recognizes the firmware install file and starts
the installation process.

The oscilloscope will take about 5 minutes to install the new firmware. Do
not remove the USB flash drive or power off the instrument during this time.

4. After the oscilloscope displays a message that it has completed the upgrade,
power off the oscilloscope and remove the USB flash drive.

5. Power on the oscilloscope.

1. Select Help > About. The oscilloscope displays the firmware version number

near the top of the About menu.

2. Confirm that the oscilloscope firmware version number in the About menu
matches the firmware version number that you just installed.
