This list is not all-inclusive. Unless stated otherwise, probes with exposed metal are
electrically connected to common.
WARNING. To avoid electric shock and possible injury, do not apply any
voltage above earth ground potential to the probe common lead (do not
float the common). Th e exposed metal on the probe compensation box is
electrically connected to the probe common lead and therefore is at the
same potential.
These voltage probes are intended for use with ground-referenced
oscilloscopes only. Do not float the osc illosc ope by removing or isolating
the ground pin from the AC powe r cord.
Do not use these voltage probes with any equipment with floating inputs,
including the TPS2000 or THS700 series oscilloscopes.
