Video Sequences Recovery Media
The PQA600 Picture Quality Analyzer comes from the factory with video
sequences preinstalled on the hard drive of the instrument. Use this recovery
media to reinstall those sequences if the software on your instrument becomes
corrupted or if you have performed an operating system recovery.
The PQA600 Video Sequences Recovery Media consists of a multi-DVD set.
The table below lists the formats of the video sequences that are installed on
each DVD.

The 1280x720 and 1920x1088 format Vclips sequences are a subset of the Tektronix Vclips
VC031A series of video clips. The 320x180 and 864x486 format Vclips sequences are
modified versions of Vclips VC031A 1280x720 sequences.

You can use the contents on Disk 6 for HD signal generation. You can change the Frame
rate from the above list. For SD signal generation, you can use the contents under PQA300
with Trigger and PQA300 without trigger folders.
Reinstalling the Software
To reinstall the PQA600 video sequences, perform the following steps:
1. Insert the PQ A600 Video Sequences Recovery disc that contains the sequence
you want to reinstall in the front-panel DVD drive of the instrument and close
the drive tray.
NOTE. You do not need to reinstall all of the video sequences. You can reinstall only the
sequences required for your application.
2. Use Windows Explorer to copy the video sequence(s) from the recovery media
to the hard drive of the instrument. The sequences were originally installed
in the following directories:
F:\PreInstalled_Sequences\PQA300 with Trigger\525
F:\PreInstalled_Sequences\PQA300 with Trigger\625
