CA module must be installed with boxer logo away from your TV. The smart card must be installed as shown below.

POWER: Connect to the power adaptor. USB: USB jack for update and Media.. HDMI1/2: Connect it to the HDMI of DVD or other equipment. SCART: Connect them to the SCART video output terminal of DVD.(used in component source)

PC-IN: Connect it to the audio output terminal of PC. VGA: For PC display.Connect it to the D-Sub 15 pins analog output connector of the PC.

COAX: Digital coaxial output.

Headphone: Connect it to your headphone or other audio equipment.

YPbPr: Connect them to the YPbPr video output terminal of DVD.(with the

Basic Operation

Power on/off

1. Connect to the power supply with a power cord.

2. -To turn on the TV Press POWER button on the TV or remote control.

-To turn off theTV

Press POWER button on the TV or remote control.

Input Source select

Press INPUT button on the TV set or remote control to display input source menu, and use CH+/- button on the TV set or on remote control to select the input source, press OK button on the remote control to enter.

Note: Before you select the input source, make sure the connections are prepared.

Description

Auto Tuning

Press OK button to enter the hint menu, and Press / button to select the Tune Type, then press button, and use / / / button to select the Country for the TV, then press OK button to start auto tuning.

ATV Manual Tuning Press OK button to enter the ATV Manual Tuning menu.

Current CH: Select a Channel for storing the programme. Color System: Select from PAL and AUTO Sound System: Select from I, BG, DK Search: Fine Tune: Press / button to fine-tune. AFC: Automatic Frequency control ON/OFF.

CADTV(DVB-C) / DTV(DVB-T) Manual Tuning

Press OK button to enter the CADTV/DTV Manual Tuning menu, and press OK button to start searching.

Programme Edit Press OK button to enter the Programme Edit menu as the following picture.

OSD Menu

Delete: Select a channel and press RED button, the program will be deleted.

Rename: Select an ATV channel and press the GREEN button to change the name of the

channel by buttons. Move: Select an ATV channel, and press YELLOW button, then you can use and buttons to change the position of the program, press YELLOW again to confirm the change. Press menu to exit and it will automatically save the current set. Skip: Select a channel and press the BLUE button to label the channel, as long as the channel has a skip label it will be skipped when searching through the channels with the CH+/- buttons.

Signal Information

Display the digital TV-signal information (DTV mode only).

CI Information

Please contact your “pay perview” provider who can supply a viewing card and cam unit with instructions for their use.

Software update(OAD)

Turn off/on the software update function from OAD.

2. PICTURE menu

Description

Picture Mode: Choose from Standard, Dynamic, Personal and Mild.

Note: Contrast, Brightness, Colour and sharpness are only available and can be adjusted in

the User mode option in the Picture Mode Settings.

Contrast: Controls the difference between the brightest and darkest regions of the picture. Brightness: Controls the overall brightness of the picture. Colour:Control the color. Tint: Controls the tint ( NTSC mode only). Sharpness: Increase this setting to see crisp edges in the picture; decrease it for soft edges. Colour Temperature: Choose from Cool, Normal and Warm. Noise Reduction: Choose interference noise modes form Off, Low, Middle, High and Default.

3. SOUND menu

Description

Sound Mode: Allows you to select among: Standard, Music, Movie, Sports and Personal.

Treble(Can be adjusted when the sound mode is Personal): Controls the relative intensity of

higher pitched sounds.

Bass (Can be adjusted when the sound mode is set to Personal): Controls the relative intensity of lower pitched sounds.

Balance: To adjust the balance of the left and right sound track, or turn off the volume of the left and right sound track.

Auto Volume: Control the volume of the programme automatically when you turn on the function by selecting “On”.

SPDIF MODE: Select the spdif mode.

AD Switch: Turn on/off the AD switch.

Audio Delay: Control the Audio Delay.

Description

Clock: Display the time. Time Zone: Allows you to select the time zone. Sleep Timer: Allows you to setup the sleep timer among: 10min, 20min, 30min, 60min, 90min,

120min,180min, 240min and off. Auto Standby : According to the latest ERP regulation, this unit will switch off itself automatically

if no change in status within the last 4 hours of operation..

OSD Timer: Allows you to select the time for OSD menu displays on the screen.

Description

Lock System: Turn on/off the Lock System function.

Note: You should enter the code to operate the menu.(original code is 0000)

Set Password: Set pin code. If the Pin code has been changed you must enter the present code. New : Enter the new password. Confirm: Enter the new password.

Block Program: You must enter the password to view channels that have been locked. Use

and buttons to select the channel and press the GREEN button on the remote control to lock the channel.

Parental Guidance: Allows you to select the Parental Guidance mode. Key Lock: Lock the buttons on the TV set when you turn on the function.

Description

OSD Language: Allows you to select menu language. TT Language: Allows you to select teletext language. Audio Language: Allows you to select audio language. Subtitle Language: Allows you to select subtitle language. Hearing Impaired: Turn on/off the Hearing Impaired function. Aspect Ratio: Choose from 4:3, 16:9, Zoom1, Zoom2. Blue Screen: Turn on/off the blue screen function when there’s no signal. First Time Installation: Display the First Time Installation menu.

SW INFORMATION: To show software information. Reset: Press OK button to restore factory default.

Software update(USB): Allows you to update the software from the USB.

Multimedia Operation

Basic Operation

1). Press the INPUT button on the remote control to display the input source menu, select Media source by the / buttons, and press OK button to enter the Multimedia menu seen below.

Press / button to select the option on the menu, and press OK button to change.

Previous/Next page: Turn to previous/next page of the text. Prev./Next: Turn to previous/next file. Stop: Stop auto turning pages. Music: Play/pause the music programme. Playlist: Display the playlist on the screen. Info: Display the information of the text.

DVD Operation

Press the Power button on the TV or the remote control, then press the SOURCE button to select DVD mode. If there is no disc in the DVD player the screen will show "NO DISC". Insert Disc according to picture next to disc slot. Do not touch the playing surface. Hold the disc around the outside with your fingers and place the disc into the slot. The player will automatically draw the disc into the player. To "Eject" the disc, press the EJECT button on the TV or the " " button on the remote control.

About Disc Terms

Title

Generally, pictures or music compressed on a DVD are divided into several sections, "title".

Chapter

The smaller section unit of picture or music in a DVD under the title, usually one title is comprised of one or more chapters and each of them is numbered for easy searching, but some discs may not have a recording chapter.

Track

A segment of picture or music on a CD, Each track is numbered for searching.

Care of Disc

Video disc contains high-density compressed data that needs proper handling.

1. Hold the disc with fingers by outer edge and/or the center spindle hole. Do not touch the discs surface.

2. Do not bend or press the disc.

3. Do not expose the disc to direct sunlight or heating sources, Stere discs in cabinet vertically, and in dry condition.

Prevent exposure to: Direct sunlight Heat or exhaust from a heating device Extreme humidity Clean the disc surface with a soft, dry cleaning cloth, Wipe the disc surface gently and radically from center toward the outer edge. Do not apply thinner, alcohol, chemical solvent, or sprays when cleaning. Such cleaning fluids will permanently damage the disc surface.

Trouble shooting

Do not use other functions that are not mentioned in this user’s manual. In case a problem occurs with your TV, please take the following steps first. If you still have the problem, turn the power off and contact your dealer or an authorized service center.

This problem occurs for a brief time in the process of image elimination processing in order to hide temporary screen noise that occurs when the power is turned on. But if the screen does not come after 1 minute contact your dealer or an authorized service center.

4. If the batteries have no power, replace them with two new batteries.
