1- Read these instructions thoroughly before using this item. 2- Keep these instructions for future reference. 3- Heed all warnings. 4- Follow all instructions. 5- WARNING: To prevent fire or electric shock, do not expose this equipment to rain or moisture. Do not store or operate this product near any liquids. 6- Clean only with a dry cloth. 7- Do not store or operate this product near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatuses (including amplifiers) that produce heat. 8- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding plug has two blades and a round grounding prong. The wide blade or third prong is provided for your safety . If the provided plug does not fit your outlet, consult an electrician for the replacement of the obsolete outlet. 9- Protect the all wires connected to this unit from being walked on or pinched, particularly plugs and the point where they exi t from the unit. When removing the cord from the power outlet, remove it by holding the plug not by pulling the cord. 10- Unplug the unit during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. 11- When wiring this unit and all other equipment used in connection to this unit make sure that all of your equipment is turned OFF. 12- Once installation and wiring is complete power on all your equipment with the volume and level controls turned DOWN. Once all the equipment is ON slowly raise the volume or level controls to their proper positions. 13- When grounding this unit, be sure to do so correctly, so as not to defeat the built-in grounding in this unit. 14- Before placing, installing, rigging, or suspending any product, inspect all hardware, suspension, cabinets, transducers, brackets and associated equipment for damage. Any missing, corroded, deformed, or non-load rated component could significantly reduce the strength of the installation, placement or array. Any such condition severely reduces the safety of the installation and should be immediately corrected. Use only hardware which is rated for the loading conditions of the installation and any possible short-term, unexpected overloading. Never exceed the rating of the hardware or equipment. 15- Consult a licensed, Professional Engineer regarding physical equipment installation. Ensure that all local, state and national regulations regarding the safety and operation of equipment are understood and adhered to. 16- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any wa y, such as power supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
Introduction
Congratulations and thank you for your purchase of this Technical Pro Monitor Speakers with Bluetooth® Compatibility, the MWB5000.To get the most from your unit, it is recommended that you review all of the information provided in this instruction manual before operating this equipment.

MBW5000 Master Rear Panel:
1. Line Input (RCA): Connect your sound source to this RCA input. The line volume will be controlled by the volume knob located on the front panel of the unit. Only passive signals should be connected to this input. To play from the source connected to this input, press the mode button until only the RED led is illuminated.
2. Line Input (XLR): Connect your sound source (mixer) to this XLR input. The line volume will be controlled by the volume knob located on the front panel of the unit. Only passive signals should be connected to this input. To play from the source connected to this input, press the mode button until only the BLUE led is illuminated.
3. Power Switch: Before the unit is powered on, all of the level controls should be turned down all the way. Once powered on, slowly begin to raise the levels of the inputs. This will prevent damaging both the speaker and the amplifier.
4. Passive Line Output (RCA): The passive line output will transmit the signal coming into the unit. Connect this line output to a recording device or to amplifier.
5. AUX Line Input (1/8”): Connect your sound source to this RCA input. The line volume will be controlled by the volume knob located on the front panel of the unit. Only passive signals should be connected to this input. To play from the source connected to this input, press the mode button until only the RED led is illuminated.
6. Power Supply: Connect the power cord here. The power switch (3) should be set to the off position before the power supply is connected.

7. USB Flash Drive Input: Connect a USB memory storage (flash drive) device here. The maximum size of the USB card cannot exceed 32GB. The speaker will only play .mp3 and .wma files from the USB card input. Do not connect your computer to this input as it will not play files directly from a computer. Once connected use the buttons on the right side of the panel to control the USB input.
8. Bluetooth / Line Input indicator: (See Mode selector button for details).
9. Mode Selector Button: Press this button to switch between the various inputs. To set the unit to USB Mode, press this button until the RED led is flashing To set the unit to Bluetooth Mode, press this button until the RED & BLUE leds are flashing rapidly.
When this occurs the unit is ready to be paired with a Bluetooth device. Turn on the bluetooth function on your Bluetooth enabled device (ie cell phone) and search for all Bluetooth connections until device names “TECHNICAL PRO” is found and pair with the device. The pair code is “0000”--- 4 zeros. Once paired the RED & BLUE leds will slowly flash indicating the unit has been successfully paired.
To set the unit to play from the RCA or 1/8” inputs, press this button until the RED led is illuminated. To set the unit to play from the XLR (Mixer) input, press this button until the BLUE led is illuminated.
10. Previous Track Button- : Press this button to move to the previous track on the USB flash drive.
11. Play/Pause Button: The play / pause button will only control the USB flash drive input.
12. Next Track Button: Press this button to move to the next track on the USB flash drive.
13. Master Volume: Turn this knob to increase or decrease the master volume.
14. Treble Knob: Turn this knob to increase or decrease the treble.
15. Bass Knob: Turn this knob to increase or decrease the bass.

MBW5000 Slave Rear Panel:
The Slave speaker is designed to wireless receive a signal from the Master speaker. The Slave speaker will be required to be power on in order to properly function.
16. Volume Limiter: The volume limiter will control the signal strength of the signal from the master speaker.
The actual volume will be controlled by the Master Volume knob (13). For example if the volume limiter is set to 80% but the master volume knob is set to zero, there will be no sound coming through the slave speaker.
17. Power Switch: Before the unit is powered on, all of the level controls should be turned down all the way.
Once powered on, slowly begin to raise the levels of the inputs. This will prevent damaging both the speaker and the amplifier.
18. Power Supply: Connect the power cord here. The power switch (3) should be set to the off position
before the power supply is connected.

MBW5000 Remote:
1. Power Button: Press this button turn off the unit’s audio output.
2. Mode Selector: Press this button to switch between the input modes, Line / Bluetooth / USB.
3. Next Track / Previous Track Selector: Press these buttons to go to the next or previous track when using
the USB input.
4. Volume: Press these buttons to increase or decrease the volume.
5. Number Keypad (0-9): When the unit is playing for the USB, press the numbers to find the desired track.
6. Stop Button: Press this button to stop the playback on the USB input.

8. Repeat Track(s): Press this button to repeat the current track or repeat ALL tracks when playing from the
USB input.
9. Pre-set Equalizer: Press this button to switch through the pre-set equalization modes when playing from
the USB input.
10. Play / Pause Button: When the unit is playing from the USB flash drive, press this button to pause the
signal from the USB flash drive. Press this button again to play.

MBW5000 Operation:
Using the LINE (RCA), XLR (MIXER), AUX (1/8”) & USB Inputs: Power OFF the unit, and connect the Passive speaker to the output on the powered speaker using the speaker wire. Power ON the unit and lower the volume. Press the Mode button until the LEDs on the side panel correspond to the correct input.
To set the unit to USB Mode, press this button until the RED led is flashing To set the unit to play from the RCA or 1/8” inputs, press this button until the RED led is illuminated. To set the unit to play from the XLR (Mixer) input, press this button until the BLUE led is illuminated.
Slowly raise the volume to the desired levels. Adjust the bass and treble accordingly.
Using the Bluetooth Input: Power OFF the unit, and connect the Passive speaker to the output on the powered speaker using the speaker wire. Power ON the unit and lower the volume. Press the Mode button until the LEDs on the side panel correspond to the correct input.
To set the unit to Bluetooth Mode, press this button until the RED & BLUE leds are flashing rapidly.
When this occurs the unit is ready to be paired with a Bluetooth device. Turn on the bluetooth function on your Bluetooth enabled device (ie cell phone) and search for all Bluetooth connections until device names “TECHNICAL PRO” is found and pair with the device.
