WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung, bevor Sie Ihr Gerät benutzen, und befolgen Sie
immer die Sicherheitsvorschriften und die Gebrauchsanweisung.

Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig, ob das Gerät nicht beschädigt ist. Bei Beschädigung, lassen
Sie es von einem Fachmann(*) überprüfen. Wenn die Anschlussleitung des Adapters
beschädigt ist, kann diese nicht repariert werden, sondern muss der ganze Adapter von
einem Fachmann(*) durch einen identischen oder baugleichen Adapter ausgewechselt
werden. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass alle Eigenschaften des neuen Adapters denen des
alten Adapters entsprechen.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zu Haushaltszwecken, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung
angegeben.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten, weder zum Reinigen,
noch zu einem anderen Zweck. Geben Sie das Gerät niemals in die Spülmaschine.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer Wärmequelle.
Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien und bewahren Sie es an einem trockenen Platz auf.
Benutzen Sie nur Zubehör, welches vom Lieferanten empfohlen wurde. Anderes Zubehör
stellt eine Gefahr für den Benutzer dar und das Gerät könnte dadurch beschädigt
werden.
Ziehen Sie niemals an der Anschlussleitung, um das Gerät zu bewegen. Achten Sie darauf,
dass zufälligerweise die Anschlussleitung nicht irgendwo hängen bleibt und dies zum Fall
des Gerätes führen könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät oder
knicken Sie sie nicht.
Wie Symbol auf dem Typenschild Ihres Gerätes zeigt, sollten Sie darauf achten,
dass keine Wasserspritzer auf das Gerät kommen, und benutzen Sie Ihr Gerät nicht in der
Badewanne, unter der Dusche oder im Allgemeinen wenn Sie in direktem Kontakt mit
Wasser sind, oder sich in der Nähe eines mit Wasser gefüllten Waschbeckens oder
Behälters befinden. Sollte Ihr Gerät trotzdem ins Wasser fallen:
- ziehen Sie dann sofort den Stecker aus der Steckdose
- halten Sie nicht Ihre Hand ins Wasser
- lassen Sie Ihr Gerät von einem Fachmann prüfen(*), bevor Sie es erneut

Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn eine der Klingen beschädigt ist. Wenden Sie sich an
einen Fachmann(*).
Benutzen Sie das Haarschneidegerät stets mit einem der dazugelieferten Kämme.
Benutzen Sie keinen beschädigten Kamm.
Benutzen Sie das Haarschneidegerät nicht zum Schneiden von nassem Haar, da das
Gerät nur zum Schneiden von trockenem Haar entworfen wurde.
Plazieren Sie die Ladestation nicht in der Nähe von Wasser.
Überprüfen Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der Spannung des Adapters übereinstimmt,
bevor Sie das Gerät an das Stromnetz anschließen. Benutzen Sie ausschließlich den
mitgelieferten Adapter. Benutzen Sie letzteren nicht für andere Geräte.
Benutzen Sie Ihr Gerät nicht, wenn der Adapter oder die Anschlussleitung
Beschädigungen aufweisen. Der Adapter kann nicht repariert werden. Bringen Sie ihn
zurück zum Händler, solange die Garantie gilt. Nach Verfall der Garantie sollte er entsorgt
werden. Sie können den Adapter durch einen baugleichen Adapter ersetzen.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät mit dem Adapter nicht im Freien. Bewahren Sie es an einem
trockenen Platz auf.
Legen Sie den gebrauchten/auslaufenden Akku in eine Plastiktüte und bringen Sie ihn zum
Entsorgungszentrum Ihrer Gemeinde/Stadt.
ACHTUNG: BERÜHREN SIE NICHT DEN AKKU ODER DIE AUSTRETENDE FLÜSSIGKEIT.
(*) Fachmann: anerkannter Kundendienst des Lieferanten oder des Importeurs, der für
derartige Reparaturen zuständig ist. Für eventuelle Reparaturen wenden Sie sich bitte an
diesen Kundendienst.
DAS GERÄT ANSCHLIEßEN
• Die Ladestation kann an jede Stromquelle - auch an Rasierersteckdosen - mit 230-240V
Wechselstrom angeschlossen werden.
• Setzen Sie das Haarschneidegerät auf die Ladestation.
• Die rote Ladeanzeige leuchtet auf, wenn das Haarschneidegerät auf die ans Netz
angeschlossene Ladestation aufgesetzt wird.
• Während des Ladevorgangs kann sich das Haarschneidegerät leicht erwärmen. Ein
Überladen der Batterie ist nicht möglich.
• Um das Haarschneidegerät voll leistungsfähig zu erhalten, sollte es stets nach Gebrauch
auf die Ladestation zurückgesetzt werden.
HINWEISE ZUR PFLEGE DER WIEDERAUFLADBAREN BATTERIE
Damit die Batterie ihre volle Leistungsfähigkeit und Lebensdauer entfaltet und behält, sollte sie
vor dem ersten Gebrauch des Geräts 16 Stunden lang voll aufgeladen und anschließend durch
Gebrauch vollständig entladen werden. Danach bitte wieder maximal aufladen (6 Stunden).
Diesen Vorgang des Entladens und Ladens sollten Sie alle sechs Monate wiederholen.
VORBEREITUNG
•
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Haarschneidegerät in gutem Zustand, sauber und richtig
geölt ist. Achtung: Wenn die Klinge nicht gut geölt ist, wird das Gerät nicht richtig
funktionieren.
•
Legen Sie ein Handtuch um den Hals der Person, um zu vermeiden, dass Haare in den Nacken
fallen.
•
Die Person sollte so auf einem Stuhl sitzen, dass sich der Kopf in Brusthöhe der Person
befindet, die die Haare schneidet.
•
Kämmen Sie das Haar sorgfältig durch und halten Sie das Schneidegerät locker in Ihrer
Hand, damit Sie beim Schneiden stets genaue Kontrolle haben.

ÖL (s. Seite 2: A)
Die Klingen sollten regelmäßig geölt werden, damit das Gerät stets in einem guten Zustand ist.
Verwenden Sie kein Haaröl, Fett oder Öl, das mit Kerosin oder anderen Lösungsmitteln
gemischt wurde. Die Lösungsmittel verdunsten und es bleibt lediglich dickes Öl zurück,
wodurch die Bewegungen der Klingen langsamer werden können.
VERWENDUNG DER SCHNITTLÄNGENAUFSÄTZE (s. Seite 2, B)
Den Kamm mit den Zacken nach oben fest in die Klingen hineindrücken:
• Schneiden Sie zunächst nur eine kleine Fläche, damit Sie sich an die Schnittlänge
gewöhnen. Wir empfehlen Ihnen außerdem, mit dem Zusatzkamm #IIII zu beginnen.
Danach kann bei Bedarf ein kürzerer Kamm verwendet werden.
• Bei einem durchgehenden Schnitt das Schneidegerät niemals schnell durch die Haare
führen. Das Gerät funktioniert am besten bei einer langsamen Vorwärtsbewegung.
• Das Haar zunächst so kämmen, dass es natürlich fällt.
•
Wenn Sie den gewünschten Zusatzkamm auf die Haarschneidemaschine gestellt haben,
schneiden Sie das Haar, indem Sie die Zacken des Kammes gut gegen die Kopfhaut
halten. Es wird empfohlen mit kleinen Längen vorzugehen um das Stopfen-Phänomen zu
vermeiden. Dafür brauchen Sie nur den Kamm regelmäßig frei zu machen, indem Sie ihn
leicht nach außen beugen. Dann machen Sie dieselbe Bewegung, aber beginnen etwas
niedriger als vorher.
•
Schneiden Sie das Haar immer entgegengesetzt der natürlichen Haarrichtung. Für den
Hinterkopf gehen Sie vom Nacken bis zum Oberteil des Kopfes, für die Seiten von den
Ohren bis zum Oberteil des Kopfes und für das Oberteil des Kopfes von der Stirn bis an den
Hinterkopf.
•
Es wird empfohlen, das Haar regelmäßig zu frisieren. Wenn das Haar geschnitten und
frisiert ist, führen Sie die Haarschneidemaschine noch einmal schnell über das Haar, um
evtl. Strähnen zu schneiden, die aus Versehen nicht mitgeschnitten wurden.
Flach- und Bürstenschnitte
•
Verwenden Sie den längsten Schnittlängenaufsatz (IIII) und schneiden Sie jeweils vom
Nackenende bis zum Wirbel. Halten Sie das Gerät flach gegen den Kopf und gehen Sie
langsam durch das Haar. Verwenden Sie dieselbe Technik an den Seiten, indem Sie von
unten nach oben schneiden (9).
• Schneiden Sie das vordere Haar bis zum Wirbel gegen die Wuchsrichtung. Passen Sie dann
die Seiten an (10).
• Für einen flachen Haarschnitt benutzen Sie einen Kurzhaarschnitt-Zusatzkamm, um das
Haar zum Nacken hin spitz zuzuschneiden. Kämmen Sie das Haar und achten Sie auf
unebene Stellen (11).
SCHNEIDEN OHNE SCHNITTLÄNGENAUFSATZ
Zum Schneiden der Haare mittels eines Kamms bzw. mit Hilfe der Finger sowie zum Schneiden
der Konturen ist der Schnittlängenaufsatz abnehmbar.
Zusatzkamm #I…... für ca. 3 mm langes Haar
Zusatzkamm #II….. für ca. 6 mm langes Haar
Zusatzkamm #III... .für ca. 9 mm langes Haar
Zusatzkamm #IIII... für ca. 12 mm langes Haar

Stellen Sie den Schalter auf Stellung “0” und entfernen Sie den Schnittlängenaufsatz, indem Sie
ihn nach vorne schieben.
Schneiden der Haare mit Hilfe eines Kamms oder mit Hilfe der Finger
Ziehen Sie den Schnittlängenaufsatz vorsichtig ab, wie im vorigen Absatz beschrieben. Heben
Sie jeweils eine Haarsträhne mit Hilfe des Kamms hoch (12), oder nehmen Sie die Strähne
zwischen Ihre Finger (13).
Ziehen Sie die Haarsträhne solange durch den Kamm bzw. Ihre Finger, bis nur noch die
gewünschte Haarlänge zum Abschneiden hervorsteht. Schneiden Sie nun diese Länge mit
dem Gerät ab (14 und 15).
Nachschneiden
• Zum Nachschneiden der Frisur brauchen Sie kein Zubehör.
• Kämmen Sie das Haar so, wie es liegen soll. Beginnen Sie mit dem Umriss des Ohrs, indem
Sie die Auflagefläche des Scherkopfes auf die Haut legen und dem Umriss des Ohres
folgen (7). Das Gerät am Nacken und an den Koteletten in gewünschter Höhe verkehrt
herum gegen den Kopf halten und dann nach unten gehen (8). Wenn nötig, bearbeiten
Sie gründlich das widerborstige Haar.
• Nachdem Sie ein bisschen Erfahrung gesammelt haben, können Sie mit Ihrer
Haarschneidemaschine Stufenschnitte machen, indem Sie die Höhe der Kämme einfach
ändern, je nach der Schneidezone. Aber für diese Handhabung sollten Sie genug Übung
haben, um gute Ergebnisse zu bekommen.
STUTZEN VON BÄRTEN
• Führen Sie das Gerät gegen den Strich des Barthaares.
• Kämmen Sie die Barthaare so, dass sie möglichst hoch aufstehen und alle in die gleiche
Richtung zeigen.
• Setzen Sie den gewünschten Schnittlängenaufsatz auf.
• Schalten Sie das Gerät ein und schneiden Sie den Bart.
Schneiden des Bartrandes
• Nehmen Sie den Schnittlängenaufsatz ab.
• Halten Sie das Gerät diagonal, wobei die Vorderseite von Ihnen weg zeigt.
• Beginnen Sie am Kinn, und schneiden Sie in Rückwärts-Richtung.
• Folgen Sie der Kinnlinie, und schneiden Sie die längeren Haare an der äußeren Kante des
Bartes.
Formung des Bartes
• Halten Sie das Gerät senkrecht vor dem Gesicht, wobei die Vorderseite von Ihnen weg
gerichtet ist.
• Beginnen Sie mit der kurzgeschnittenen Kante des Bartes, und schneiden Sie die Haare
direkt unter der Bartlinie mit Abwärtsbewegungen.
Ausdünnen und zuspitzen
• Bringen Sie das Barthaar in die gewünschte Form.
• Halten Sie das Gerät mit der Vorderseite von sich weg. Schneiden Sie die Haarspitzen mit
Aufwärtsbewegungen.

SCHNURRBART SCHNEIDEN
Mit Schnittlängenaufsatz
• Kämmen Sie die Barthaare so, dass sie möglichst hoch aufstehen und alle in die gleiche
Richtung zeigen.
• Setzen Sie den gewünschten Schnittlängenaufsatz auf.
• Halten Sie das Gerät – waagerecht – so in der Hand, dass es mit der Vorderseite zu Ihnen
zeigt.
• Schneiden Sie die Barthaare mit einer Abwärtsbewegung.
Ohne Schnittlängenaufsatz
• Legen Sie einen Finger auf die Oberlippe, so dass die Haare von der Haut aufstehen.
• Schneiden Sie die Haare mit einer Aufwärtsbewegung.
• Schneiden Sie anschließend mit Abwärtsbewegungen, um eventuelle
Längenunterschiede auszugleichen.
• Zum Erzielen der gewünschten Konturlinie über der Oberlippe halten Sie das Gerät
senkrecht zur Schnittrichtung und bewegen es seitwärts.
INSTANDHALTUNG
• Das Schneidegerät wurde vor dem Versand sorgfältig untersucht, um sicherzustellen, dass
die Klingen gut ausgerichtet wurden. Die Klingen sollten regelmäßig geölt werden, damit
das Gerät stets in einem guten Zustand ist.
• Entfernen Sie die verbleibenden Haare mit der kleinen Bürste.
• Wechseln Sie die Klingen sobald Sie merken, dass sie stumpf geworden sind.
ENTNAHME DES AKKUS
Entfernen Sie für den Umweltschutz den Akku vom Gerät, wenn Sie letzteres entsorgen
möchten.
• Entfernen Sie das Messer, indem Sie es nach hinten drücken.
• Schrauben Sie die Schraube der Rückwand des Gerätes und die 2 Schrauben im
Messerhalter los.
• Trennen Sie die Rückwand vom Vorderdeckel.
• Durchtrennen Sie mit einer geeigneten Zange (Seitenschneider) die mit dem Akku
verbundenen Litzendrähte.
• Entnehmen Sie den Akku aus dem Gehäuseunterteil, und entsorgen Sie ihn nach den
geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen.

Zum Schutz unserer Umwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach
bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den Einsatz sowohl des Herstellers bzw.
Lieferanten als auch des Verbrauchers.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the
safety and operating instructions.
Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way,
due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge,
must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their
safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance.
Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.
Please note: when warning symbol is associated with a safety instruction, it emphasizes its
dangerous character and recommends a special attention on the part of the user.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages and should it be damaged, have it
checked by a competent qualified electrician (*). If the adapter's cord is damaged, it
cannot be repaired but the complete adapter must be replaced by an identical adapter

Do not use the clippers on wet hair, as it is designed for cutting dry hair.
Do not set up the charging base on the edge of a sink, a bath or a shower.
Before plugging in the adapter, check that your mains voltage corresponds to that of the
adapter. Never use any other adapter than that supplied with the appliance. Never use
the adapter for any other purpose.

repairable, it has to be returned to the seller during guarantee period or thrown away
when the guarantee has expired. In that case it has to be replaced by an identical
model.
Never use the appliance with its adapter outside and always place it in a dry
environment.
When you decide to throw away the appliance, make sure to remove the battery and to
dispose of it in an ecological manner. For more information contact your town authorities.
BE CAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH THE ACCUMULATOR OR THE LEAKING LIQUID.

CONNECTING
• The charging base can be connected to any voltage outlet - even to shaver sockets -
between 230-240 volts ac (-).
• Place the rechargeable hair clipper, facing the front onto the charging base.
• The red charge indicator will light up, when the power unit is inserted on the plugged-in
charging base.
• The hair clipper may warm up somewhat during recharging. This has no significance on
the unit's operation. Overcharging is impossible.
• To maintain the hair clipper's full performance, it should always be stored on the charging
base after use.
PRESERVING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
To maximise the capacity and life of the rechargeable battery, it should be fully charged for 16
hours before the first use and then fully discharged by using. Then recharge to full capacity (6
hours). This discharging/charging procedure should be done every six months.
BEFORE YOU START
• Make sure that your clipper is clean, properly oiled and in perfect working condition.
Caution: if the blade is not oiled correctly, the appliance will not work properly.
• Place a towel around the neck of the person whose hair is to be cut to prevent hair from
falling inside the collar.
• Have the person sit on a chair so that his/her head is at your eye’s level.
• Comb the hair thoroughly and hold the clipper in a relaxed, comfortable grip. This will help
you maintain an accurate cutting control.
OIL (see page 2: A)
To maintain your clipper in peak condition, the blades should be oiled every few haircuts. Do
not use hair oil, grease or oil mixed with kerosene or any solvent, as the solvent will evaporate
and leave the thick oil which may slow down the blades' motion.

• In order to become accustomed to the length of each attachment comb we
recommend for the first use to place the attachment comb #IIII and then to reduce the
length steadily until you obtain the desired length. Afterwards, you can place directly the
comb you want.
• For uniform cutting, never push or force the clipper through the hair at a fast pace. The
clipper works most efficiently when it works at its own speed.
• Start by combing the hair in its natural direction.
• Once you placed the attachment comb on the hair clipper, cut the hair by placing the
comb teeth flat against the scalp. We recommend proceeding by small lengths in order
to avoid stuffing. Therefore you only have to remove the comb regularly by bending it
lightly outward. Then make the same movement but start lower than the point at which
you removed the clipper in order to obtain a homogeneous length.
• The cutting always happens by moving towards in the opposite side of the natural
direction of the hair. For the backside, start from the nape of the neck and go to the top
of the head, for the sides, from the ears to the top of the head and for the top of the
head, from the forehead to the backside of the head.
• We recommend doing the hair regularly in order to check the homogeneity of the cutting
and to replace the hair. For the same reason, once the hair is cut and done, work the hair
clipper again but quicker in order to cut the hair that would have escaped from the first
cutting. You can eventually insist on the places with defaults.
Short cuts
• Always cut from the back of the neck to the crown, using the longest attachment comb
(IIII). Holding it flat against the head, slowly move the clipper up through the hair. Use the
same technique for the sides, cutting from the bottom to the upper side of the head (9).
• For the front of the crown, cut the hair against the direction in which it grows. Then even it
up with the sides (10).
• To taper hair down to the neckline, use closer cutting attachment combs. Comb hair,
check for uneven spots and outline sideburns and neckline (11).
CUTTING WITHOUT COMB ATTACHMENT
To cut the hair with the help of a comb or your fingers as well as to cut the outlines, you do not
need a comb attachment.
Put the switch in position “0” and remove the attachment comb by sliding it forward.
Cutting hair with the help of a comb or your fingers
Remove the comb attachment carefully, as explained in the previous paragraph.
Raise a wisp of hair with the help of the comb (12), or take the wisp between your fingers (13).
Take the wisp through the comb or fingers until only the desired hair length remains under the
comb/fingers. Cut the hair that is above the comb or fingers with the hair clipper (14 and 15).
Outlining
• Outlining requires no attachment combs.

• Comb hair into the required style. Position clipper between the sideburns and the ear. Make
sure the outer edge of the blade is against the hairline. With the outline of the hair as your
guide, slowly move the clipper around the ears (7). For the back of the neck and the
sideburns, hold the clipper upside down (8), and move downwards holding it against the
skin at the length desired. If necessary, insist on the reluctant hair.
• When you get used to your hair clipper, you will be able to make layers simply by changing
the length of the combs in function of the cutting zone. This handling asks for a special
dexterity in order to obtain a correct result.
CUTTING A BEARD
• Lead the appliance against the grain of the beard.
• Comb the beard hair so that it stands as high as possible, all in the same direction.
• Put the desired comb attachment on the appliance.
• Switch on the appliance and cut the beard.
Cutting the outlines of the beard
• Remove the comb attachment from the appliance.
• Hold the appliance in diagonal position with the front side pointing away from you.
• Start with the chin and cut backwards.
• Follow the chin line and cut the longer hair at the outside of the beard.
Styling the beard
Hold the appliance vertically in front of your face, with its front side pointing away from you.
Start with the shortest areas of the beard and cut the hair directly under the beard line moving
down.
Thinning and sharpening
Bring the beard hair in the desired shape.
Hold the appliance with its front side pointing away from you and cut the hair tips by moving
down.

• Comb the moustache so that it is as vertical as possible.

MAINTENANCE
• Your clipper was carefully examined before leaving our factory to ensure that the blades
were oiled and aligned. To maintain your clipper in peak condition, the blades should be
oiled every few haircuts.
• Use the small brush to remove remaining hair.
• Change the blades as soon as they become blunt.
DISPOSAL OF BATTERY
When you decide to throw out your appliance, first remove the battery in order to protect the
environment.
• Remove the blade by pushing it backwards.
• Unscrew the screw of the back cover of the appliance and the 2 screws in the blade
holder.
• Separate the back cover from the front cover.

RACCORDEMENT DE L'APPAREIL
• Le chargeur peut être raccordé à n'importe quelle prise de courant alternatif de 230-240

• Placez la tondeuse rechargeable sur le chargeur.
• Le témoin rouge de charge s'allume lorsque vous placez la tondeuse sur le chargeur relié

CONSEILS D'ENTRETIEN DE LA BATTERIE
Pour prolonger la durée de vie de la batterie, avant la première utilisation, chargez-la durant
16 heures puis déchargez-la entièrement en usage. Il ne sera pas nécessaire d’effectuer cette
opération systématiquement mais il sera bon de la répéter régulièrement. En général, une
recharge complète de la batterie selon le temps d’utilisation préalable ne dépassera pas 6
heures.
AVANT DE COMMENCER
• Assurez-vous que votre appareil est propre, huilé et en parfait état de marche. Attention si
les lames ne sont pas correctement huilées, votre appareil ne fonctionnera pas
correctement.
• Placez une serviette autour du cou de la personne à qui vous devez couper les cheveux
pour éviter que des cheveux ne tombent dans son cou.
• Faites s'asseoir la personne afin que sa tête soit au niveau de vos yeux.
• Démêlez les cheveux et prenez l’appareil d’une main souple et détendue afin de mieux
contrôler la coupe.
LUBRIFICATION (cf. page 2: A)
Les lames doivent être huilées régulièrement pour garder l’appareil en bon état de
fonctionnement. N’utilisez que de l’huile spéciale tondeuse à cheveux et surtout jamais de la
graisse ou de l’huile contenant du kérosène ou du dissolvant. Les dissolvants s’évaporent et
l’huile restante ralentira les lames.

• Nous vous conseillons lors de la première utilisation et ceci afin de vous habituer aux
différentes hauteurs de coupe, de placer le peigne #IIII puis de diminuer la hauteur
régulièrement jusqu’à obtenir la hauteur désirée. Par la suite, vous pourrez monter
directement le peigne correspondant à votre choix.
• Pour obtenir une coupe uniforme, ne passez pas trop rapidement la tondeuse dans les
cheveux. Commencez par peigner les cheveux de façon à ce qu’ils prennent leur forme
naturelle.
• Une fois le peigne positionné sur la tondeuse, coupez les cheveux en appliquant le peigne
avec les dents bien à plat contre le cuir chevelu. Il est conseillé de procéder par petites
longueurs afin d’éviter le phénomène de bourrage. Pour cela, il suffit de dégager
régulièrement le guide de coupe en l’inclinant légèrement vers l’extérieur. Puis réalisez le
même mouvement mais en repartant plus bas que l’endroit où vous aviez dégagé la
tondeuse afin d’avoir une hauteur bien uniforme.
• La coupe se réalise toujours en avançant dans le sens opposé par rapport à l’orientation
naturelle des cheveux. Pour l’arrière, partez de la nuque en remontant vers le haut du
crâne, pour les côtés, des oreilles vers le haut du crâne et pour le dessus de la tête en
partant du front vers l’arrière du crâne.
• Il est conseillé de coiffer régulièrement les cheveux afin de vérifier l'uniformité de la coupe
et de replacer les cheveux. Pour la même raison, une fois les cheveux coupés et coiffés,
repassez la tondeuse de façon plus rapide afin de couper les cheveux qui auraient
échappé au premier passage. Eventuellement, insistez aux endroits qui présentent des
défauts.
Coupe à la brosse
Coupez en direction du haut du crâne en partant de la nuque avec le peigne "IIII". Coupez les
cheveux dans le sens opposé par rapport à l'orientation naturelle des cheveux en appliquant
le guide de coupe avec les dents bien à plat contre le cuir chevelu. Utilisez la même
technique pour les deux côtés en coupant de bas en haut (9).
Pour l'avant, coupez les cheveux dans le sens opposé par rapport à leur orientation naturelle
et égalisez par rapport aux côtés (10).
Utilisez un des peignes détachables plus petits pour effiler la nuque. Peignez les cheveux et
faites quelques retouches si nécessaire de façon à ce que les favoris aient la même longueur
et que les cheveux soient bien droits dans la nuque (11).
UTILISATION DE LA TONDEUSE SANS GUIDE DE COUPE
Pour couper les cheveux à l'aide d'un peigne ou des doigts ainsi que pour couper les contours,
il n'est pas nécessaire d'utiliser un guide de coupe.
Placez l’interrupteur sur la position “0” et retirez le guide de coupe en le faisant coulisser vers
l’avant.
Couper les cheveux à l'aide d'un peigne ou des doigts
Retirez le guide de coupe doucement comme décrit dans le paragraphe précédent. Relevez
chaque fois une mèche de cheveux à l'aide du peigne (12) ou prenez-la entre les doigts (13).
Peigne #I...... laisse 3 mm de longueur de cheveux
Peigne #II..... laisse 6 mm de longueur de cheveux

Passez les mèches de cheveux dans le peigne ou entre les doigts jusqu'à ce que la longueur
que vous désirez couper se trouve au-dessus du peigne ou des doigts et coupez ces cheveux
avec la tondeuse (14 et 15).
Dessin des contours
• Pour les contours, vous n’avez pas besoin d’utiliser le guide de coupe mais appliquez
directement les lames sur les cheveux.
• Peignez vos cheveux dans la forme désirée. Commencez par le contour de l’oreille en
plaçant le côté de la tondeuse sur la peau et en suivant l’arrondie de l’oreille (7). Pour
dessiner les favoris et la nuque, placez la tondeuse à l’envers (le capot orienté vers la
tête), le bout des lames perpendiculaires à la peau et coupez à la longueur désirée (8). Si
nécessaire, insistez au niveau des cheveux réticents.
• Après avoir acquis une certaine expérience, votre tondeuse vous permettra de réaliser
des dégradés en changeant simplement la hauteur de coupe en fonction de la zone de
la tête mais la manipulation demande une certaine dextérité afin d’obtenir un résultat
correct.
TAILLER LA BARBE
• Guidez la tondeuse dans le sens inverse de l'orientation naturelle de la barbe.
• Peignez les poils de barbe de façon à ce qu'ils soient aussi droits que possible et dans le
même sens.
• Placez le guide de coupe désiré sur l'appareil.
• Mettez l'appareil en marche et taillez la barbe.
Couper les contours de la barbe
• Retirez le guide de coupe.
• Maintenez la tondeuse en position diagonale de façon à ce que l'avant de l'appareil soit
dos à vous.
• Démarrez au menton et coupez vers l'arrière.
• Suivez la ligne du menton et coupez les poils plus longs aux extrémités de la barbe.
Façonnage de la barbe
• Maintenez l'appareil à la verticale à hauteur du visage de façon à ce que l'avant de
l'appareil soit dos à vous.
• Commencez par les côtés les plus courts de la barbe et coupez les poils situés
directement en dessous du contour de la barbe en faisant des mouvements vers le bas.
Affilage et finition
• Peignez la barbe pour obtenir la forme désirée.
• Maintenez l’appareil de façon à ce que la face soit dos à vous et coupez les poils qui
dépassent en faisant des mouvements vers le haut.
TAILLER LA MOUSTACHE
Avec guide de coupe
• Peignez la moustache de façon à ce qu’elle soit aussi droite que possible et que les poils

ENTRETIEN
• L’alignement et la lubrification des lames ont été vérifiés en usine. Les lames doivent être
huilées régulièrement pour garder l’appareil en bon état de fonctionnement.
• Utilisez la petite brosse pour enlever les cheveux restants.
• Remplacez les lames dès qu'elles sont émoussées.
ENLÈVEMENT DE LA BATTERIE
Lorsque vous décidez de mettre votre appareil au rebut, retirez au préalable la batterie par
souci de protection de l’environnement.
• Retirez la lame en la poussant vers l’arrière.
• Dévissez la vis du capot arrière de l’appareil et les 2 vis situées dans le logement de la
lame.
• Séparer le capot arrière du capot avant en les écartant.
• Sectionnez les câbles qui relient la batterie à l’appareil à l’aide d’une pince coupante.
• Retirez ensuite la batterie de l’appareil et évacuez-la de manière conforme à la
législation locale.
