Dual
Master
The amp is based on a technology.
It is our own groundbreaking technology which permits us to create powerful guitar amplifiers
in very compact shapes. This technology uses all the significant features of tubes which
determine the warm, classic sound of guitar amps. We offer players an amplifier with
extremely light weight, very compact dimensions and powerful sound. The sound
characteristics and power of the amplifiers based on our MTD technology are equal to the
classic tube amps with the same power rating.
The Taurus Dual Master is designed for guitarists who want to build their own sound based on
stereo effects or want to use two amps at once. Each amplifier can be independently switched
ON, thus they can be use separately or together in various modes:
Stereo mode , when the stereo output of the pedal board or guitar sound module is
connected.
Mono mode, where two guitars are connected and each of the amplifiers is working with
its own guitar and speaker cabinet.
Classic mode, when only one of amplifiers is used.
Additional advantage of Dual Master. in contrary of using two separate amplifiers at the same
time, is that an external Amp Selector (eliminates hum or loss of tone.) or Power Attenuator do
not have to be used at all.
Each of the Dual Master amplifiers offer guitarists two channels with separate GAIN and
VOLUME controls. It makes it possible to use two different sound settings via foot-switch.
Beside the GAIN and VOLUME controls, each channel is equipped with BASS, MIDDLE,
TREBLE, PRESENCE potentiometers and BOOST, BASS-RANGE, MID-RANGE switches.
The MID-RANGE switch changes the range of frequency of the MIDDLE potentiometer while
the BRIGHT/DARK switch alters the high frequency range. This option is very useful in the
proper setting of the guitar’s sound in an overall band mix, depending on the style of music
played and type of guitar used. It allows also to experimenting with sounds using eg. two
amplifiers connected with cabinets equipped with different types of speakers. The footswitches
allow for separate control of each amplifier, as well as both of them at once. The amp is
equipped with internal selector amplifiers (Amps-Switch) with output to external controller or
footswitch. Each of amps has their own separately power supply, ON/OFF switch and fuses,
what makes them completely independent.

Note: When guitar is connected to input AMP-1 only, signal is sent to both
amplifiers simultaneously. When both inputs are used, each amplifier
works separately.
