Every personal, project or major recording studio needs
power. And when it comes to monitoring signals from
mixers, MIDI equipment and other gear, you need to
power those nearfield or studio monitor speakers. Clean
sound, space consciousness, high-performance and
flexibility are your criteria. And thatÕs exactly what makes
the TASCAM PA-150 an ideal fit for personal and project
studios or for major studios looking for a high-value
power amp for a B suite or off-line editing room. With its
dual power, switchable stereo/mono design, it excels in
control room and recording studio applications Ñ
whether powering single speakers, stereo pairs or
bridged series.

As with all TASCAM studio equipment, the PA-150 is
built to last and will provide years of trouble free opera­tions. With semiconductor circuitry, a convection-cooled
heat sink and a rugged power transformer, the PA-150
delivers up to 150W per channel of pristine sound in a
compact 2U, rack mountable design.

Balanced and Unbalanced Connections

You wonÕt have to worry about using the PA-150 today Ñ or
tomorrow. With both balanced and unbalanced connectors, it
will easily integrate into any studio. The back panel inputs are
optimized for +4 dBm and -10 dBV levels, minimizing gain
staging to a single front panel sensitivity control. Also on the rear
panel, is a stereo/BTL mode selector switch that enables you to
take advantage of the PA-150Õs Dual Power Design. That means
it can be used to pump out stereo or mono signals. Of course,
solid speaker wire terminals are well labeled and make it easy
to set up for bridged mono or stereo use. Setup is quick and
simple.

You Need Power, Performance and Protection

The PA-150 sounds great and delivers 150W per channel at
4 ohms or 115W per channel at 8 ohms. And with an extremely
flat frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz at less than .08% THD, it
delivers a clean, transparent signal perfect for recording studio
monitoring applications. And while the PA-150 packs enormous
headroom, youÕll be pleased to know that it will warn you if your
signals get too hot with its bright LED clip indicators for each
channel.
