Storage Capacity Expansion
When storage capacity on the Synology RS10613xs+ reaches its
limit, Synology RX1213sas provides an easy way to immediately
scale up by additional 12 SATA, SAS, or SSD drives for exibility and
balanced performance. Volumes on the Synology RS10613xs+
can be expanded directly without having to reformat existing
drives, ensuring that service on Synology RS10613xs+ continues
during capacity expansion. Created as an independent volume,
Synology RX1213sas provides an easy means of backing up
Synology RS10613xs+.
Reliable Plug-n-Use Design
The Synology RS10613xs+ securely connects to the Synology
RX1213sas through dual SAS cables to ensure maximum
throughput and connection redundancy. Drives in the connected
Synology RX1213sas can operate as though they were internal
to Synology RS10613xs+, with no data–retrieval lag. Redundant
power supplies also ensure continual service uptime. Synology
RX1213sas is managed by Synology DiskStation Manager, with no
additional software installation required.
