Input/Output Ports
COM1 - Dedicated comm port for Symbol portable data
terminal charging and communications cradle. The VCD 3112
cradle supports the PDT 3100 data terminal. The VCD 4612
cradle supports the PPT 4600 portable pen terminal (RS-232
standard).
COM2 - Accommodates RS-232 peripheral devices.
Keyboard - IBM-AT (or XT) compatible port (depending on
model).
WLAN Antenna - for wireless local area communications
between Symbol portable data terminals and the SMG.
12/24VDC - 4-pin power connector with chassis ground.
You may also have up to two of the following options:
COM3 - Additional RS-232 port.
COM4 - Additional RS-232 port.
WWAN Antenna - Wireless Wide Area Network
communications.
