1 Sicherheitshinweise

Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Dieses Telefon ist geeignet für das Telefonieren innerhalb eines
Telefonnetzes. Jede andere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestim­mungsgemäß. Eigenmächtige Veränderungen oder Umbauten
sind nicht zulässig. Öffnen Sie das Gerät in keinem Fall selbst
und führen Sie keine eigenen Reparaturversuche durch.

Aufstellungsort

Vermeiden Sie Belastungen durch Rauch, Staub, Erschütterun­gen, Chemikalien, Feuchtigkeit, Hitze oder direkte Sonnenein­strahlung.

Entsorgung

Sie sind gesetzlich zur sachgerechten Entsorgung
von Gebrauchsgütern verpflichtet. Das nebenste­hende Symbol auf Ihrem Telefon bedeutet, dass
elektrische und elektronische Altgeräte und Batterien
getrennt vom Hausmüll zu entsorgen sind.

Elektrische oder elektronische Geräte entsorgen
Sie bei einer Sammelstelle eines geeigneten Entsor­gungsträgers.

Verpackungsmaterialien entsorgen Sie entsprechend
den lokalen Vorschriften.

2 Telefon in Betrieb nehmen

Telefon anschließen

Schließen Sie das Spiralkabel an die
Positionen 12 (nächste Seite) an. Ver­wenden Sie nur das mitgelieferte Spi­ralkabel, da das Gerät mit einem ande­ren Spiralkabel eventuell nicht
funktioniert.

Verbinden Sie das Telefon (19) und die
Telefonanschlussdose mithilfe des Te­lefonkabels. Verwenden Sie nur das
mitgelieferte Telefonanschlusskabel, da
das Gerät mit einem anderen Telefon­anschlusskabel eventuell nicht funktio­niert.

Wandmontage

Ihr Telefon ist zur Wandmontage geeignet. Für die Befestigung
des Telefons benötigen Sie zwei Schrauben. Bohren Sie zwei Lö­cher im Abstand der vorgesehenen Aufhängungen (100 mm) und
lassen Sie die Schrauben 5 mm aus der Wand herausstehen.
Setzen Sie das Telefon an den Aufhängungen auf die Schrauben
und schieben Sie es etwas nach unten.

Batterien einlegen

Legen Sie die Batterien in das geöffnete Batteriefach (20) ein.
Verwenden Sie nur Batterien des Typs AA Alkaline 1,5 V. Achten
Sie auf die richtige Polung! Schließen Sie das Batteriefach.

Das Display ist nur bei eingelegten/vollen Batterien ak-

tiv. Sollte auf dem Display BATT.SCHW erscheinen,
wechseln Sie bitte die Batterien.

Hauptmenü

In das Hauptmenü gelangen Sie, wenn Sie die Taste * gedrückt
halten. Mit der Taste X nehmen Sie Einstellungen vor. Mit der Ta-
ste £ speichern/bestätigen Sie Ihre Einstellungen und der nächste
Menüpunkt wird aufgerufen. Mit der Taste C verlassen Sie das
Menü.

Das Menü wird automatisch geschlossen, wenn Sie 30 Se-

kunden keine Taste betätigt haben.

Anruf annehmen

Wenn das Telefon klingelt, heben Sie den Hörer ab und führen
Sie das Gespräch.

Gespräch beenden

Um ein Gespräch zu beenden, legen Sie den Hörer auf.

Anrufen

Heben Sie den Hörer ab. Warten Sie, bis Sie das Freizeichen
hören. Wählen Sie die gewünschte Rufnummer mit den Ziffer­tasten (9).

Flash−Taste an Nebenstellenanlagen

Ist Ihr Telefon an einer Nebenstellenanlage angeschlossen, kön­nen Sie über die R−Taste (14) Funktionen, wie z. B. Anrufe weiter­leiten und automatischen Rückruf, nutzen. Lesen Sie bitte die Be­dienungsanleitung Ihrer Nebenstellenanlage. Ob Ihr Telefon an
Ihrer Nebenstellenanlage einwandfrei funktioniert, erfahren Sie
bei dem Händler, bei dem die Anlage gekauft wurde.

Hörerlautstärke einstellen

Die Hörerlautstärke wird mit einem Schalter (16) eingestellt.
Schieben Sie den Schalter nach links: Geringe Hörerlautstärke.
Schieben Sie den Schalter in die Mitte: Mittlere Hörerlautstärke.
Schieben Sie den Schalter nach rechts: Verstärkung auf +35 dB.

Achtung: Dieses Telefon kann sehr laute Lautstärken

wiedergeben, wenn der Verstärker aktiviert ist und der
Lautstärkeregler auf Maximum steht.
Große Vorsicht ist geboten beim Wechsel zwischen Be­nutzern mit normalem Gehör und vermindertem Gehör.

Klingellautstärke einstellen

Die Klingellautstärke wird mit einem Schalter (17) eingestellt.
Schieben Sie den Schalter nach links: Klingellautstärke aus.
Schieben Sie den Schalter in die Mitte: Klingellautstärke leise.
Schieben Sie den Schalter nach rechts: Klingellautstärke hoch

Direktwahl

Sie können die Direktwahltasten M1, M2, M3 als normale
Direktwahl oder als Speicherplätze für den Notruf nutzen. Halten
Sie die Direktwahltaste (11) für 2 Sekunden gedrückt. Wenn die
Anzeige _" im Display blinkt, haben Sie nun die Möglichkeit, die
Telefonnummer mit maximal 22 Ziffern einzutragen. Drücken Sie
zur Bestätigung die Wahlwiederholungstaste (6). Nun können Sie
einen Namen eintragen. Falscheingaben können Sie mit Hilfe der
Löschen−Taste (5) löschen.

Mit der Raute−Taste (10), geben Sie ein Leerzeichen ein.

Telefonbuch

Im Telefonbuch können Sie 30 Rufnummern mit den dazugehöri­gen Namen speichern.

 Geben Sie bei allen Rufnummern immer eine Vorwahl mit ein,

damit auch eingehende Ortsgespräche einem
Telefonbucheintrag zugeordnet werden können.

 Ist die Speicherkapazität erschöpft, zeigt das Display beim

nächsten Speichern die Meldung −−−−−100%". Um wieder Platz
zu schaffen, müssen Sie zuerst einen anderen Eintrag löschen.

Rufnummern/Namen in das Telefonbuch eingeben

Die Ziffertasten sind mit Buchstaben beschriftet. Durch mehrmali­ges Drücken der entsprechenden Taste können Buchstaben, Zif­fern und Sonderzeichen eingegeben werden.

Heben Sie den Hörer ab und halten die Telefonbuchtaste (3) für
2 Sekunden gedrückt. Wenn die Anzeige _" im Display blinkt,
haben Sie die Möglichkeit, die Rufnummer mit maximal 22 Ziffern
einzutragen. Durch Drücken der Wahlwiederholungstaste
bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe der Rufnummer. Anschließend
können Sie den dazugehörigen Namen eintragen. Durch erneutes
Drücken der Wahlwiederholungstaste (6) bestätigen Sie Ihren
Eintrag. Falscheingaben können Sie mit Hilfe der
Löschen−Taste (5) löschen.

Mit der Raute−Taste (10) geben Sie ein Leerzeichen ein.

Rufnummern/Namen im Telefonbuch editieren

Um einen Telefonbucheintrag zuändern, müssen Sie den ge­wünschten Namen suchen und dann die Telefonbuchtaste (3) ge­drückt halten. Nun können Sie Ihren Eintrag ändern.

Rufnummern aus dem Telefonbuch wählen

Sie müssen Rufnummern im Telefonbuch gespeichert haben.
Heben Sie den Hörer ab. Drücken Sie die Telefonbuchtaste (3)

und suchen mit der Einstelltaste (2) nach dem gewünschten
Namen mit der Rufnummer. Drücken Sie die Telefonbuchtaste (3)
erneut, um die Rufnummer zu wählen.

Rufnummern aus dem Telefonbuch löschen

Sie können eine Rufnummer aus dem Telefonbuch löschen.
Drücken Sie die Telefonbuchtaste (3) an Ihrem Hörer und gehen

Sie mit der Einstelltaste (2) auf die Nummer, die Sie löschen wol­len. Halten Sie nun die Löschen−Taste (5) 2 Sekunden gedrückt.
Der ensprechende Telefonbucheintrag wird gelöscht.

Anrufliste

Die Anrufliste speichert die Rufnummern aller angenommenen,
entgangenen und geführten Anrufe.

Insgesamt werden 15 Rufnummern mit 9 Zeichen und Datum in
der Anrufliste gespeichert.

Ist die Funktion LED ON" (siehe Menüstruktur) gewählt, werden
neue entgangene Anrufe durch Blinken einer LED signalisiert.

Ist die Anrufliste voll, wird der älteste Eintrag automatisch über­schrieben.

Achtung: Die Rufnummernanzeige (CLIP

) ist ein Zu­satzdienst Ihres Netzbetreibers. Ihr Telefon zeigt die
Rufnummer im Display, wenn Ihr Netzbetreiber diesen
Service anbietet. Bitte fragen Sie Ihren Netzbetreiber
nach weiteren Informationen.

Rufnummern aus der Anrufliste wählen

Wählen Sie bei aufgelegtem Hörer mit der Wahlwiederholungsta­ste (6) die gewünschte Rufnummer aus. Heben Sie den Hörer ab.
Es wird nun die Rufnummer gewählt.

Rufnummern aus der Anrufliste löschen

Wählen Sie die gewünschte Rufnummer aus der Anrufliste aus.
Halten Sie die Löschen−Taste (5) 2 Sekunden gedrückt, um den
Eintrag aus der Anrufliste zu löschen.

Rufnummern aus der Anrufliste im Telefonbuch speichern

Sie können Rufnummern aus der Anrufliste in das Telefonbuch
speichern.

Nehmen Sie den Hörer ab. Betätigen Sie den Auflegekontakt mit
einem Finger. Halten Sie den Auflegekontakt (8) während der Ein­gabe gedrückt. Wählen Sie die gewünschte Rufnummer in der
Anrufliste aus. Halten Sie die Stern−Taste 2 Sekunden gedrückt.

Die erste Ziffer der Rufnummer blinkt. Drücken Sie die
Wahlwiederholungtaste (6). Geben Sie über die Tasten

den Na­men ein. Erneutes Drücken der Wahlwiederholungstaste (6) be­stätigt den Eintrag. Im Display blinkt OK".

(Kosten Swisscom bei Drucklegung: CHF 2.60/min) wenden. Bei
Garantieansprüchen wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler. Die
Garantiezeit beträgt 2 Jahre.

6 Pflegehinweise / Garantie

Pflegehinweise

 Reinigen Sie die Gehäuseoberflächen mit einem weichen und

fusselfreien Tuch.

 Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungs− oder Lösungsmittel.

Garantie

SWITEL − Geräte werden nach den modernsten
Produktionsverfahren hergestellt und geprüft. Ausgesuchte

Materialien und hoch entwickelte Technologien sorgen für
einwandfreie Funktion und lange Lebensdauer. Ein Garantiefall
liegt nicht vor, wenn die Ursache einer Fehlfunktion des Geräts
bei dem Telefonnetzbetreiber oder einer eventuell
zwischengeschalteten Nebenstellenanlage liegt. Die Garantie gilt
nicht für die in den Produkten verwendeten Batterien, Akkus oder
Akkupacks. Die Garantiezeit beträgt 24 Monate, gerechnet vom
Tage des Kaufs.

Innerhalb der Garantiezeit werden alle Mängel, die auf Material−
oder Herstellungsfehler zurückzuführen sind, kostenlos beseitigt.
Der Garantieanspruch erlischt bei Eingriffen durch den Käufer
oder durch Dritte. Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße
Behandlung oder Bedienung, natürliche Abnutzung, durch
falsches Aufstellen oder Aufbewahren, durch unsachgemäßen
Anschluss oder Installation sowie durch höhere Gewalt oder
sonstige äußere Einflüsse entstehen, fallen nicht unter die
Garantieleistung. Wir behalten uns vor, bei Reklamationen die
defekten Teile auszubessern, zu ersetzen oder das Gerät
auszutauschen. Ausgetauschte Teile oder ausgetauschte Geräte
gehen in unser Eigentum über. Schadenersatzansprüche sind
ausgeschlossen, soweit sie nicht auf Vorsatz oder grober
Fahrlässigkeit des Herstellers beruhen.

Sollte Ihr Gerät dennoch einen Defekt innerhalb der Garantiezeit
aufweisen, wenden Sie sich bitte unter Vorlage Ihrer Kaufquittung

ausschließlich an das Geschäft, in dem Sie Ihr SWITEL − Gerät
gekauft haben. Alle Gewährleistungsansprüche nach diesen

Bestimmungen sind ausschließlich gegenüber Ihrem Fachhändler
geltend zu machen. Nach Ablauf von zwei Jahren nach Kauf und
Übergabe unserer Produkte können Gewährleistungsrechte nicht
mehr geltend gemacht werden.

Ce téléphone convient pour téléphoner à l’intérieur d’un réseau
téléphonique. Toute autre utilisation est considérée comme non
conforme à son usage. Des modifications ou changements effec­tués d’un propre gré ne sont pas autorisés. N’ouvrez en aucun
cas l’appareil et n’effectuez aucun essai de réparation vous−
même.

Lieu d’installation

Évitez les nuisances causées par la fumée, la poussière, les vi­brations, les produits chimiques, l’humidité, la grande chaleur ou
un ensoleillement direct.

Élimination

Vous êtes tenu par la loi d’éliminer les biens de
consommation de manière appropriée. L’icône ci−
contre sur votre téléphone signifie que les appareils
électriques et électroniques usagés ainsi que les pi­les doivent être éliminés séparément des ordures
ménagères.

Veuillez éliminer vos appareils usagés électri­ques ou électroniques dans le centre de collecte

d’un organisme approprié d’évacuation des déchets.
Éliminez les fournitures d’emballage conformément au

règlement local.

2 Mettre le téléphone en service

Raccorder le téléphone

Raccordez le câble spiralé aux posi­tions 12 (page suivante). Veuillez n’uti­liser que le câble spiralé fourni avec
l’appareil, l’appareil ne pouvant éven­tuellement pas fonctionner avec un au­tre câble.

Raccordez le téléphone (19) à la prise
de raccordement téléphonique à l’aide
du câble téléphonique. Veuillez n’utili­ser que le câble de raccordement télé­phonique fourni avec l’appareil, l’appa­reil ne pouvant éventuellement pas
fonctionner avec un autre câble.

Montage mural

Votre téléphone est conçu pour le montage mural. Vous avez be­soin de deux vis pour fixer le téléphone. Perforez deux trous à
une distance l’un de l’autre (100 mm) égale à celle qui sépare les
suspensions prévues et laissez sortir les vis du mur de 5 mm.
Fixez maintenant le téléphone en posant les encoches sur les vis
et poussez−le légèrement vers le bas.

Insérer les piles

Introduisez les piles dans le compartiment ouvert (20). N’utilisez
que des piles de type AA alcalines de 1,5 V. Observez une polari­sation correcte ! Fermez le compartiment à piles.

L’écran n’est actif que lorsque des piles pleines sont

insérées. Si BATTERIE! devait apparaître à l’écran,
veuillez alors remplacer les piles.

Menu principal

Vous parvenez au menu principal en maintenant la touche * ap-
puyée. La touche X vous permet d’effectuer les réglages. La tou­che £ vous sert à enregistrer/confirmer vos réglages et à appeler
l’option de menu suivante. Pour quitter le menu, appuyez sur la touche
C.

Le menu se ferme automatiquement si vous n’avez ac-

tionné aucune touche pendant 30 secondes.

Prendre un appel

Quand le téléphone sonne, décrochez le combiné et passez la
communication.

Terminer la communication

Reposez le combiné pour terminer une communication.

Appeler

Décrochez le combiné. Attendez jusqu’à ce vous entendiez la to­nalité. Composez le numéro de téléphone de votre choix à l’aide
des touches numériques (9).

Touche flash sur des installations PABX

Si votre téléphone est raccordé à une installation à postes supplé­mentaires, vous pouvez, par l’intermédiaire de la touche R (14), ti­rer profit de fonctions comme par ex. le transfert d’appels et le
rappel automatique. Veuillez lire le mode d’emploi de votre instal­lation PABX. Le revendeur auprès duquel vous avez acheté
l’installation vous dira si votre téléphone fonctionne parfaitement
sur votre installation PABX.

Régler le volume sonore de l’écouteur

Le volume sonore de l’écouteur se règle à l’aide d’un interrup­teur (16).

Poussez l’interrupteur vers la gauche : volume sonore faible de
l’écouteur. Poussez l’interrupteur vers le milieu : volume sonore
moyen de l’écouteur. Poussez l’interrupteur vers la droite : amplifi­cation +35 dB.

Attention : Ce téléphone peut rendre des volumes so-

nores très élevés lorsque l’amplificateur est activé et
que le régulateur se trouve sur Maximum.
Il est recommandé d’être prudent lorsque vous passez
d’un utilisateur présentant une difficulté d’audition à un
utilisateur à audition normale.

Régler le volume sonore de la sonnerie

Le volume sonore de la sonnerie se règle à l’aide d’un interrup­teur (17).

Poussez l’interrupteur vers la gauche : la sonnerie est désactivée.
Poussez l’interrupteur vers le milieu : volume sonore faible de la
sonnerie. Poussez l’interrupteur vers la droite : volume sonore fort
de la sonnerie.

Sélection directe

Vous pouvez utiliser les touches de sélection directe M1, M2, M3
comme sélection directe normale ou comme places de mémoire
pour l’appel d’urgence automatique. Maintenez la touche de
sélection directe (11) appuyée pendant 2 secondes. Si l’affichage
_" clignote à l’écran, vous avez maintenant la possibilité de saisir
le numéro de téléphone de 22 chiffres maximum. Pour confirmer,
appuyez sur la touche de répétition des derniers numéros (6).
Vous pouvez maintenant saisir un nom. Vous pouvez effacer des
saisies erronées à l’aide de la touche reset (5).

Saisissez un espace à l’aide de la touche dièse (10).

Répertoire

Vous pouvez enregistrer 30 numéros d’appel et le nom y afférant
dans votre répertoire.

 Saisissez toujours les numéros d’appel avec un indicatif afin

que le téléphone puisse aussi attribuer les communications
locales entrantes à un enregistrement du répertoire.

 Si la capacité de mémoire est épuisée, l’écran affichera le

message −−−−−100%" lors du prochain enregistrement. Afin de
créer à nouveau de la place, vous devez d’abord effacer un
autre enregistrement.

Saisir les numéros d’appel/noms dans le répertoire

Des lettres sont gravées sur les touches numériques. En ap­puyant plusieurs fois sur la touche adéquate, vous pouvez saisir
des lettres, des chiffres et des symboles.

Décrochez le combiné et maintenez la touche répertoire (3)
appuyée pendant 2 secondes. Si l’affichage _" clignote à l’écran,
vous avez la possibilité de saisir le numéro de téléphone de
22 chiffres maximum. En appuyant sur la touche de répétition des
derniers numéros, vous confirmez la saisie de votre numéro de
téléphone. Ensuite, vous pouvez saisir le nom y afférant. En
appuyant à nouveau sur la touche de répétition des derniers
numéros (6), vous confirmez votre enregistrement. Vous pouvez
effacer des saisies erronées à l’aide de la touche reset (5).

Saisissez un espace à l’aide de la touche dièse (10).

Modifier les numéros d’appel/noms dans le répertoire

Pour modifier un enregistrement du répertoire, vous devez cher­chez le nom de votre choix et ensuite maintenir la touche réper­toire (3) appuyée. Maintenant, vous pouvez modifier votre enre­gistrement.

Composer des numéros de téléphone à partir du répertoire

Vous devez avoir enregistré des numéros d’appel dans le réper­toire.

Décrochez le combiné. Appuyez sur la touche répertoire (3) et
cherchez le nom et le numéro d’appel de votre choix à l’aide de la
touche de réglage (2). Appuyez sur la touche répertoire (3).

Effacer des numéros de téléphone dans le répertoire

Vous pouvez effacer un numéro de téléphone dans le répertoire.
Appuyez sur la touche répertoire (3) de votre combiné et, à l’aide

Liste d’appels

La liste d’appels enregistre les numéros d’appel de tous les ap­pels pris, manqués et passés.

15 numéros d’appel en tout, de 9 chiffres chacun, avec date sont
enregistrés dans la liste d’appels.

Si la fonction LED ON" (voir structure de menu) est sélectionnée,
de nouveaux appels manqués seront signalés par une DEL cli­gnotante.

Si la liste d’appels est pleine, l’enregistrement le plus ancien sera
automatiquement écrasé.

Attention : L’affichage du numéro d’appel (CLIP

) est
un service confort de votre opérateur. Votre téléphone
affiche les numéros d’appel à l’écran si votre opérateur
offre ce service. Veuillez lui demander de plus amples
informations.

Sélectionner des numéros d’appel dans la liste d’appels

Sélectionnez le numéro de votre choix sans décrocher le combiné
en vous servant de la touche de répétition des derniers numé­ros (6) / touche de réglage (2). Décrochez le combiné. Le numéro
de téléphone se compose.

Effacer des numéros d’appel dans la liste d’appels

Sélectionnez le numéro d’appel de votre choix dans la liste d’ap­pels. Maintenez la touche reset (5) appuyée pendant 2 secondes
pour effacer l’enregistrement de la liste d’appels.

Sauvegarder des numéros d’appel dans le répertoire à partir

de la liste d’appels

Vous pouvez sauvegarder des numéros d’appel dans le répertoire
à partir de la liste d’appels.

Décrochez le combiné. Actionnez le contact de raccrochement
avec un doigt. Maintenez le contact de raccrochement (8) appuyé
pendant la saisie. Sélectionnez le numéro d’appel de votre choix
dans la liste d’appels. Maintenez la touche étoile appuyée pen­dant 2 secondes. Le premier chiffre du numéro d’appel clignote.
Appuyez sur la touche de répétition des derniers numéros (6).
Saisissez le nom via les touches

pas en jeu si l’exploitant du réseau téléphonique ou une
installation PABX éventuellement intercalée est responsable du
dysfonctionnement de l’appareil. La garantie ne s’applique pas

utilisés dans les produits. La durée de la garantie est de 24 mois

Il presente telefono consente di svolgere telefonate all’interno di
una rete telefonica. Qualsiasi altro impiego è considerato come
non conforme agli usi previsti. Non sono consentite modifiche o
trasformazioni non autorizzate. Non aprire per nessuna ragione
l’apparecchio autonomamente, né compiere riparazioni di propria
iniziativa.

Luogo di installazione

Evitare un’esposizione a fumo, polvere, vibrazioni, sostanze chi­miche, umidità, calore e raggi solari diretti.

Smaltimento

Sussiste l’obbligo legislativo al corretto smaltimento
di beni di consumo. Il simbolo riportato sul telefono e
raffigurato qui a lato indica che apparecchi usati elet­trici ed elettronici e batterie esauste non sono da
smaltire assieme ai normali rifiuti domestici.

2 Mettere in funzione il telefono

Collegare il telefono

Allacciare il cavo a spirale alle posi­zioni 12 (pagina successiva). Utilizzare
soltanto il cavo a spirale fornito in dota­zione visto che l’apparecchio potrebbe
non funzionare con un cavo a spirale di
altro tipo.

Collegare il telefono (19) e la presa te­lefonica con l’ausilio del cavo telefo­nico. Utilizzare soltanto il cavo di colle­gamento telefonico fornito in dotazione
visto che l’apparecchio potrebbe non
funzionare con un altro cavo di collega­mento telefonico.

Montaggio a parete

Il telefono si presta altresì per il montaggio a parete. Il fissaggio
del telefono richiede due viti. Prevedere due fori con una distanza
in rispetto dei dispositivi di aggancio (100 mm) e lasciare spor­gere le viti di 5 mm dal muro. Introdurre quindi il telefono sui di­spositivi di aggancio e spingere l’apparecchio verso sotto.

Inserire le batterie

Inserire le batterie nell’apposito vano batterie (20) precedente­mente aperto.Utilizzare esclusivamente batterie alcaline del tipo
AA da 1,5 V. Osservare la corretta polarità! Chiudere il vano batte­rie.

Il display è attivo solo con batterie inserite/cariche. Non

appena sul display appare l’indicazione BAT.SCAR., si
rende necessario sostituire le batterie.

Ricevere una chiamata

Quando il telefono squilla, sollevare il ricevitore per condurre la
telefonata.

Concludere una chiamata

Per concludere la chiamata, agganciare il ricevitore.

Telefonare

Sollevare il ricevitore. Attendere l’ascolto del segnale di libero.
Selezionare il numero di chiamata desiderato utilizzando i tasti
numerici (9).

Tasto flash in impianti telefonici interni

Avendo collegato il telefono ad un impianto telefonico interno, il
tasto R (14) consente di accedere a tutte le altre funzioni disponi­bili, come per es. trasferimento di chiamata e funzione di richia­mata automatica. Si prega di leggere le istruzioni per l’uso del
proprio impianto telefonico interno. Il rivenditore autorizzato è in
grado di indicare se il telefono acquistato funzionerà senza alcun
problema nel proprio impianto telefonico interno.

Impostare il volume del ricevitore

Il volume del ricevitore è impostato tramite interruttore (16).
Spostando l’interruttore a sinistra: volume ridotto del ricevitore.
Spostando l’interruttore al centro: volume medio del ricevitore.
Spostando l’interruttore a destra: aumento del volume a +35 dB.

Attenzione: Il presente telefono è in grado di riprodurre

volumi elevati avendo attivato l’amplificatore e girato al
massimo il regolatore di volume.
È pertanto necessario procedere con particolare cau­tela in caso di passaggio del dispositivo tra utilizzatori
con udito normale e utilizzatori con udito ridotto.

Impostare il volume di squillo

Il volume di squillo è impostato tramite interruttore (17).
Spostando l’interruttore a sinistra: disattivazione del volume di

squillo.
Spostando l’interruttore al centro: squillo emesso a basso volume.
Spostando l’interruttore a destra: squillo emesso ad alto volume.

Selezione diretta

I tasti di selezione diretta M1, M2, M3 possono essere utilizzati
per impostare una normale selezione diretta o come posizioni di
memoria per chiamate d’emergenza. Tenere premuto il tasto di
selezione diretta (11) per 2 secondi. Non appena l’indicazione _"
lampeggia sul display è possibile procedere all’immissione del
numero telefonico composto da max. 22 cifre. Per confermare,
premere il tasto di ripetizione di chiamata (6). A questo punto è
possibile inserire un nome. Per cancellare eventuali immissioni
errate, servirsi del tasto reset (5).

Con il tasto cancelletto (10) è possibile inserire spazi vuoti.

Rubrica telefonica

Nella rubrica telefonica è possibile memorizzare 30 numeri di
chiamata con rispettivi nomi.

 Assegnare sempre a tutti i numeri di chiamata un prefisso in

modo da poter riconoscere anche una chiamata urbana in arrivo
ed abbinarla ad una voce presente nella rubrica telefonica.

 Una volta esaurita la capacità di memorizzazione, sul display

appare l’indicazione −−−−−100%" non appena si volesse
procedere con un’ulteriore immissione. Per poter disporre di
nuovo spazio memoria, cancellare prima una voce già presente.

Inserire numeri di chiamata/nomi nella rubrica telefonica

I tasti numerici riportano altresì delle lettere. Premendo ripetuta­mente il relativo tasto si ha modo di selezionare lettere, cifre e ca­ratteri speciali.

Sollevare il ricevitore e tenere premuto il tasto rubrica
telefonica (3) per 2 secondi. Non appena l’indicazione _"
lampeggia sul display è possibile procedere all’immissione del
numero di chiamata composto da max. 22 cifre. Premendo il tasto
di ripetizione di chiamata il numero di chiamata inserito è
confermato. Fatto questo è possibile procedere all’immissione del
rispettivo nome. Premendo di nuovo il tasto di ripetizione di
chiamata (6) la voce inserita è confermata. Per cancellare
eventuali immissioni errate, servirsi del tasto reset (5).

Con il tasto cancelletto (10) è possibile inserire spazi vuoti.

Modificare numeri di chiamata/nomi nella rubrica telefonica

Per modificare una voce della rubrica telefonica, cercare il nome
interessato e tenere quindi premuto il tasto rubrica telefonica (3).
Fatto questo è possibile procedere alla modifica della voce.

Selezionare numeri di chiamata dalla rubrica telefonica

Per fare questo è necessario aver memorizzato i numeri di chia­mata nella rubrica telefonica.

Sollevare il ricevitore. Premere il tasto rubrica telefonica (3) e
cercare con il tasto impostazione (2) il nome interessato insieme
al numero di chiamata. Premere il tasto rubrica telefonica (3).

Cancellare numeri di chiamata dalla rubrica telefonica

La funzione consente di cancellare un numero di chiamata dalla
rubrica telefonica.

Premere il tasto rubrica telefonica (3) sul ricevitore del telefono e
passare con il tasto impostazione (2) sul numero che si intende
cancellare. Tenere quindi premuto il tasto reset (5) per 2 secondi.
La voce della rubrica telefonica selezionata è cancellata.

Elenco chiamate

L’elenco chiamate memorizza i numeri di chiamata di tutte le chia­mate ricevute, mancate ed effettuate.

L’elenco chiamate è in grado di memorizzare 15 numeri di chia­mata composti da 9 caratteri, compresa la data della telefonata.

Con funzione LED ON" (vedi Struttura menu) selezionata, le
nuove chiamate mancate sono segnalate da un LED che lampeg­gia.

Con elenco chiamate pieno, la voce più remota è automatica­mente sovrascritta.

Attenzione: La visualizzazione del numero di chiamata

(CLIP

) è un servizio addizionale del proprio gestore di
rete telefonica. Nel caso in cui il gestore di rete telefonica
supporti il servizio, sul display del telefono è visualizzato
il numero di chiamata. Per maggiori dettagli a riguardo,
rivolgersi al proprio gestore di rete telefonica.

Selezionare i numeri di chiamata dall’elenco chiamate

Selezionare con ricevitore agganciato il numero di chiamata desi­derato utilizzando il tasto di ripetizione di chiamata (6)/tasto impo­stazione (2). Sollevare il ricevitore. Il numero di chiamata è sele­zionato.

Cancellare numeri di chiamata dall’elenco chiamate

Selezionare il numero di chiamata desiderato dall’elenco chia­mate.

Tenere premuto il tasto reset (5) per 2 secondi per cancellare la
voce dall’elenco chiamate.

Salvare numeri di chiamata dall’elenco chiamate nella

rubrica telefonica

I numeri di chiamata memorizzati nell’elenco chiamate possono
essere trasferiti nella rubrica telefonica.

Sollevare il ricevitore. Poggiare un dito sul contatto di riaggancio.
Tenere premuto il contatto di riaggancio (8) durante l’immissione.
Selezionare il numero di chiamata desiderato dall’elenco chia­mate. Tenere premuto il tasto asterisco per 2 secondi. La prima ci­fra del numero di chiamata lampeggia. Premere il tasto di ripeti­zione di chiamata (6). Inserire il nome con i tasti

Garanzia

Gli apparecchi SWITEL sono costruiti e collaudati in osservanza
dei processi di produzione più moderni. L’impiego di materiali

selezionati e tecnologie altamente sviluppate sono garanti di una
perfetta funzionalità e lunga durata in vita. La garanzia non viene
considerata esecutiva qualora la causa del malfunzionamento
dell’apparecchio sia riconducibile al gestore della rete telefonica
oppure se questa è da attribuirsi ad un impianto telefonico interno
interposto. La garanzia non si estende a batterie, accumulatori o
pacchi batteria utilizzati all’interno degli apparecchi. Il periodo di
garanzia ricopre 24 mesi a partire dalla data di acquisto.

Entro il periodo di garanzia si procederà all’eliminazione gratuita
di tutti i guasti dovuti a difetti di materiale o produzione. Il diritto di

Intended use

The telephone is suitable for telephoning within a public tele­phone network system. Any other use is considered unintended
use. Unauthorised modification or reconstruction is not permitted.
Under no circumstances open the device or complete any repair
work yourself.

Installation location

Prevent excessive exposure to smoke, dust, vibration, chemicals,
moisture, heat and direct sunlight.

Disposal

You are legally obliged to dispose of consumable
goods according to the applicable regulations. The
adjacent symbol on the telephone indicates that
electrical and electronic apparatus and batteries no
longer required must be disposed of separate from
domestic waste.

Electrical and electronic devices must be dispo­sed of at a suitable collection point provided by the
public waste authorities.

Packaging materials must be disposed of according to
local regulations.

2 Preparing the Telephone

Connecting the telephone

Connect the helix cable at positions 12
(refer to following page). Only use the
helix cable supplied because the
equipment may not function if another
helix cable is used.

Connect the phone (19) to the tele­phone connection socket using the te­lephone connection line. Only use the
telephone connection line supplied be­cause the equipment may not function
if another telephone connection line is
used.

Wall mounting

The telephone can also be installed on a wall. You require two
screws in order to fix the telephone on a wall. Drill two holes at a
distance corresponding to the slots (100 mm apart) and insert the
screws leaving approx. 5 mm projecting from the wall. Align the
slots in the telephone to the screws, fit the screws in the slots and
slide the telephone downwards a little.

Inserting batteries

Insert the batteries in the open battery compartment (20). Only
use batteries of the type AA Alkaline 1.5 V. Pay attention to correct
polarity. Close the battery compartment cover.

The display is only active when batteries have been in-

serted. If the BATT. LOW message appears in the dis­play, change the batteries.

Taking a call

When the phone rings, lift the receiver and take the call.

Ending a call (on−hook)

Replace the receiver to end the call.

Making a call

Lift the receiver. Wait until you hear the dialling tone. Dial the
required phone number using the digit keys (9).

Flash button on private branch exchanges

If the telephone is connected to a private branch exchange, func­tions such as transferring calls and automatic call back can be
used via the R button (14). Please refer to the manual supplied
with your private branch exchange. The sales outlet where you
purchased the exchange can provide information as to whether
the telephone will work properly with the exchange.

Setting the receiver volume

The receiver volume is adjusted using a switch (16).
Slide the switch to the left: Low receiver volume.
Slide the switch to the middle: Medium receiver volume.
Slide the switch to the right: Amplification to +35 dB.

Attention: This phone is capable of providing extremely

loud volumes when the amplifier is activated and the vo­lume control is set to maximum.
The utmost caution is necessary when the phone is used
jointly by people with normal hearing and other with im­paired hearing.

Setting the ringing volume

The ringing volume is adjusted using a switch (17).
Slide the switch to the left: Ringing volume off.
Slide the switch to the middle: Medium ringing volume.
Slide the switch to the right: High ringing volume.

One−touch dialling

You can use the one−touch dialling buttons M1, M2, M3 as
standard quick dial buttons or as memory locations for emergency
calls. Press and hold the one−touch dialling button (11) for 2
seconds. When _" flashes in the display, you can enter a

Phone book

You can use the phone book to store up to 30 phone numbers to­gether with the associated names.

 Always enter the area access code with the phone numbers so

that incoming local calls can also be assigned to a phone book
entry.

 When the memory capacity is used up, the message −−−−−100%"

appears in the display. To create space, an existing entry must
first be deleted.

Entering phone numbers/names in the phone book

Letters are also imprinted on the digit keys. Letters, digits and
special characters are entered by pressing the relevant key the
respective number of times.

Lift the receiver then press and hold the Phone Book button (3) for
2 seconds. When _" flashes in the display, you can enter a phone

number with a maximum of 22 digits. Press the Redialling button
to confirm the phone number entered. You can then enter the
corresponding name. Press the Redialling button (6) again to
confirm the name entered. Correct incorrect entries by pressing
the Delete button (5).

Press the Hash button (10) to enter a space.

Editing phone numbers/names in the phone book

To edit a phone book entry, search for the required name, then
press and hold the Phone Book button (3). The entry can then be
modified.

Dialling phone numbers stored in the phone book

There must be phone numbers stored in the phone book.
Lift the receiver. Press the Phone Book button (3) and use the

Adjust Setting button (2) to search for the name and phone
number required. Press the Phone Book button (3) again to dial
the selected number.

Deleting phone numbers stored in the phone book

You can delete phone numbers stored in the phone book.
Press the Phone Book button (3) on the receiver and use the Ad-

just Setting button (2) to access the number you want to delete.
Press and hold the Delete button (5) for 2 seconds. The corres­ponding phone book entry is deleted.

Call list

The call list stores the phone numbers of all the calls taken, mis­sed and dialled.

A total of 15 phone numbers, each with 9 characters, are stored in
the call list together with the date of the call.

If the LED ON" function is selected (refer to Menu Structure), new
calls missed are indicated by the LED flashing.

If the call list is full, the oldest entry in the list is automatically over­written.

Attention: The caller number display (CLIP

) is a sup­plementary service offered by your telephone network
provider. The caller’s number appears in the display if
the service is offered by your telephone network provi­der. Contact your network provider for further informa­tion.

Dialling phone numbers from the call list / redial list

With the receiver placed on−hook, use the Redialling button (6) to
select the required phone number. Lift the receiver. The phone
number is dialled.

Deleting phone numbers from the call list / redial list

Select the phone number required from the call list. Press and
hold the Delete button (5) for 2 seconds to delete the entry from
the call list.

Storing a phone number in the call list in the phone book

Phone numbers in the call list can be stored in the phone book.
Lift the receiver. Press the on−hook contact with your finger. Keep

the on−hook contact (8) pressed while making the entries. Select
the phone number required from the call list. Press and hold the
Star button for 2 seconds.

The first digit of the phone number flashes. Press the Redialling
button (6). Enter the name using the keys

button (6) again to confirm the entry. OK" flashes in the display.

No telephone calls possible

− The telephone line is not con-

nected properly or is defec­tive. Only use the telephone
connection cable supplied.

6 Maintenance / Guarantee

Maintenance

 Clean the housing surfaces with a soft, fluff−free cloth.
 Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents.

Guarantee

SWITEL equipment is produced and tested according to the latest
production methods. The implementation of carefully chosen

materials and highly developed technologies ensure trouble−free
functioning and a long service life. The terms of guarantee do not
apply where the cause of equipment malfunction is the fault of the
telephone network operator or any interposed private branch
extension system. The terms of guarantee do not apply to the
batteries or power packs used in the products. The period of
guarantee is 24 months from the date of purchase.

All deficiencies related to material or manufacturing errors within
the period of guarantee will be redressed free of charge. Rights to
claims under the terms of guarantee are annulled following
tampering by the purchaser or third parties. Damage caused as
the result of improper handling or operation, normal wear and
tear, incorrect positioning or storage, improper connection or
installation or Acts of God and other external influences are
excluded from the terms of guarantee. In the case of complaints,
we reserve the right to repair defect parts, replace them or replace
the entire device. Replaced parts or devices become our property.
Rights to compensation in the case of damage are excluded
where there is no evidence of intent or gross negligence by the
manufacturer.

If your device does show signs of a defect within the period of
guarantee, please contact the sales outlet where you purchased

the SWITEL device, producing the purchase receipt as evidence.
All claims under the terms of guarantee in accordance with this

agreement can only be asserted at the sales outlet. No claims
under the terms of guarantee can be asserted after a period of
two years from the date of purchase and hand−over of the product.
