Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Dieses Telefon ist geeignet für das Telefonieren innerhalb eines Tele­fonnetzes. Jede andere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß.
Eigenmächtige Veränderungen oder Umbauten sind nicht zulässig. Öff­nen Sie das Gerät in keinem Fall selbst und führen Sie keine eigenen
Reparaturversuche durch.

Aufstellungsort

Vermeiden Sie Belastungen durch Rauch, Staub, Erschütterungen,
Chemikalien, Feuchtigkeit, Hitze oder direkte Sonneneinstrahlung.

Hörgeräte kompatibel

Das Telefon ist mit den meisten am Markt befindlichen Hörgeräten kom­patibel. Eine einwandfreie Funktion mit jedem Hörgerät kann jedoch
nicht garantiert werden.

Entsorgung

Wollen Sie Ihr Gerät entsorgen, bringen Sie es zur Sammelstelle
Ihres kommunalen Entsorgungsträgers (z. B. Wertstoffhof). Nach
dem Elektro− und Elektronikgerätegesetz sind Besitzer von Altge­räten gesetzlich verpflichtet, alte Elektro− und Elektronikgeräte
einer getrennten Abfallerfassung zuzuführen. Das nebenste­hende Symbol bedeutet, dass Sie das Gerät auf keinen Fall in
den Hausmüll werfen dürfen!

2 Telefon in Betrieb nehmen

Sicherheitshinweise

Achtung: Lesen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme unbedingt

die Sicherheitshinweise in Kapitel 1.

Verpackungsinhalt prüfen

Zum Lieferumfang gehören:

− ein Telefon − ein Telefonhörer

− ein Telefonanschlusskabel − ein Spiralkabel

− eine Tischstütze − eine Bedienungsanleitung

− drei Batterien Typ AA 1,5 V Alkaline

Telefonhörer anschließen

Stecken Sie ein Ende des Spiralkabels in die Buchse am unteren Ende
des Hörers. Anschließend stecken Sie das andere Ende in die Buchse
an der linken Seite des Telefons.

Batterien einlegen

Bevor Sie das Telefon mit dem Telefonnetz verbinden, müssen die Bat­terien polrichtig eingelegt werden. Bitte benutzen Sie immer Batterien
des Typs AA 1,5 V Alkaline.

Achten Sie darauf, dass das Telefon nicht mit dem Tele-

Verbinden Sie das beiliegende Telefonanschlusskabel mit der Telefon­steckdose und der Telefonbuchse auf der Rückseite des Telefons.

Tischstütze anbringen

Möchten Sie das Telefon auf einen Tisch stellen, muss die mitgelieferte
Tischstütze montiert werden. Stecken Sie die beiden Laschen in die da­für vorgesehenen Öffnungen auf der Rückseite.

Bedienelemente

Wandmontage

Ihr Telefon ist zur Wandmontage geeignet. Benutzen Sie zur Befesti­gung zwei Schrauben. Bohren Sie zwei Löcher im Abstand von 67 mm
waagerecht nebeneinander und lassen Sie die Schrauben 5 mm aus
der Wand herausstehen. Die Tischstütze wird bei der Wandmontage
nicht benötigt. Stecken Sie nun die Aufhängungen des Telefons auf die
Schrauben und schieben Sie es etwas nach unten.

Warnung: Im Bereich der zu bohrenden Löcher dürfen

sich keine Leitungen (Kabel, Rohre usw.) befinden.

Damit der Hörer im aufgelegten Zustand nicht herunterfällt, gibt es in
der Hörerablage eine kleine Höreraufhängung. Drehen Sie die
Höreraufhängung in der Telefonhörerablage um 180°, damit Sie den
Telefonhörer einhängen können.

In das Hauptmenü gelangen Sie, wenn Sie die Taste S
drücken. Danach wählen Sie mit den Tasten y / z einen Eintrag
aus und bestätigen Ihre Auswahl mit der Taste S. Mit den Tasten
y / z nehmen Sie Einstellungen vor. Taste S bestätigt Ihre
Einstellungen. Mit der Taste D brechen Sie den Vorgang ab.

Die Einstellung einer Call−by−Call Nummer im Menü SEt

5 IP bewirkt, dass beim Zurückrufen einer Nummer aus
der eingehenden Anrufliste die mit 0 beginnt, automatisch
die Call−by−Call Nummer vorgewählt wird. Beachten Sie
bei dieser Einstellung, dass die Preise von Call−by−Call
Nummern täglich stark variieren können.

7 Nebenstellenanlagen / Zusatzdienste

F−Taste an Nebenstellenanlagen

Ist Ihr Telefon an einer Nebenstellenanlage angeschlossen, können Sie
über die F−Taste Funktionen, wie z. B. Anrufe weiterleiten und au-
tomatischen Rückruf, nutzen. Ob Ihr Telefon an Ihrer Nebenstellenan­lage einwandfrei funktioniert, erfahren Sie bei dem Händler, bei dem die
Anlage gekauft wurde.

Wahlpause

Bei Nebenstellenanlagen ist es erforderlich, eine Amtskennzahl vorzu­wählen, um ein Freizeichen zu bekommen. Bei wenigen, älteren Neben­stellenanlagen dauert es einige Zeit, bis das Freizeichen zu hören ist.
Für diese Nebenstellenanlagen kann nach der Amtskennzahl eine
Wahlpause eingefügt werden, um direkt weiter wählen zu können, ohne
das Freizeichen abzuwarten.

P Wahlpause einfügen

Nach der Amtskennzahl wartet Ihr Telefon für ca. 3 Sekunden mit dem
Wählen der eigentlichen Rufnummer.

F−Taste und Zusatzdienste

Ihr Telefon unterstützt Zusatzdienste Ihres Netzbetreibers, wie z. B. Ma­keln, Anklopfen und Konferenz. Über die F−Taste können Sie diese
Zusatzdienste nutzen. Zur Freischaltung von Zusatzdiensten wenden
Sie sich bitte an Ihren Netzbetreiber.

Rufnummernanzeige (CLIP1)

Wenn diese Funktion an Ihrer Telefonleitung zur Verfügung steht, wird
Ihnen bereits die Rufnummer des Anrufers angezeigt, wenn das Telefon
klingelt. Hat der Anrufer das Übertragen seiner Rufnummer unterdrückt,
wird eine entsprechende Meldung angezeigt. Die Rufnummer kann
nicht angezeigt und somit auch nicht in der Anrufliste gespeichert wer­den.

Die Rufnummernanzeige ist ein optionaler Service Ihres

Netzbetreibers. Fragen Sie Ihren Netzbetreiber nach wei­teren Informationen.

Pflegehinweise

 Reinigen Sie die Gehäuseoberflächen mit einem weichen und

fusselfreien Tuch.

 Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungs− oder Lösungsmittel.

Garantie

SWITEL − Geräte werden nach den modernsten Produktionsverfahren
hergestellt und geprüft. Ausgesuchte Materialien und hoch entwickelte
Technologien sorgen für einwandfreie Funktion und lange Lebensdauer.
Ein Garantiefall liegt nicht vor, wenn die Ursache einer Fehlfunktion des
Geräts bei dem Telefonnetzbetreiber oder einer eventuell
zwischengeschalteten Nebenstellenanlage liegt. Die Garantie gilt nicht
für die in den Produkten verwendeten Batterien, Akkus oder Akkupacks.
Die Garantiezeit beträgt 24 Monate, gerechnet vom Tage des Kaufs.

− Die Telefonleitung ist nicht kor­rekt angeschlossen oder ge­stört. Verwenden Sie nur das
mitgelieferte Telefonanschluss−

Innerhalb der Garantiezeit werden alle Mängel, die auf Material− oder
Herstellungsfehler zurückzuführen sind, kostenlos beseitigt. Der

Utilisation conforme à son usage

Ce téléphone convient pour téléphoner à l’intérieur d’un réseau télépho­nique. Toute autre utilisation est considérée comme non conforme à son
usage. Des modifications ou changements effectués d’un propre gré ne
sont pas autorisés. N’ouvrez en aucun cas l’appareil et n’effectuez au­cun essai de réparation vous−même.

Lieu d’installation

Évitez les nuisances causées par la fumée, la poussière, les vibrations,
les produits chimiques, l’humidité, la grande chaleur ou un ensoleille­ment direct.

Compatible avec prothèse auditive

Ce téléphone est compatible avec la plupart des prothèses auditives en
vente sur le marché. Cependant, un fonctionnement irréprochable ne
peut être garanti pour chacune d’entre elles.

Élimination

Si vous voulez vous séparer de votre appareil, veuillez l’apporter
au centre de collecte de l’organisme d’élimination des déchets
de votre commune (par ex. centre de recyclage). D’après la loi
relative aux appareils électriques et électroniques, les propriétai­res d’appareils usagés sont tenus de mettre tous les appareils
électriques et électroniques usagés dans un collecteur séparé.
L’icône ci−contre signifie que vous ne devez en aucun cas jeter

Mise en danger de l’homme et l’environnement cau­sée par les piles rechargeables et les piles !

Ne jamais ouvrir, endommager, avaler les piles rechargeables et les pi­les ou ne jamais faire pénétrer leur contenu dans l’environnement. Elles
peuvent contenir des métaux lourds toxiques et nuisibles pour l’environ­nement. Vous êtes dans l’obligation légale d’éliminer vos piles rechar­geables et piles auprès d’un revendeur de piles ainsi qu’auprès de cen­tres de collecte responsables de leur élimination, qui mettent des
conteneurs adéquats à disposition. L’élimination des piles est gratuite.
L’icône ci−contre signifie que vous ne devez en aucun cas jeter les piles

2 Mettre le téléphone en service

Remarques concernant la sécurité

Attention : Avant de mettre votre appareil en service, li-

sez impérativement les consignes de sécurité men­tionnées au chapitre 1.

Vérifier le contenu de l’emballage

Les éléments suivants font partie du contenu :

− un téléphone − un écouteur

− un câble de raccordement
téléphonique

− un support de table − un mode d’emploi

− trois piles alcalines de type AA 1,5 V

Raccorder l’écouteur

Introduisez une extrémité du câble spiralé dans la prise située en bas
de l’écouteur. Ensuite, enfichez l’autre extrémité dans la prise située sur
le côté gauche du téléphone.

Introduire les piles

Avant de raccorder votre téléphone au réseau téléphonique, vous devez
avoir introduit les piles en faisant attention à la la polarité correcte.
Veuillez toujours utiliser des piles alcalines du type AA /1,5V.

Avant de placer ou de remplacer les piles, veillez à ce que

le téléphone ne soit pas relié au réseau téléphonique.

Raccorder le téléphone

Raccordez le câble de raccordement téléphonique faisant partie de la li­vraison à la prise téléphonique et à la douille téléphonique située à l’ar­rière du téléphone.

Mettre le téléphone en service

Monter le support de table

Si vous utilisez le téléphone sur une table, montez le support de table
fourni avec l’appareil. Introduisez les deux languettes dans les orifices
situés à l’arrière prévus à cet effet.

Montage mural

Votre téléphone est conçu pour le montage mural. Utilisez deux vis pour
le fixer. Percez deux trous l’un à côté de l’autre à une distance de
67 mm et faites dépasser les vis du mur de 5mm. Vous n’avez pas be­soin du support pour le montage mural. Fixez maintenant les encoches
du téléphone sur les vis et poussez−le légèrement vers le bas.

Avertissement : Il ne doit pas se trouver de conduites

(câbles, tuyaux etc.) dans la zone de perforation des
trous.

Le récepteur du combiné est muni d’un petit dispositif de suspension
pour éviter à celui−ci de tomber lorsqu’il est raccroché. Tournez la
suspension du combiné de 180° dans le logement du combiné afin de
pouvoir accrocher ce dernier.

F Touche Flash sur les installations PABX

Si votre téléphone est raccordé à une installation à PABX, vous pouvez,
au moyen de la touche F, tirer profit de certaines fonctions comme
par ex. le transfert d’appels et le rappel automatique. Le revendeur au­près duquel vous avez acheté l’installation vous dira si votre téléphone
fonctionne parfaitement sur votre installation PABX.

Pause de numérotation

Dans le cas d’installations PABX, il est nécessaire de composer aupara­vant un code réseau pour obtenir la tonalité. Sur quelques installations
à postes supplémentaires plus anciennes, vous devez attendre quel­ques instants avant de pouvoir entendre la tonalité. Pour ces installa­tions à PABX, une pause de numérotation peut être insérée après le
code réseau afin de pouvoir continuer à numéroter directement sans at­tendre la tonalité.

Si cette fonction est disponible sur votre ligne téléphonique, le numéro
d’appel du correspondant vous sera affiché dès que le téléphone son­nera. Si votre correspondant a bloqué la transmission de son numéro,
un message correspondant sera affiché. Le numéro d’appel ne peut pas
être affiché et ainsi ne peut pas non plus être sauvegardé dans la liste
d’appels.

L’affichage du numéro d’appel est un service optionnel de

Garantie

Les appareils SWITEL sont fabriqués et contrôlés selon les procédés
les plus modernes. Des matériaux sélectionnés et des technologies de
pointe ont pour effet un fonctionnement irréprochable et une longue
durée de vie. La garantie ne rentre pas en jeu si l’exploitant du réseau
téléphonique ou une installation PABX éventuellement intercalée est
responsable du dysfonctionnement de l’appareil. La garantie ne
s’applique pas aux piles, piles rechargeables ou packs de piles
rechargeables utilisés dans les produits. La durée de la garantie est de
24 mois à partir de la date d’achat.

Pendant la période de garantie, tous les défauts dus à des vices de
matériel ou de fabrication seront éliminés gratuitement. Le droit à la

Impiego conforme agli usi previsti

Il presente telefono consente di svolgere telefonate all’interno di una
rete telefonica. Qualsiasi altro impiego è considerato come non con­forme agli usi previsti. Non sono consentite modifiche o trasformazioni
non autorizzate. Non aprire per nessuna ragione l’apparecchio autono­mamente, né compiere riparazioni di propria iniziativa.

Luogo di installazione

Evitare un’esposizione a fumo, polvere, vibrazioni, sostanze chimiche,
umidità, calore e raggi solari diretti.

Compatibilità con apparecchi acustici

Il telefono è compatibile con il maggior numero di apparecchi acustici
presenti sul mercato. Ciò nonostante non è possibile garantire un per­fetto funzionamento con qualsiasi tipo di apparecchio acustico.

Smaltimento

Procedere allo smaltimento dell’apparecchio esaurito conse­gnandolo presso uno dei punti di raccolta istituiti dalla propria so­cietà di smaltimento rifiuti comunale (ad es. centro di riciclo mate­riali). Secondo quanto previsto dalla legge sugli apparecchi
elettrici ed elettronici, i proprietari di apparecchi esauriti sono per
legge tenuti alla consegna di tutti gli apparecchi elettrici ed
elettronici presso un centro di rilievo rifiuti in raccolta differen­ziata. Il simbolo riportato qui a lato indica che non è assoluta­mente consentito smaltire l’apparecchio assieme ai normali rifiuti

Accumulatori e batterie possono provocare danni

Non aprire, danneggiare, ingerire o disperdere nell’ambiente accumula­tori e batterie. Questi possono contenere metalli pesanti nocivi e dan­nosi per l’ambiente. Per legge sussiste l’obbligo di consegnare accumu­latori e batterie presso i rivenditori di batterie utilizzando gli appositi

Attenzione: Prima della messa in funzione, leggere at-

tentamente le indicazioni di sicurezza riportate al capi­tolo 1.

Verificare il contenuto della confezione

La confezione contiene:

− un telefono − un ricevitore

− un cavo di collega­mento telefonico

− un supporto da tavolo − un manuale di istruzioni per l’uso

− tre batterie alcaline tipo AA da 1,5 V

Collegare il ricevitore

Introdurre una delle estremità del cavo a spirale nella presa presente in
basso al ricevitore. Inserire quindi l’altra estremità nella presa di lato a
sinistra del telefono.

Inserire le batterie

Prima di collegare il telefono con la rete telefonica è necessario inserire
le batterie collegandole con la polarità corretta. Si consiglia di utiliz-
zare sempre batterie alcaline tipo AA da 1,5 V.

Fare attenzione a scollegare il telefono dalla rete telefo-

nica in caso di inserimento o sostituzione delle batterie.

Collegare il telefono

Collegare il cavo di collegamento telefonico fornito con il jack telefonico
e la presa telefonica presente sul retro del telefono.

Montare il supporto da tavolo

Volendo adoperare il telefono da un tavolo si renderà necessario mon­tare prima l’apposito supporto da tavolo fornito in dotazione. Introdurre
le due linguette nelle rispettive aperture sul retro dell’apparecchio.

Montaggio a parete

Il telefono si presta altresì per il montaggio a parete. Utilizzare in tal
caso due viti. Prevedere due fori disposti orizzontalmente con una di­stanza di 67 mm tra loro e lasciare sporgere le viti di 5 mm dal muro. Il
supporto da tavolo non è necessario in caso di montaggio a parete.
Poggiare quindi i dispositivi di aggancio del telefono sulle viti e spingere
l’apparecchio verso sotto.

Avvertenza: È necessario sincerarsi che nel settore in

cui è prevista la trapanatura dei fori non vi siano linee
e condutture (cavi, tubi e così via).

In modo da impedire al ricevitore agganciato di staccarsi dal telefono e
cadere, ecco che il supporto del ricevitore è dotato di un apposito dispo­sitivo di fermo. Girare il dispositivo di aggancio ricevitore sulla superficie
di appoggio del ricevitore di 180° in modo da potervi agganciare il
ricevitore.

Tasto F in impianti telefonici interni

Avendo collegato il telefono ad un impianto telefonico interno, il tasto
F consente di accedere a tutte le altre funzioni disponibili, come ad
es. trasferimento di chiamata e funzione di richiamata automatica. Il ri­venditore autorizzato è in grado di indicare se il telefono acquistato fun­zionerà senza alcun problema nel proprio impianto telefonico interno.

Pausa di selezione

In presenza di impianti telefonici interni è necessario preselezionare un
numero di accesso alla rete esterna per ottenere un segnale di linea li­bera prima di poter compiere una telefonata. Alcuni impianti telefonici
interni di vecchia data richiedono un intervallo di tempo di poco supe­riore prima di trasmettere un segnale di libero. In particolare, proprio per
questi impianti telefonici interni è possibile prevedere, dopo aver inserito
il numero di accesso alla rete esterna, una pausa di selezione che con­sente di comporre il numero di chiamata desiderato senza dover neces­sariamente attendere il segnale di libero.

Dopo aver selezionato il numero di accesso alla rete esterna, il telefono
attende ca. 3 secondi prima di procedere alla selezione del numero di
chiamata vero e proprio.

Tasto F e servizi addizionali

Il telefono supporta servizi addizionali messi a disposizione dal proprio
gestore di rete telefonica come ad es. le funzioni di chiamata in attesa,
avviso di chiamata e chiamata a conferenza. Il tasto F consente di
accedere a questi servizi addizionali. Rivolgersi al proprio gestore di
rete telefonica per ottenere l’abilitazione ai servizi addizionali.

A condizione che il collegamento telefonico disponga di questa fun­zione, l’apparecchio visualizza il numero telefonico del chiamante non
appena il telefono squilla. Nel caso in cui il chiamante abbia soppresso

Intended use

The telephone is suitable for telephoning within a public telephone net­work system. Any other use is considered unintended use. Unauthori­sed modification or reconstruction is not permitted. Under no circum­stances open the device or complete any repair work yourself.

Installation location

Prevent excessive exposure to smoke, dust, vibration, chemicals, moi­sture, heat and direct sunlight.

Hearing aid compatible

The telephone is compatible with most popular hearing aids on the mar­ket. However, it cannot be guaranteed that all hearing aids will work per­fectly.

Disposal

In order to dispose of your device, take it to a collection point pro­vided by your local public waste authorities (e.g. recycling cen­tre). According to laws on the disposal of electronic and electrical
devices, owners are obliged to dispose of old electronic and
electrical devices in a separate waste container. The adjacent
symbol indicates that the device must not be disposed of in nor­mal domestic waste!

Batteries represent a hazard to health and the
environment!

Never open, damage or swallow batteries or allow them to pollute the
environment. They may contain toxic, ecologically hazardous heavy me­tals. You are legally obliged to dispose of power packs and batteries at
the point of sale or in the corresponding containers provided at collec­tion points by local public waste authorities. Disposal is free of charge.

Safety information

Attention: It is essential to read the Safety Information in

Chapter 1 before starting up.

Checking the package contents

The package contains:

− a telephone − a receiver

− a telephone connection
cable

− a tabletop support − an operating manual

− three batteries, AA 1.5 V alkaline

Connecting the receiver

Plug one end of the helix cable in the socket on the bottom end of the
receiver. Then plug the other end in the socket on the left−hand side of
the telephone.

Inserting the batteries

Insert the batteries before connecting the telephone to the telephone
network, paying careful attention to correct polarity.
Always use AA 1.5 V alkaline batteries.

Prior to inserting or replacing the batteries, ensure that the

telephone is disconnected from the telephone network.

Connecting the telephone

Connect the telephone connection cable enclosed to the telephone line
socket and the telephone socket on the rear of the telephone.

Mounting the tabletop support

If you want to have the telephone on a table, you must mount the table­top support supplied. Insert the two clips in the slots provided for them
on the rear side.

Wall installation

The telephone can also be installed on a wall. Use two screws for the
necessary fixation. Drill two holes 67 mm apart and horizontal to each
other and insert the screws leaving approx. 5 mm projecting from the
wall. The tabletop support is not required for wall installation. Attach the
base unit by hooking it in the two screws protruding from the wall and
pushing it down a bit.

Warning: Ensure that there are no lines (cables or pipes et

wall where you want to drill the holes.

In order that the receiver does not fall when placed on−hook, the recei­ver cradle is equipped with a small receiver hook. Turn the receiver
hook in the receiver cradle 180° so that the receiver can be hooked in.

Press the S button to open the main menu. Then use the y /
z buttons to select an entry and confirm it by pressing the S
button. Use the y / z buttons to define the settings. Press the

F button on private branch exchanges

If the telephone is connected to a private branch exchange, functions
such as transferring calls and automatic call back can be used via the
F button. The sales outlet where you purchased the exchange can
provide information as to whether the telephone will work properly with
the exchange.

Dialling pause

When using private branch exchanges, it is necessary to dial an access
code to obtain the dialling tone for an outside line. When using some ol­der private branch exchanges, it takes a little time before the dialling
tone becomes audible. In the case of such private branch exchanges, a
dialling pause can be inserted after the number for an outside line in or­der to continue dialling directly without having to wait for the dialling
tone.

After dialling the number for the outside line, the telephone waits ap­prox. 3 seconds before dialling the actual phone number.

F button and supplementary services

Your telephone supports supplementary services provided by your tele­phone network provider, such as brokering, call waiting and conference
facilities. These supplementary services can be used by implementing
the F button. Also contact your telephone network provider with re­gard to enabling supplementary services.

Caller number display (CLIP1)

If this function is available with your telephone line, the number of the
caller appears in the display when the phone rings. If the caller has sup­pressed transmission of his phone number, the corresponding message
appears in the display. The phone number is not displayed and, as a re­sult, is not stored in the call list.
