Das Swissvoice CP110 ist ein Telefon zum Anschluss an das analoge Telefonnetz oder
an analoge Nebenstellen von Telefonanlagen und Internettelefonie-Adaptern.
Nehmen Sie sich etwas Zeit, um diese Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam zu lesen und

Mit dem Swissvoice CP110 haben Sie ein Telefon für den Anschluss an das analoge
Telefonnetz oder an analoge Nebenstellen von Telefonanlagen und InternettelefonieAdaptern erworben. Bitte lesen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes die Bedienungsanleitung. Bei Betrieb an einer Nebenstellenanlage beachten Sie bitte die Bedienungsanleitung der Telefonanlage.
Dieses Produkt kann in allen EU-Mitgliedsstaaten an einem analogen Telefonanschluss betrieben werden.
Das CE-Zeichen auf dem Produkt bestätigt seine Konformität zu den technischen
Richtlinien zur Benutzersicherheit und elektromagnetischen Verträglichkeit.

Sicherheitshinweise
• Lesen Sie bitte die Bedienungsanleitung und bewahren Sie diese auf.
• Öffnen Sie nicht das Gerät.
• Vermeiden Sie, dass das Gerät direkter Sonnenbestrahlung oder anderen Wärmequellen ausgesetzt ist.
• Installieren und benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in explosionsgefährdeten Räumen.
• Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Nässe, starkem Staub, aggressiven Flüssigkeiten und
Dämpfen.
• Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht elektromagnetischen Feldern (Elektromotoren, Haushaltsgeräten) aus. Die Sprachqualität könnte beeinträchtigt werden.
Vermeiden Sie einen Standort in unmittelbarer Nähe von Radio-, TV- und Videogeräten.
• Schließen Sie das Anschlusskabel des Gerätes nur an die dafür bestimmte Telefonsteckdose an.
• Telefonieren Sie nie in der unmittelbaren Nähe von Wasser.
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten oder antistatischen
Tuch.
• Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen keine Reinigungsmittel und keine chemischen Substanzen.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur im Temperaturbereich von + 5 °C bis ca. + 35 °C.

Ihr Telefon wird für normale Gebrauchsbedingungen gefertigt. Die heutigen Möbel sind
mit einer unübersehbaren Vielfalt von Lacken und Kunststoffen beschichtet und werden mit unterschiedlichsten Pflegemitteln behandelt. Es ist daher nicht auszuschließen, dass manche dieser Stoffe Bestandteile enthalten, die die Kunststofffüße des
Telefons angreifen und erweichen. Die so durch Fremdstoffe veränderten Gerätefüße
können u. U. auf der Oberfläche der Möbel unliebsame Spuren hinterlassen.
Der Hersteller kann aus verständlichen Gründen für diese Schäden nicht haften. Verwenden Sie daher bitte - besonders bei neuen oder mit Lackpflegemitteln aufgefrischten Möbeln - für Ihr Telefon eine rutschfeste Unterlage.
Entsorgungshinweis (Umweltschutz)
Am Ende der Lebensdauer des Produkts darf dieses Produkt nicht mit dem normalen
Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Geben Sie es bei einer Sammelstelle für die Aufbereitung
von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten ab. Das Symbol am Produkt, in der
Gebrauchsanweisung und/oder Verpackung weist Sie darauf hin.
Mit der Wiederverwertung einiger Teile oder Rohmaterialien aus gebrauchten Produkten liefern Sie einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Umweltschutz.

Batterien-/Akku-Entsorgung
Für alle verbrauchten Batterien und Akkus besteht eine gesetzliche Rückgabepflicht;
sie dürfen nicht über den Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Entsorgen Sie die Batterien/
Akkus entsprechend den behördlichen Auflagen. Führen Sie sie der Wiederverwertung
zu. Die Batterien/Akkus werden recycelt, da sie z. B. Nickel - Cadmium (Ni - Cd), Blei
(Pb), Cadmium (Cd) oder QuecksiIber (Hg) enthalten können.

Telefon in Betrieb nehmen
Für das Telefon besteht eine allgemeine Anschalterlaubnis. Sie können es daher unter
folgenden Bedingungen selbst anschließen:
• Das Gerät ist nur für den Anschluss an das analoge Telefonnetz, den analogen
Port einer Telefonanlage oder an einen Internettelefonie-Adapter vorgesehen.
• Das Telefon benötigt zur Funktion aller Features 4 Batterien (Typ AAA, Micro / nicht
im Lieferumfang enthalten).
Batterien einlegen
• Öffnen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung auf der Unterseite des Gerätes.
• Legen Sie 4 Batterien Typ AAA ein. Achten Sie auf die korrekte Polarität! Durch
falsch eingelegte Batterien können Schäden am Gerät eintreten.
Hinweise:
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass beim Einlegen der Batterien das TelefonAnschlusskabel nicht an die Telefondose oder die Telefonanlage
angeschlossen ist!
2. Verwenden Sie nur Batterien des Typs AAA (Micro).
3. Beachten Sie die korrekte Polarität!
4. Wenn das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird entfernen Sie bitte die
Batterien, um Schäden durch möglicherweise auslaufende Batterien zu
vermeiden.

Telefon anschließen
• Verbinden Sie das Hörer-Kabel mit dem Telefonhörer und das andere Ende mit der
Buchse an der linken Seite des Telefons.
• Verbinden Sie das Telefon mit Hilfe des Telefon-Anschlusskabels mit der Telefondose oder dem Anschluss an der Telefonanlage.
Wandmontage
Messen und markieren Sie die Löcher für die Wandmontage entsprechend der Unterseite des Telefons.
Achten Sie dabei darauf, dass keine Leitungen in der Nähe der Bohrstelle verlaufen
(Strom, Telefon, Antenne, Wasser oder Heizung). Wenn Sie nicht sicher sind, wählen
Sie einen anderen Montageort oder prüfen Sie mit einem geeigneten Messgerät auf
evt. vorhandene Leitungen.
Verwenden Sie geeignete Schrauben, deren Köpfe in die Halterungen am Boden des
Telefons passen.
Hängen Sie das Telefon auf die etwas vorstehenden Schraubenköpfe.
Prüfen Sie, ob das Telefon zu leicht nach oben Rutschen kann. Wenn Ja, dann das
Telefon noch mal abnehmen und die Schrauben ein wenig weiter hineindrehen. Das
Telefon wieder auf die Schrauben setzen und ggf. den Vorgang wiederholen.
Hinweis
Durch die Gummifüße auf der Unterseite des Telefons ist nicht auszuschließen, dass
der Untergrund schwarze Abfärbungen/Striche bekommt. Wenn Sie dies vermeiden
wollen, empfehlen wir Ihnen, etwas Geeignetes dazwischen zu legen.
Displayanzeige
Das Display gibt Ihnen Informationen wie Datum und Uhrzeit sowie bei ankommenden
Gesprächen die Rufnummer des Anrufers bzw. den Namen, wenn ein Eintrag im Telefonbuch des Gerätes existiert (und die Übermittlung der Rufnummer an Ihrem
Anschluss verfügbar ist).
Es unterstützt Sie außerdem bei der Einrichtung/Programmierung des Telefons über
ein Benutzermenü. Weitere Informationen entnehmen Sie bitte dem Kapitel „Telefon
einstellen“.
Im Ruhezustand des Telefons sehen Sie den Wochentag, Datum und Uhrzeit sowie
die Anzahl nicht angenommener und angenommener Anrufe zusammen (ALLE) und
die Zahl der nicht angenommenen Anrufe (NEU). Einzelheiten siehe Kapitel „Anrufliste“.

Telefonieren
Einen Telefonanruf entgegennehmen / beenden
Bei eingehenden Anrufen wird die Telefonnummer des Anrufers bzw. dessen Name
(wenn ein Eintrag im Telefonbuch des Gerätes vorliegt) auf dem Display angezeigt,
sofern die Übermittlung der Rufnummer an Ihrem Anschluss verfügbar ist.
Wenn das Telefon klingelt heben Sie den Hörer ab oder drücken Sie die Taste um
das Gespräch im Freisprechbetrieb anzunehmen. Zum Beenden des Gesprächs legen
Sie den Hörer auf.
Wollen Sie während des Gesprächs zum Freisprechbetrieb wechseln, drücken Sie die
Taste
- im Display ist rechts oben ein Lautsprechersymbol zu sehen. Legen Sie
jetzt den Hörer auf (erst bei aufgelegtem Hörer ist der Lautsprecher eingeschaltet).
Zum Ausschalten des Freisprechbetriebes und Weiterführen des Gesprächs über den
Hörer nehmen Sie zuerst den Hörer ab und drücken dann die Taste erneut.
Wählen
Sie können eine Rufnummer sowohl mit abgenommenem als auch mit aufliegendem
Hörer wählen.
Hörer abgehoben
Sie haben folgende Möglichkeiten, eine Rufnummer zu wählen:
• Geben Sie die Rufnummer mit den Zifferntasten ein - die Nummer wird direkt
gewählt. Sie können bei dieser Wählmethode keine Änderungen an der Nummer
vornehmen.
• Drücken Sie eine der Direktwahltaste M1 … M4 (Hinweis: Sie müssen vorher eine
Rufnummer auf diese Direktwahltaste programmiert haben).
• Drücken Sie die Kurzwahltaste und anschließend die Taste des gewünschten
Speicherplatzes (Hinweis: Sie müssen vorher eine Rufnummer auf diesen
Speicherplatz programmiert haben).
• Drücken Sie die Taste . Geben Sie ggf. den Anfangsbuchstaben des
gewünschten Eintrags mit der entsprechenden Zifferntaste ein.
Drücken Sie wiederholt oder benutzen Sie das Rad, um zum gewünschten
Eintrag zu gelangen.
Starten Sie die Wahl mit der Taste .

Hörer liegt auf
Sie haben folgende Möglichkeiten, eine Rufnummer zu wählen:
• Geben Sie die Rufnummer mit den Zifferntasten ein. Sie können Korrekturen vornehmen. Löschen Sie die letzte Ziffer mit der Taste . Starten Sie die Wahl durch
Abnehmen des Hörers oder Drücken der Taste .
• Drücken Sie eine der Direktwahltaste M1 … M4 (Hinweis: Sie müssen vorher eine
Rufnummer auf diese Direktwahltaste programmiert haben). Starten Sie die Wahl
durch Abnehmen des Hörers oder Drücken der Taste .
• Drücken Sie die Kurzwahltaste und anschließend die Taste des gewünschten
Speicherplatzes (Hinweis: Sie müssen vorher eine Rufnummer auf diesen
Speicherplatz programmiert haben). Starten Sie die Wahl durch Abnehmen des
Hörers oder Drücken der Taste .
• Drücken Sie die Taste . Geben Sie ggf. den Anfangsbuchstaben des
gewünschten Eintrags mit der entsprechenden Zifferntaste ein.
Drücken Sie wiederholt oder benutzen Sie das Rad, um zum gewünschten
Eintrag zu gelangen. Starten Sie die Wahl durch Abnehmen des Hörers oder Drücken der Taste .
Wahlwiederholung
Hörer abgehoben
• Drücken Sie die Taste für Wahlwiederholung . Ihr Telefon wählt jetzt die letzte
Rufnummer, die Sie eingetippt hatten.
Hörer liegt auf
• Drücken Sie die Taste für Wahlwiederholung . Im Display erscheint die letzte
Rufnummer, die Sie eingetippt hatten.
• Drücken Sie die Taste erneut so oft, bis die gewünschte Rufnummer im Display
erscheint.
• Starten Sie die Wahl durch Abnehmen des Hörers oder Drücken der Taste .
Anrufliste
Ihr Telefon speichert angenommene und nicht angenommene Anrufe mit Datum und
Uhrzeit in der Anrufliste. Sofern an Ihrem Anschluss verfügbar wird die Rufnummer
angezeigt. Liegt für die betreffende Rufnummer ein Telefonbucheintrag vor wird der
entsprechende Name angezeigt. Nicht angenommene Anrufe werden durch eine Zahl
im Display angezeigt und mit NEU gekennzeichnet. Angenommene und nicht ange-

nommene Anrufe werden zusammen durch die Zahl über ALLE angezeigt. Bei wiederholten Anrufen wird Uhrzeit und Datum des letzten Anrufes in die Liste eingetragen.
Anzeigen der Anrufliste, Einträge löschen
• Das Telefon ist im Ruhezustand.
• Drehen Sie das Rad gegen den Uhrzeigersinn. Der neueste Eintrag wird angezeigt.
• Drehen Sie weiter, um die nächsten Einträge anzuzeigen.
• Löschen Sie den angezeigten Eintrag durch zweimaliges Drücken der Taste .
Um alle Einträge zu löschen halten Sie die Taste für ca. 5 Sekunden gedrückt
bis die Anzeige „ALLES LOESCHEN“ erscheint, lassen die Taste kurz los und drücken sie erneut.
Anrufen aus der Anrufliste, Hörer abgehoben
• Drehen Sie das Rad.
• Wählen Sie den gewünschten Eintrag.
• Starten Sie die Wahl mit der Taste .
Anrufen aus der Anrufliste, Hörer liegt auf
• Drehen Sie das Rad.
• Wählen Sie den gewünschten Eintrag.
• Starten Sie die Wahl durch Abnehmen des Hörers oder Drücken der Taste .
Während des Gesprächs: Mikrofon ausschalten (Stummschaltung)
Wenn Sie nicht wollen, dass Ihr Gesprächspartner am Telefon mithören soll, weil Sie
z. B. eine Rückfrage im Raum halten, können Sie das Mikrofon ausschalten.
Drücken Sie die Stumm-Schalttaste . Im Display erscheint das entsprechende Symbol.
Zum Einschalten des Mikrofons drücken Sie die Stumm-Schalttaste erneut.

Telefon einstellen
Rufnummer auf Direktwahltaste oder Kurzwahltaste speichern
• Das Telefon ist im Ruhezustand.
• Geben Sie die Telefonnummer ein oder rufen Sie einen Eintrag aus der Wahlwie-
derholungsliste oder der Anrufliste auf.
• Drücken Sie die Speichertaste .
• Drücken Sie eine der Direktwahltasten M1 … M4 oder eine der Zifferntasten
1, 2, 3 … 0, *, #, die Sie als Kurzwahltaste programmieren möchten.
Hinweis: Wollen Sie innerhalb einer Rufnummer eine Pause (3,6 s) einfügen, drü-
cken Sie an der gewünschten Stelle die Taste .
Hinweis:
Die gespeicherten Rufnummern bleiben gespeichert solange das Telefon mit
einem funktionierenden Telefonanschluss (Ruhespannung vorhanden) verbunden ist oder Batterien mit genügend Kapazität eingelegt sind. Wenn keine
der beiden Möglichkeiten zur Stromversorgung des Speichers gegeben ist,
gehen die Rufnummern verloren.
Programmierung über das Menü
Die Einrichtung/Programmierung des Telefons erfolgt mit Hilfe eines Menüs, das im
Display angezeigt wird. Sie öffnen das Menü mit der Taste und bewegen sich mit
dem Rad durch die verschiedenen Unterpunkte. Wollen Sie ein Untermenü aufrufen
drücken Sie die Taste . Wählen Sie den gewünschten Eintrag mit dem Rad und
bestätigen Sie ihre Einstellung mit der Taste .
Sie können das Menü ohne Änderung jederzeit mit der Taste verlassen.
Sprache einstellen
Im Auslieferungszustand ist die Displaysprache „DEUTSCH“ eingestellt.
• Drücken Sie die Taste . Das Menü wird geöffnet.
• Wählen Sie SPRACHE WAEHLEN und drücken Sie .
• Wählen Sie die gewünschte Sprache und drücken Sie .
• Wählen Sie einen anderen Menüpunkt oder verlassen Sie das Menü mit .

Datum/Zeit einstellen
Um eine korrekte Anzeige der Einträge in der Anrufliste zu ermöglichen müssen Datum
und Uhrzeit eingestellt sein.
• Drücken Sie die Taste . Das Menü wird geöffnet.
• Wählen Sie DATUM/ZEIT und drücken Sie .
• Stellen Sie das Jahr ein und drücken Sie .
• Stellen Sie die Stunde ein und drücken Sie .
• Verfahren Sie nach diesem Muster für die Eingabe von Minute, Tag und Monat und
drücken Sie jeweils . Der entsprechende Wochentag wird automatisch angezeigt.
• Wählen Sie einen anderen Menüpunkt oder verlassen Sie das Menü mit .
Kontrast einstellen
• Drücken Sie die Taste . Das Menü wird geöffnet.
• Wählen Sie KONTRAST EINST und drücken Sie .
• Stellen Sie den gewünschten Kontrast ein und drücken Sie .
• Wählen Sie einen anderen Menüpunkt oder verlassen Sie das Menü mit .
Amtskennziffer einstellen
Ist Ihr Telefon an einer Telefonanlage angeschlossen, müssen Sie evtl. zum Belegen
einer externen Wählleitung eine Amtskennziffer vorwählen (z. B. „0“). Um Einträge aus

Diese Ziffer wird auch automatisch bei Einträgen im Telefonbuch oder auf den Direktbzw. Kurzwahltasten vorgewählt.

• Wählen Sie TBUCH ZUFUEGEN und drücken Sie .
• Geben Sie die Rufnummer ein und drücken Sie .
• Geben Sie mit den Zifferntasten den Namen buchstabenweise ein (entsprechend
der Beschriftung auf den Tasten) und drücken Sie . Mit dem Rad bewegen Sie
den Cursor, mit löschen Sie Fehler bei der Eingabe. Leerzeichen geben Sie mit
der Taste 0 ein.
• Drücken Sie die Taste um den neuen Eintrag zu speichern.
• Geben Sie weitere Einträge ein oder verlassen Sie das Menü mit .
Eintrag im Telefonbuch ändern
• Drücken Sie die Taste . Das Menü wird geöffnet.
• Wählen Sie TBUCH EDITIEREN und drücken Sie .
• Geben Sie den Anfangsbuchstaben des gewünschten Eintrags ein und drücken Sie
oder drücken Sie ohne Eingabe eines Buchstabens , um die Einträge der
Reihe nach anzuzeigen.
• Wählen Sie den gewünschten Eintrag und drücken Sie .
• Ändern Sie ggf. die Rufnummer (löschen mit ) und drücken Sie .
• Ändern Sie ggf. den Namen (mit dem Rad bewegen Sie den Cursor / löschen des
Zeichens links vom Cursor mit / Leerzeichen eingeben mit „0“).
• Drücken Sie die Taste um den geänderten Eintrag zu speichern und ggf. wei-
tere Einträge zu ändern oder verlassen Sie das Menü mit .
Direktruf
Haben Sie den Direktruf eingeschaltet, führt das Abheben des Hörers sowie jede Tastenbetätigung außer der Taste zur Wahl der programmierten Rufnummer.

• Wählen Sie eine Flashzeit (100 ms / 300 ms / 600 ms) und drücken Sie .
• Wählen Sie einen anderen Menüpunkt oder verlassen Sie das Menü mit .
Hinweis: Für die Nutzung der Leistungsmerkmale im analogen Telefonnetz ist die
Einstellung „100 ms“ üblich. Fragen Sie ggf. Ihren Netzbetreiber nach der für Ihren
Anschluss notwendigen Einstellung.
Tonruflautstärke einstellen
• Stellen Sie mit dem Schalter auf der Rückseite des Telefons die gewünschte
Tonruflautstärke ein (HI = laut / LO = leise).
Wahlverfahren einstellen
• Stellen Sie mit dem Schalter auf der Rückseite des Telefons das gewünschte Wahlverfahren ein (T = Tonwahl/MFV / P = Pulswahl/IWV). Zum Anschluss an das analoge Telefonnetz stellen Sie bitte den Schalter auf T (Tonwahl/MFV).

Verwendung am analogen Port von Internettelefonie-Adaptern
Beim Einsatz am Internettelefonieadapter kann es selten vorkommen, dass Probleme
bei der
• Klingelsignalisierung
• Rufnummernanzeige
• Uhrzeitanzeige
auftreten.
Das Swissvoice CP110 weist deswegen keinen Defekt auf.
Mehrere Ursachen können das fehlerhafte Arbeiten der erwähnten Funktionen bedingen:
• Der Provider für Internettelefonie stellt das Merkmal nicht an Ihrem Internettelefo-
nie-Anschluss zur Verfügung.
• Der eingesetzte Adapter zur Wandlung von Internet-Telefonie auf analoge Telefone
(meist vom Provider geliefert) liefert die erforderlichen Signale zum Telefon zu weit
abweichend vom Toleranzbereich für korrekte Funktion des Telefons.
Prüfen Sie in solchen Störungsfällen bitte nach Möglichkeit das Swissvoice CP110
zum Vergleich an einem analogen Festnetz-Anschluss und/oder kontaktieren Sie Ihren
Provider für Internet-Telefonie diesbezüglich.

Pflege
Ihr Telefon ist ein Produkt, das in Design und Ausführung hohen Ansprüchen genügt.
Es sollte daher mit Sorgfalt behandelt werden.
Beachten Sie dazu alle Sicherheitshinweise auf Seite 1.
Zum Reinigen des Telefons wischen Sie das Gerät mit einem Antistatiktuch oder einem
etwas angefeuchteten weichen Ledertuch ab, anschließend mit einem trockenen Tuch.
Service und Gewährleistung
Während einer Dauer von 24 Monaten ab dem Kaufdatum entstehen Ihnen für die
Behebung von Gewährleistungsfällen keine Kosten. Verschleißartikel oder Mängel, die
den Wert oder die Gebrauchstauglichkeit des Gerätes nur unerheblich beeinflussen,
sind von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.
Der Gewährleistungsanspruch muss durch den Originalkaufbeleg, auf dem das Kaufdatum ersichtlich ist, nachgewiesen werden.
Innerhalb der Gewährleistungszeit wird nach eigenem Ermessen Gewährleistung
durch Reparatur oder Gerätetausch geleistet.
Die Gewährleistungszeit verlängert sich nicht automatisch, es bleibt die ursprüngliche
Gewährleistungszeit des Erstgerätes bestehen, diese endet nach 24 Monaten. Von der
Gewährleistung ausgenommen sind Schäden oder Mängel, die durch unsachgemäße
Handhabung oder Betrieb verursacht wurden, sowohl als auch Defekte welche durch

Using the telephone
Intended use/Conformity declaration
With the Swissvoice CP110 you have acquired a telephone to connect to the analog
telephone network or an analog extension of a telephone system and Internet telephony adapters. Before commissioning the appliance, please read the Operating
Instructions. When operating on an extension system, please observe the Operating
Instructions for the telephone system.
This product can be operated on an analog telephone connection in all member states
of the EU.
The CE-mark on the product confirms its conformity to the technical guidelines for the
safety of the user and electromagnetic compatibility.

Safety Instructions
• Please read the Operating Instructions and retain them.
• Do not open the appliance.
• Do not subject the appliance to direct sunlight or other sources of heat.
• Do not install and use the appliance in explosion vulnerable rooms.
• Protect the appliance from moisture, heavy dust, corrosive liquids and fumes.
• Do not expose the appliance to electromagnetic fields (electric motors, household
appliances). The voice quality could be affected.
Avoid locations in the immediate vicinity of radio, TV and video appliances.
• Only connect the connecting cable of the appliance to an appointed telephone
socket.
• Never telephone in the immediate vicinity of water.
• Clean the appliance with a soft, slightly moist or anti-static cloth.
• Do not use cleaning agents and chemical substances.
• Only operate the appliance in the temperature range of + 5 °C to approx. + 35 °C.

Your telephone is manufactured for normal conditions of use. Furniture of today is coated with a conspicuous variety of paints and plastics and is treated with various caring
agents. Therefore, it cannot be eliminated that some of these materials contain constituents that attack and soften the plastic feet of the telephone. The feet of the appliance
mutated by the foreign material can possibly leave unpleasant traces on the surface of
the furniture.
For obvious reasons, the manufacturer cannot accept liability for this damage. Therefore, please use an anti-slip underlay for your telephone - especially with new furniture,
or newly reconditioned furniture using paint care products.
Disposal instructions (protection of the environment)
At the end of the service life of the product, it must not be disposed of in the normal
household rubbish. Dispense of it at a collection point for the processing of electrical
and electronic appliances. The symbol on the product, in the Operating Instructions
and/or packaging, advises you.
By the recycling of some components or raw materials from second-hand products,
you provide an important contribution for the protection of the environment.
Please contact your town/local government if you require further information regarding
the collection locations in your vicinity.

Battery/accumulator disposal
There is a statutory obligation to return all used batteries and accumulators; they must
not be disposed of in the household rubbish. Dispose of the batteries/accumulators in
accordance with the authorities conditions. Take them for recycling. The batteries/accumulators are recycled, because they could, e.g. contain nickel - cadmium (Ni - Cd),
lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd) or mercury (Hg).

Commissioning the telephone
There is a general concession to switch-on the telephone. Therefore, you can connect
it yourself under the following conditions:
• The appliance is only intended for connection to an analog telephone network, the
analog port of a telephone system or an Internet telephony adapter.
• To operate all features, the telephone requires 4 batteries (Type AAA, Micro / not
supplied).
Installing the batteries
• Open the battery compartment cover on the underside of the appliance.
• Install the 4 batteries, Type AAA. Observe the correct polarity! If the batteries are
installed incorrectly, damage to the appliance can occur.
Notes:
1. When installing the batteries, make sure that the telephone connecting
cable is not connected to the telephone socket or the telephone system!
2. Only use batteries, Type AAA (Micro).
3. Observe the correct polarity!
4. If the appliance is not used for a longer period, to prevent possible
damage from leaking batteries, please remove the batteries.

Connecting the telephone
• Connect the receiver cable with the telephone receiver and the other end to the
jack on the left side of the telephone.
• Use the telephone connecting cable to connect the telephone to the telephone
socket or the connection to the telephone system.
Wall assembly
Measure and mark the holes for the wall assembly in accordance with the underside of
the telephone.
Make sure that no cables run in the vicinity of the drilling point (electric, telephone,
antenna, water or heating). If you are not sure, choose another assembly location or,
using an applicable measuring device, check for possible existing cables.
Use appropriate screws, the heads of which fit into the mountings on the base of the
telephone.
Hang the telephone on the slightly protruding screw heads.
Check to see if the telephone can easily slide upwards. If yes, then remove the telephone and turn in the screws a little further. Place the telephone on the screws again
and, as necessary, repeat the procedure.
Note
It is possible that black colouring/stripes appear on the surface because of the rubber
feet on the underside of the telephone. If you want to prevent this, we recommend that
you place something appropriate between the wall and telephone.
Display
If there is an entry in the telephone directory (and transmission of the call number is
available at your connection), the display gives you information such as date and time,
as well as the telephone number of incoming calls and name of the caller.
Also, it assists you in the setting/programming of the telephone using a user menu. For
further information, please refer to the Chapter "Setting-up Telephone".
When the telephone is in idle state, you can view the day, date and time, as well as
the combined number of non-accepted and accepted calls (ALL) and the number of the
non-accepted calls (NEW). For details, refer to Chapter "Call List".

Telephoning
Accepting / ending a telephone call
When a call comes in, the telephone number and name of the caller (if an entry exists
in the telephone directory) is shown on the display, as long as the transmission of the
call number is available at your connection.
When the telephone rings, pick up the receiver or press the key to accept the call in
hands-free mode. To end the call, replace the receiver.
If you want to change to hands-free mode during the call, press the key - a loudspeaker symbol can be seen on the display at the top right. Now replace the receiver
(only when the receiver is replaced is the loudspeaker switched on). To deactivate the
hands-free mode and continue the conversation using the receiver, first pick up the
receiver and then press the key again.
Dialling
You can dial a number with the receiver picked up or in place.
Receiver picked up
To dial a number, you have the options that follow:
• Enter the number using the numeric keys - the number is dialled directly. Using this
method of dialling, no alteration to the number can be made.
• Press one of the direct-dial keys M1 … M4 (Note: You must have previously
programmed a number on the direct-dial key).
• Press the quick-dial key and, subsequently, the key for the desired
memory location (Note: You must have previously programmed a number
at this memory location).
• Press the key . As necessary, use the appropriate numeric key and enter the
initial letter of the desired entry.
Press again or use the wheel to access the desired entry.

The receiver is in position
To dial a number, you have the options that follow:
• Enter the number using the numeric keys. You can make corrections. Delete the
last number using the key . Start dialling by picking up the receiver or pressing
the key .
• Press one of the direct-dial keys M1 … M4 (Note: You must have previously pro-
grammed a number on this direct-dial key). Start dialling by picking up the receiver
or pressing the key .
• Press the quick-dial key and, subsequently, the key for the desired memory
space (Note: You must have previously programmed a number in this memory
space). Start dialling by picking up the receiver or pressing the key .
• Press the key . As necessary, use the appropriate numeric key and enter the
initial letter of the desired entry.
Press again or use the wheel to access the desired entry. Start dialling by
picking up the receiver or pressing the key .
Redialling
Receiver picked up
• Press the key for repeat dialling. Your telephone now dials the last telephone
number that you entered.
The receiver is in position
• Press the key for repeat dialling. The display shows the last telephone number
that you entered.
• Keep pressing the key until the desired number appears on the display.
• Start dialling by picking up the receiver or pressing the key .
Call list
Your telephone stores accepted and non-accepted calls in the call list with date and
time. As long as the connection is available, the number is displayed. If there is an
entry in the telephone directory, the corresponding name is also displayed. Non-accepted calls are indicated by a number on the display and designated by NEW. Accepted
and non-accepted calls are indicated together with the number and indicated by ALL.
Repeat calls are entered by the time and date of the last call.

Display the call list, delete entries
• The telephone is in idle state.
• Turn the wheel anticlockwise. The newest entry is displayed.
• Turn further to display the next entry.
• Delete the displayed entry by twice pressing the key .
To delete all entries, keep the key pressed for approx. 5 seconds until the message "DEL ALL?“ appears, momentarily release the key and press again.
Calling using the call list, receiver picked up
• Turn the wheel.
• Select the desired entry.
• Start the selection with the key .
Calling using the call list, receiver is in position
• Turn the wheel.
• Select the desired entry.
• Start dialling by picking up the receiver or pressing the key .
During the conversation: Deactivate the microphone (mute)
If you do not wish that your caller should hear something on the telephone, because
you e.g. must make an inquiry in the room, you can deactivate the microphone.
Press the mute key . The corresponding symbol is indicated in the display.
To activate the microphone, again press the mute key .

Store number on a direct-dial key or quick-dial key
• The telephone is in idle state.
• Enter the telephone number or call up an entry from the repeat dial or call list.
• Press the memory key .
• Press one of the direct-dial keys M1 … M4 or a numeric key 1, 2, 3 … 0, *, #, that
you wish to program as a quick-dial key.
Note: If you wish to enter a break (3.6 s) within a telephone number, press the key
at the desired position.
Note:
The telephone numbers stored remain stored as long as the telephone is
connected to an operational telephone connection (open-circuit voltage present), or batteries with sufficient capacity are installed. If neither of the two
options of power supply for the memory is available, the telephone numbers
are lost.
Programming using the menu
Setting up/programming the telephone is carried out using a menu that is indicated on
the display. You open the menu using the key and use the wheel to move between
the different sub-items. If you wish to call up a sub-menu, press the key . Select the
desired entry using the wheel and confirm the setting with the key .
You can exit the menu without amendment at any time with the key .
Setting the language
The initial display language is set to "German".
• Press the key . The menu opens.
• Select SPRACHE WAEHLEN (SELECT LANGUAGE) and press .
• Select the desired language and press .
• Select another menu item or exit the menu with .

Setting the date/time
In order to obtain a correct display of the entries in the call list, the date and time must
be set.
• Press the key . The menu opens.
• Select DATE/TIME and press .
• Set the year and press .
• Set the hour and press .
• Continue in this manner for entering the minute, day and month and each time
press . The corresponding weekday is automatically displayed.
• Select another menu item or exit the menu with .
Setting the contrast
• Press the key . The menu opens.
• Select CONTRAST ADJUST and press .
• Set the desired contrast and press .
• Select another menu item or exit the menu with .
Setting the exchange code
If your telephone is connected to a telephone system, it is possible that to get an external line, you must enter an exchange code (e.g. "0"). To be able to call back entries in
the call list "trouble-free", it can be necessary, depending on the telephone system, to
program an exchange number (as long as this is not automatically transferred by the
system - refer to the documentation for the telephone system).
This number is then automatically dialled, if entered in the telephone directory or on
the direct or quick-dial key.
• Press the key . The menu opens.
• Select PABX CODE and press .
• Select the required exchange code and press .
• Select another menu item or exit the menu with .

Create a new entry in the telephone directory
• Press the key . The menu opens.
• Select PHONEBOOK ADD and press .
• Enter the number and press .
• Use the numeric keys and enter the names as characters (corresponding to the
inscription on the keys) and press . Use the wheel to move the cursor, use to
delete entries when entering Use the key 0 to enter spaces.
• Press the key to save the new entry.
• Input further new entries or exit the menu with .
Change an entry in the telephone directory
• Press the key . The menu opens.
• Select PHONEBOOK EDIT and press .
• To display the entries in sequence, enter the initial letter of the desired entry and
press or press without entering a letter.
• Select the desired entry and press .
• As necessary, change the number (delete with ) and press .
• As necessary, change the name (use the wheel to move the cursor / delete the
character on the left of the cursor with / enter spaces with "0").
• Press the key to save the changed entry and, as necessary, change further
entries or exit the menu with .
Direct-dial
If you have activated the direct-dial, each time the receiver is picked up and each activation of the keys, except the key results in the programmed number being dialled.
• Press the key . The menu opens.
• Select DIRECT CALL and press .
• Select DIRECT ON and press .
• Enter the number and press .
• Select another menu item or exit the menu with .
• To deactivate the direct-dial, press , select DIRECT CALL, , DIRECT CALL
OFF and again press .

Setting the flash time
• Press the key . The menu opens.
• Select FLASH TIME and press .
• Select a flash time (100 ms / 300 ms / 600 ms) and press .
• Select another menu item or exit the menu with .
Note: The setting "100 ms" is common for the use of the capability characteristics
in the analog telephone network. As necessary, ask your network provider for the
required setting for your connection.
Setting the ring tone volume
• Use the switch at the rear of the telephone to set the desired volume for the ring
tone (HI = loud / LO = silent).
Setting the dialling method
• Use the switch at the rear of the telephone to set the desired method of dialling (T =
Tone dialling/MFV / P = Pulse dialling/IWV). For connection to the analog telephone
network, please set the switch to T (Tone dialling/MFV).

Use of the analog port of Internet telephony adapters
When using the Internet telephony adapter, seldom problems can occur with the
• Ringing signal
• Display of the telephone number
• Display of the time.
However, the Swissvoice CP110 is not defect.
There can be many causes of incorrect operation of the functions mentioned:
• The provider of the Internet telephony has not made the feature available at your
Internet telephony connection.
• The deviation of the signals transmitted to the telephone by the adapter, used for
converting Internet telephony to analog telephone (for the most part supplied by the
provider), is too far out of the tolerance range for correct operation of the telephone.
In such contingencies, as far as possible, please check the Swissvoice CP110 on an
analog landline connection, for comparison and/or contact your provider for Internet
telephony.

Appendix
Care
Your telephone is a product that fulfills high demands in design and construction. Therefore, it should be treated with care.
Observe all of the safety instructions on Page 1.
Clean the telephone with an anti-static cloth, or slightly moist soft leather cloth and
subsequently with a dry cloth.
Service and warranty
During a period of 24 months after the purchase date, there is no cost to you for rectification of cases covered under the warranty. Wear and tear items or defects that negligibly influence the value, or the serviceability of the appliance, are excluded from the
warranty.
The warranty claim must be verified by the original receipt of purchase, on which the
date of purchase is clearly visible.
Within the period of warranty, repair under the warranty will be fulfilled at our own
discretion, either by repair or exchange of appliance.
The warranty period does not automatically extend, it remains at the original warranty
period of the initial appliance, this ceases after 24 months. Excluded from the warranty
is damage or defects that occur through incorrect treatment or operation, as well as
defects arising from the use of non-original parts.
Warranty is not guaranteed if damage is caused due to external influences, such as
lightning, overvoltage, moisture, fire or similar.
