INSTALLATION GUIDE – GUIDE D’INSTALATION - GUÍA D’INSTALACIÓN

1. PREPARING THE GRAPHICS CARD
First, remove the stock cooling solution; then clean off the GPU core, memory modules, and voltage regulators with alcohol, or preferably with an
electronic degreaser such as ArctiClean. Finally, apply the provided Arctic Céramique thermal paste to the GPU core and to the voltage regulators
modules as shown above.

Tout d’abord, démontez le ventirad d’origine ; ensuite, nettoyez soigneusement les modules de mémoire et régulateurs de voltage. Finalement
appliquez la graisse thermique Arctic Céramique fournie sur le GPU et les régulateurs de voltage comme indiqué ci-dessus.

1. PREPARE LA TARJETA GRAFICA
En primer lugar, desmontar el disipador de origen y a continuación, limpiar cuidadosamente los módulos de memoria y reguladores de voltaje.

2. PREPARING THE WATERBLOCK
Peel-off the protective plastic sheet from ALL pre-applied thermal pads.

Décollez le film protecteur de tous les pads thermiques. Attention à ne
pas en oublier un afin de vous assurer un refroidissement de qualité !

2. PREPARAR EL WATERBLOCK
Despegue la película de protección de todos los pads térmicos. ¡No
olvidarlo ninguno! Así obtendrá una refrigeración de calidad.

3. FASTENING THE WATERBLOCK TO THE GRAPHICS

CARD – Step 1
Remove the springs and screws from the stock cross-bracket. Longer
M2x6mm replacement screws are provided and will be used instead
(without the springs) for installation of the Komodo waterblock to the
card.

SUR LA CARTE GRAPHIQUE- Etape 1

Démontez les ressorts et vis de la plaque d’origine. Des vis M2x6mm
plus longues sont fournies et seront utilisées (sans les ressorts) pour
l’installation du bloc Komodo.

3. INSTALAR EL BLOQUE DE ENFRIAMIENTO LÍQUIDO

SOBRE LA TARJETA GRÁFICA - Etapa 1

Desmontan los resortes y tornillo de la placa original. M2x6mm tornillos
más largos se prestan y se utilizan (sin resortes) para la instalación del
bloque Komodo.

3. FASTENING THE WATERBLOCK TO THE

GRAPHICS CARD – Step 2

Install the cross bracket with the supplied Philips screws (M2x6mm)
and nylon washers: engage the first screw and fasten it by no more
than (1) full turn; then engage the second screw at the opposite corner
and while firmly pressing on the leg of the bracket with your thumb,
fasten it also by no more than (1) full turn. Engage and fasten the
remaining (2) screws, following the same procedure; now you may
complete fastening of all (4) screws while always helping by placing
pressure on each leg with your thumb; fasten gradually and in a cross
pattern until each leg of the bracket bottoms out. ** IMPORTANT ** :
these are fine screws and cross-threading them is easy. Do not force
the screw if you feel abnormal resistance. Simply back it off completely,
make sure that the screw is straight, and only then resume fastening.

3. INSTALLEZ LE BLOC DE REFROIDISSEMENT LIQUIDE

SUR LA CARTE GRAPHIQUE- Etape 2

Installez la plaque arrière avec les vis Philips fournies (M2x6mm) et
rondelles en nylon : engagez et serrez la première vis sans excéder
(1) tour complet ; ensuite, engagez la seconde vis au coin opposé de la
plaque tout en appuyant fermement sur la patte de la plaque avec le
pouce, et serrez également cette vis sans excéder (1) tour complet.
Engagez et serrez les (2) vis restantes en suivant la même méthode.
Finissez de serrer les (4) vis en aidant toujours par presser sur chaque
patte avec le pouce. Serrez en croix progressivement jusqu’à ce que
les pattes viennent en contact avec la carte. ** IMPORTANT ** : ces
petites vis au pas très fin sont fragiles, et il est facile de les
endommager. Ne forcez pas au serrage ! si vous sentez une résistance
anormale, simplement dévissez complètement, et réengagez la vis en
vous assurant qu’elle est bien droite.

3. INSTALAR EL BLOQUE DE ENFRIAMIENTO LÍQUIDO
SOBRE LA TARJETA GRÁFICA Etapa 2
Instalar la placa posterior con los tornillos Philips proporcionados
(M2,5x6mm) y riostras en nylon: Inserte y ajuste el primer tornillo sin
exceder (1) una vuelta completa; a continuación, inserte el segundo
tornillo en la esquina opuesta de la placa, apoyando firmemente al
mismo tiempo en pata de la placa con el pulgar; apretar también este
tornillo sin exceder (1) una vuelta completa. Coloque y apriete los (2)
dos tornillos restantes siguiendo el mismo método. Termine de apretar
los (4) tornillos, siempre apoyando firmemente al mismo tiempo en pata
de la placa con el pulgar. Ajustar progresivamente, en cruz, hasta que
las patas entren en contacto con la tarjeta. ** IMPORTANTE **: estos
pequeños tornillos tienen una rosca muy fina, son frágiles, dañarlos es
fácil. ¡No forzar a la sujeción! si sienten una resistencia anormal,
simplemente desatornillan completamente, y contratan de nuevo el
tornillo cerciorándose que es bien recto y se ajusta sin dificultad.

3. FASTENING THE WATERBLOCK TO THE GRAPHICS CARD – Step 3
If applicable (HD6970), install the stock back-plate, and then fasten the provided screws as shown in the schematic above. ** IMPORTANT **:
these are fine screws and cross-threading them is easy. Do not force the screw if you feel abnormal resistance. Simply back it off completely, make
sure that the screw is straight (perpendicular to the board), and only then resume fastening.

Installation of the Komodo waterblock to the card is now complete!

3. INSTALLEZ LE BLOC SUR LA CARTE GRAPHIQUE- Etape 3
Le cas échéant (HD6970), installer la plaque arrière d'origine, puis serrer les vis fournies comme indiqué dans le schéma ci-dessus.

** IMPORTANT ** : ces petites vis au pas très fin sont fragiles, et il est facile de les endommager. Ne forcez pas au serrage ! si vous sentez une
résistance anormale, simplement dévissez complètement, et réengagez la vis en vous assurant qu’elle est bien droite.

L’installation bu bloc Komodo sur la carte est à présent terminée!

3. INSTALAR EL BLOQUE SOBRE LA GRÁFICA - Etapa 3
Si alguno (HD6970), instale la placa de origen, y luego apriete los tornillos como se muestra en el diagrama anterior.
** IMPORTANTE **: estos pequeños tornillos tienen una rosca muy fina, son frágiles, fácil dañarlos. ¡No forzar a la sujeción! si sienten una
resistencia anormal, simplemente desatornillan completamente, y contratan de nuevo el tornillo garantizándoles que es bien derecha.

¡La instalación del bloque Komodo sobre la tarjeta ha terminado!

You can now install the provided plugs (G1/4 thread) using a 5/8” socket or a screw driver; make sure to firmly fasten the plugs until they
completely bottom out or leaks will ensue. Tube fittings are not included with the block and provided in option by the Swiftech resellers. Only use
fittings with G1/4 male thread.

ALWAYS TEST YOUR BLOCK FOR LEAKS PRIOR TO POWERING UP YOUR SYSTEM!

Vous pouvez à présent installer les bouchons fournis (pas de vis G1/4). Utilisez une clef à tube de 16mm ou un tournevis en vous
assurant de serrer les bouchons bien à fond, sous peine de fuites. Les embouts ne sont pas inclus avec le bloc, et sont offerts en option par les
revendeurs Swiftech. Toujours utiliser des embouts au pas de vis mâle de G1/4.

TOUJOURS TESTER VOTRE BLOC DE REFROIDISSEMENT LIQUIDE POUR DES FUITES EVENTUELLES AVANT DE LE METTRE EN
SERVICE DANS VOTRE SYSTEME!

Ahora puede instalar los tapones de siempre (rosca G1/4). Use una llave de tubo de 16mm o un destornillador, asegurándose de apretar
los tapones en la parte inferior, bajo pena de fugas. Las propinas no están incluidas en el bloque, y se ofrecen como una opción por los
distribuidores Swiftech. Utilice siempre la rosca G1/4.
