UNPACKING
Unpack the device carefully. Make sure there are no accessories left in the box. Check up the
device for damage; if the product was damaged during transportation, address the firm which
carried out the delivery; if the product functions incorrectly, address the dealer at once.
ATTENTION!
Do not switch on the speaker system immediately after you bring it into a room from environment
with negative temperature! After unpacking, the speaker system should be kept in conditions of
room temperature for at least 4 hours.

2.1 Multimedia Speaker System
Caution! High voltage inside! To avoid the risk of electric
shock do not open or touch elements inside.
1. DESCRIPTION
MS-120 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System (MSS) is designed to play music and sound games,
movies etc. The MSS has a built-in power amplifier, acoustic cables built into the satellites and a
signal cable due to which it can be connected to virtually any audio source (CD/DVD-player, TV, PC,
etc.) without using an additional power amplifier.
2. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• To avoid electric shock, do not open the MSS and do not perform repairs by yourself.
• Do not allow the circuit of wires (including the grounded ones) between the speakers, on the
power amplifier or the ground, for it causes damage to the power amplifier output stage.
• Do not put foreign objects inside the holes of the MSS. Make sure that needles, hair pins, coins,
insects etc. do not get inside.
• Protect the MSS from high humidity, water and dust. Do not locate it in areas with high level of
humidity and dust.
• Protect the MSS from heating: do not locate it near a heat source or expose to direct sunlight.
• Do not use gasoline, alcohol or other solvents when cleaning, since they may damage the paint-
coated surface of the MSS. Clean it with dry soft cloth only.
• If the MSS does not operate, unplug it and address your dealer.

5. LOCATING
• Place the speakers symmetrically to the listener at the distance not less than one meter. The
subwoofer emits non-directional sound, therefore it can be located in any place of the room, where
it will sound to the best advantage.
• Place the speaker system far away from TV sets, as insignificant image distortion in supersen-
sitive monitors and TV sets is possible.

7. CONNECTION AND OPERATION GUIDE
MS-120 Multimedia Speaker System can be connected to virtually any audio source: DVD/CD, PC
sound card, laptop, etc. (see Fig. 3).
Note! Before making any connections, make sure that the device is unplugged.
• Connect the audio cables built into the speakers into the OUTPUT jack c on the subwoofer rear
panel (see Fig. 3).
• Insert the mini-jack of the signal cable built into the subwoofer into the 3.5 mm jack of the LINE
OUT port of your PC sound card or the output port of your МР3/ CD player (see Fig. 3). To connect
the MSS to a DVD-player or TV, use a mini-jack to 2RCA adapter (not included).
• Insert the power cord plug f (see Fig. 2) on the rear panel of the subwoofer into the socket.
• Switch on the device by turning the VOLUME ON/OFF a volume control knob combined with a
power switch clockwise. The power LED b will light up.

• Switch on the audio source and adjust the master volume level by turning the VOLUME ON/OFF
a control knob. When the knob is turned clockwise, volume level increases, and when it’s turned
counterclockwise, it reduces.
• To switch the MSS off, turn the VOLUME ON/OFF knob a counterclockwise until it clicks.
Notes:
• If the MSS is left unused for a long time, please mind to pull out its plug from the mains
socket.
• To enhance sound quality, use the Line-Out output of your sound card.

Problem
The MSS does not
turn on.
No sound or the
sound of speakers is

Distortion of sound.
Cause
The MSS is not connected to the
mains outlet.
Power switch is off.
Volume level is set at minimum value.
Improperly connected audio source.
Large amplitude of the input signal.
Solution
Check the connection.
Turn on the switch.
Adjust the volume control knob.
Connect audio sources correctly.
Turn down the source volume
and MSS volume.
If none of the above methods can solve the problem, please seek professional advice at your
nearest service center. Never attempt to repair the product yourself.
