CHANGING TWO OR THREE CELL BURNERS

1 Remove cooking grates.
2 Remove flavor grid.
3 Remove screws in the heat shield.
4 Remove screws in the burner and drip guard.
5 Remove drip guard.
6 Remove screws in the thermocouple and lay the thermocouple off

to the side.

7 Remove the three screws in the heat shield which is in the front of

the grill.

8 Push burners towards the back of the grill to dislodge them from

the valves. Angle the burners up and remove them by sliding the
tabs on the back of the burner bar through the cutouts in the
burner supports on the back of the grill. Hint: Pay special
attention to the spider guards on the ends of the burners. The
guards must be on the burners to protect them against spiders
getting into the burners and blocking the ports. The spider guards
may come off during removal of the burners.

9 Insert new burners. Again, pay special attention to the spider

guards so that they don’t fall off.

10 Line up burners with the valves and secure the burners onto the

correct valve.

11 Replace burners and drip guard, secure with screws and tighten

down. Hint: For added security start with the middle screw. This
will stabilize the burner bar while you secure the remaining screws.

12 Replace the thermocouple and tighten down with the two screws.
13 Replace screws in the heat shield and tighten down.
14 Replace flavor grid.
15 Replace cooking grates.
16 Cook!!!!
