supply voltage.
• When using the appliance, make sure no one can trip over the power cable.

• Keep the appliance, power cable and plug away from naked flames, hot flames
and sharp edges. When using, make sure the cable does not become jammed
(e.g. in doors).
• Never handle the appliance, power cable or plug with damp or wet hands.
• Do not immerse the appliance, power cable and plug in water or other liquids.
There is a risk of death through electrocution!
• Pull out the plug and do not pull on the cable to remove the plug from the mains
socket.
• The appliance is suitable for use in houses only. Do not use the appliance in
damp rooms or outside.
• Do not use the appliance near heat sources or naked flames.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use or while it is connected to
the mains.
• Do not use the appliance in an environment where there is an open fire (e. g.
chimney), naked flames (e. g. candles), flammable gases, liquids or dust.
Fire and ignition hazards!
• Never use the appliance near curtains or other soft/hanging materials.
• Do not insert any objects or body parts in the vents. Make sure that objects or
dirt do not block the vent slits. Do not use the appliance if these are blocked.
Blocked up vents can cause the motor to overheat and subsequently can result in
damage to the motor.
• Never use the cable to carry the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance on uneven surfaces and avoid tipping over the
appliance while in use (e.g. on stairs).
• Turn the appliance off and remove the plug before cleaning.
• Children do not recognise the dangers that can result from use of electrical
appliances. Keep children away from appliance. Be especially vigilant when
using the appliance if children are nearby.
