IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electric appliances, basic safety instructions must be followed. In order to avoid burns, electric shock, fire and/or personal injury, please read the user manual thoroughly before using for the first time and adhere to all instructions when using the appliance.

GENERAL INFORMATION
• Electric appliances are not toys! Keep children away from the appliance!
• Use the appliance only as intended.
• The appliance is intended for use in private households only and is not suitable for commercial purposes.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use or connected to the mains.
• Switch off and unplug the appliance when not in use, in case of malfunctions and when cleaning.
• Do not carry the appliance by holding the mains cable.
• Keep the appliance clean and dust-free.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• Regularly check the appliance for visible damage. You must not use the appliance if the appliance is damaged, has been dropped or does not function properly. Do not attempt to repair the appliance on your own.
• Only carry out repairs by qualified persons.
• The socket must be located close to the appliance in order for the mains plug to be disconnected easily in case of emergency
ELECTRIC DANGERS:
• The voltage indicated on the rating plate of the appliance must correspond to your local supply voltage.
• Connect the appliance only to a properly installed wall socket. Do not use multiple socket outlets or extension cables.
• Never operate the appliance by means of a timer or other remote control systems.
• Never touch the appliance, mains cable and mains plug with wet hands or when standing on a wet floor.
• Do not route the mains cable through sinks.
• If the outer surface of the appliance has become wet, unplug the appliance.
• Do not immerse in water.
• Immersing the appliance in water or other liquids presents a life-threatening situation due to electric shock!
• Keep the appliance, mains cable and mains plug away from hot surfaces, open fire, direct sunlight and sharp edges. When using the appliance, make sure not to jam the cable (e.g. between doors).
• When unplugging the appliance, always pull the plug. Never pull the cable.
• If the mains cable of this appliance has been damaged it must be replaced by a properly qualified person in order to avoid hazards. The same applies to the mains plug.
