DO NOT DISCARD THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL AFTER INSTALLATION. This manual contains important operation, maintenance
and precautionary information. Please present this manual to user/operator/owner after installation.
- It is strongly recommended that you read this manual befor installing system to ensure best possible installation.
- Installation must conform to all local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Connect filter to cold water supply only. Water temperature cannot exceed 100°F (38°C).
- Do Not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the
filter.

for future reference for parts, maintenance or trouble-shooting.
Inline Filter Specifications:

Inlet/Outlet Connections: .14 = 1/4” fnpt , .38 = 3/8”fnpt Service Flow Rate: 0.5 gpm (1.9 lpm)
Service Life (capacity): ILTO-10.38 - 1,500 gals. (5,766 L.)
OR 6 months, whichever comes first.
Installation Precautions
• Do NOT install the Inline Filter behind equipment where it may be difficult to access for filter replacement.
• If water hammer is evident, install water hammer arrestors before the Inline Filter.
• Do NOT install filter on Hot water line or water lines with pressures greater than 125 psi.
• Do NOT solder plumbing connections attached to filter. Inlet threads will be damaged by excessive heat.
• Always back-up valves and fittings with a wrench when tightening compression or flare nuts to avoid overtightening
threads in filter.
Installation Procedure
1. Turn off all equipment to be fed by the Supera® Inline Filter.
2. Locate water supply cut-off valve and turn off.
3. Install a water supply valve in line near filter on the water supply side that will feed the Inline Filter.
4. Install the appropriate tubing adapter in the inlet and outlet of the Inline Filter using 2-3 wraps of Teflon Tape and
tighten firmly.
5. Run the appropriate line from the water supply to the inlet side of the Inline Filter.
6. Open water supply valve to flush Inline Filter to drain for 10 minutes at .5 gpm or 5 gals. total. Turn off water supply.
7. Connect outlet of Inline Filter to equipment using appropriate tubing.
8. Open all water supply valves and check for leaks.
9. If no leaks turn on equipment and check for normal operation.
10. Label Inline Filter with Install Date and Installed or Replaced by: with your company name.
