provides information necessary for the proper care and maintenanc e of your new room a ir conditioner.
If properly maintained, your a ir conditioner will give you many years of trouble free operation. T o avoid

1. All wiring must comply with local a nd national
electrical codes and mus t be ins talled by a
licensed electrician. O nce you have any
ques tions regarding the following instructions,
contact a licens ed electrician.

2. Check available power supply and re solve any
wiring problems B E FOR E ins talling and opera ting
this unit.

3. For your s afety and protection, this unit is
grounded through the power cord when
plugged into a matching wall outlet. If you a re
no t s ure whether your wa ll outlet is properly
grounded, pleas e con s ult a lic ens ed
elec tric ian .

4. The wall outlet(3-pin) mus t match the plug
(3-pin) on the power cord supplied with the unit.
DO NO T use plug a dapters or extension cords.

If the air conditioner has a s erial plate rating
of 115 volts and up to and including 7.5 amps
the unit maybe on a fus e or circuit breaker
with other devices. However, the maximum
amps of all devices on that fuse or circuit
brea ker can not e xceed the amps of the fus e
of circuit breaker.

If the air conditioner has a s erial plate rating
of 115 volts and grea ter than 7.5 amps it
must have its own fuse or circuit breaker,
and no other device or unit s hould be
opera ted on the fuse or circuit breaker.

To avoid the poss ibility of pers onal injury,
disconnect the power to the unit before
installing or servicing.

5. The rating plate on the unit contains electrica l
and other technical data. The rating plate is loca ted
on the right s ide of the unit.
