When using your garment steamer, basic safety precautions should always be followed:

1. Read all instructions before using the garment steamer.

2. To reduce the risk of contact with hot water emitting from the steam vents, check appliance before
each use by holding it away from body and operating steam button.

3. Use garment steamer only for its intended use.

4. To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse the garment steamer in water or other
liquids.

5. Never yank cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.

Removing the Water Tank:

Press the water tank release button and pull the handle and button
assembly away from the body of the steamer.

Tap water may be used; however, in areas of the country where the water
is very hard, we recommend the use of demineralized or distilled water
to prolong the steaming life of your appliance.

DO NOT use water passed through home water softening systems
because such water contains minerals that my be harmful to the garment

Hang the creased article of clothing on a clothes hanger. Pull the clothing
lightly with one hand, place the appliance over the creased area. Gently
press the appliance against the clothing, and press and release the Shot
of Steam® button about every 2 seconds as described above. In this way,
steam will penetrate right into the fabric, and not just pass over the surface.
Now move the appliance down over the fabric. When doing so, press the
Shot of Steam® button as described and at the same time smooth the
