Cornering Responsiveness
The WRX has all the hardware needed to corner with grace
and speed. Starting with the suspension, the WRX has an
enviable setup—a rigid unibody chassis with reinforced
suspension mounting points, aluminum front lower control
arms with pillow-ball joint mounts, and a double wishbone
rear suspension architecture with pillow-ball joint bushings.
Add Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Active Torque
Vectoring, and you’ve got a recipe for world-class handling.
Having excellent grip is only half of the handling
equation. The other is the driver’s sensation of control
and precision, which the WRX delivers, thanks to a near-
instant 14.4:1 steering ratio

Cornering Responsiveness
The WRX STI is laser-focused on handling with a track-tuned
suspension that features standard inverted front struts and
aluminum front lower control arms for low unsprung weight,
an attribute further enhanced by its lightweight 19-inch alloy
wheels. And it’s all underpinned by Subaru Symmetrical AWD
with a newly revised Driver Controlled Center Differential
(DCCD), front and rear limited-slip differentials and Active
Torque Vectoring, so you can hit your apexes and nail your
exits with control, precision and speed.
The WRX STI driving experience is a synergy between
driver and car that’s all too rare. You’ll feel an invigorating
sense of control, thanks to the ultra-quick 13.3:1 steering
ratio, rigid unibody chassis and powerful Brembo

high-
performance braking system, which features 6-piston front
and 2-piston rear monoblock calipers and cross-drilled
rotors to stop you with authority and reduced brake fade.
For more stability at higher speeds, the signature rear wing of
