WARNING

• It is important that you read this user manual BEFORE installing your seat. Incorrect installation could endanger your child.

• KEEP this user manual with the seat for later use.

• It is NOT ALLOWED to mount the seat in a front passenger seat WITH AN ACTIVATED AIRBAG.

• The seat can only be installed rearward-facing with a 3-point car belt, approved according to UN/ECE Regulation No.16 or other equivalent standards.

Stokke® iZi Go™ by BeSafe® is approved for group 0+, rearward-facing from 0-13 kg.

• If the child weighs over 13 kg or his shoulder height reaches above the highest position of the shoulder straps, you will need to change to a group 1 seat.

• The child must always be secured with the internal harness straps when seated in the child seat. The same applies to carrying the seat and when using in combination with a stroller.

• The seat cover contains magnets in the areas with the orange indications. Magnets can inuence electronic equipment such as pacemakers.

• The seat must always be replaced following an accident. Although it may look undamaged, in the event of another accident, it might not be able to protect your child as well as it should.

• Prevent the seat from becoming trapped or weighed down by luggage, seats and/ or slamming doors.

• Before every use, make sure the harness is not damaged or twisted.

•

Make sure you can t no more than one nger between the harness and your baby (1cm).

• Make sure the car safety belt buckle runs in a straight line and stays below the belt hook of the seat.

WARNING

•

DO NOT use the seat positioned in the vehicle, with the carrying handle in a downward position. The handle must be in the vertical carrying position while driving.

• Only use the seat on forward facing seats.

• DO NOT attempt to dismantle, modify or add any part to the seat. The warranty will not be honoured if non-original parts or accessories are used.

• DO NOT use anything, such as a cushion, to raise the child seat o the passenger seat of the vehicle. In the event of an accident the seat will not be able to protect your child properly.

• Make sure all passengers are informed about how to release your child in case of emergency.

• An unoccupied child seat should always be fastened in the vehicle.

• Make sure luggage or other objects are properly secured. Unsecured luggage may cause severe injuries to children and adults in the event of an accident.

• Never use the seat without the cover. The cover is a safety feature and may only be replaced by an original BeSafe cover.

• We use EPS foam under the cover. Do not push or pull too hard against the foam, since you might damage the foam.

• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents; these may harm the construction material of the seat.

• BeSafe advises that child seats should not be bought or sold second-hand.

• DO NOT use the seat for longer than 5 years. The quality of the material may change with ageing.

• DO NOT use at home on a table or worktop, if your child is seated in the seat.

• When the child seat is mounted in the car check all the areas where the child seat might touch the interior. We recommend using a (BeSafe) protection cover in these places to avoid cuts, marks or discolouration on the interior of the vehicle, especially in vehicles with leather or wooden interior.

• Make sure both 3-point-belt and child safety belt are tightened rmly, in order to prevent any unwanted dislocation of child or the seat. Check frequently.

• All passengers must be fastened by a safety belt.

• Never use the two wheel function when the seat is attached to a Stokke® Xplory®.

Always make sure the seat is properly attached when used on a stroller from Stokke. Failure to attach properly could result in serious injury or death to your

child.

• When the seat is attached to the chassis of a stroller from Stokke, the combination should never be lifted up by the car seat.

Installation in the car

It is NOT ALLOWED to mount the seat in a front

passenger seat WITH AN ACTIVATED AIRBAG.

1. Position the seat on the vehicle seat. Make sure the carrying handle is in the carrying position.

2. Guide the hip belt of the 3-point-belt over the blue parts through the hip belt hooks and fasten the seat belt with a ‘click’.

3. Guide the shoulder belt over the blue part through the shoulder belt hook at the

rear side of the seat shell.

4. Tighten the 3-point belt by pulling the belt through the hip belt hooks and through the shoulder belt hook until it is really tight.

5. Leave the carrying handle in carrying position.

6. Positioned in the back seat of the vehicle, you should push the front seat of the vehicle backwards, so that it is in contact with the child seat. Positioned in the front seat , you should push the front seat forwards, so that the child seat is in contact with the dashboard. If this is not possible, leave a space of minimum 25 cm between child seat and back rest of the front seat or dashboard.

• To position your child, you can fold the carrying handle behind the seat in 2 positions, by pressing both handle release buttons.

• Position the shoulder straps: Check that the shoulder strap slots are levelled with your child's shoulders.

• The height of the shoulder straps can be adjusted by pulling the harness height adjuster out and moving the adjuster up or down.

1. Pull the shoulder straps up while pressing the button of the central adjuster.

2. Open the harness buckle.

3. Position the shoulder straps over the orange marking at sides of the seat to keep

the harness open while you position the child.

4. When the child is positioned, place the shoulder straps over the child›s shoulders and close the buckle: click!

• Remove the shoulder belt from the shoulder belt hook at the rear side.

• Release the belt from the buckle in the car and remove the belt from the hip belt hooks.

• Pay attention when you remove the cover, as tting the cover is done in the opposite way.

• Take o the headrest and the baby cushion.

• Open the zippers. Do not remove the harness straps from the hooks in the seat.

• Take o the complete cover by pulling it carefully from the foam.

Ret the cover

• Pull the harness straps through the openings in the cover and close the zippers.

• Pull the buckle through the crotch strap cover and pull the hole for the central adjuster over the central adjuster.

• Fix the cover at all sides by putting it carefully between the foam and seat shell.

Cleaning instructions

The covers of the Stokke® iZi Go™ by BeSafe® must be washed in accordance with the instructions on the inside of the covers. Clean harness by hand with water and mild soap.

Using the Stokke® iZi Go™ by BeSafe® with a stroller from Stokke

The Stokke® iZi Go™ by BeSafe® can only be used on the following strollers: Stokke® Xplory®, Stokke® Crusi and Stokke® Scoot.

Installation on a stroller

Align the stroller adapter house above the adapters of the stroller and move straight down, click (2x) !

• Move the carrying handle into carrying position.

• Push the stroller release up at both sides while lifting the seat vertically from the stroller.

Guarantee

• All BeSafe products are carefully designed, manufactured and tested. All our BeSafe child seats are tested periodically during ow production in our test laboratory. Furthermore they are tested by independent test institutes.

• Should this product prove faulty within 24 months of purchase due to materials or manufacturing fault, except covers and harness straps, please return it to the original place of purchase.

• The guarantee is valid only if you use your seat properly and with care. Please contact your dealer and he will decide whether the seat will be returned to the manufacturer for repair. Replacement or return cannot be claimed. Repair of the product does not extend the guarantee.

• The guarantee is cancelled in the following situations: if there is no receipt, if aws are caused by incorrect and improper use, if the aws are caused by abuse, misuse or negligence.

• BEWAHREN Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung zur späteren Verwendung zusammen mit dem Kindersitz auf.

• Der Kindersitz darf NICHT an einem Beifahrersitz MIT AKTIVIERTEM AIRBAG befestigt werden.

• Der Sitz darf nur nach rückwärts gerichtet eingesetzt werden, mit einem Dreipunkt-Sicherheitsgurt, der den Vorschriften der UN/ECE Regelung 16 oder anderen gleichwertigen Normen entspricht.

• Stokke® iZi Go™ by BeSafe® ist zugelassen für die Altersgruppe 0+, rückwärts gerichtet, 0-13 kg.

• Wenn das Kind mehr als 13 kg wiegt oder die Schultern über die höchste Position der Schultergurte hinausragen, muss auf einen Kindersitz der Gruppe 1 umgestellt werden.

• Das Kind muss immer mit dem integrierten Sicherheitsgurt gesichert sein, wenn es im Kindersitz sitzt oder darin getragen wird und bei Verwendung in Kombination mit einem Kinderwagenuntergestell.

• Der Bezug hat in den Bereichen mit der orangefarbenen Markierung Magnete. Magnete können elektronische Geräte wie z. B. Herzschrittmacher beeinussen.

• Nach einem Unfall muss der Kindersitz ausgetauscht werden. Auch wenn er unbeschädigt erscheint, kann es sein, dass der Sitz Ihrem Kind keinen optimalen Schutz mehr bietet.

• Vermeiden Sie, dass der iZi Go zum Beispiel durch Gepäck, Sitze und/oder schließende Türen eingeklemmt oder belastet wird.

• Prüfen Sie vor jeder Benutzung, ob die Gurte nicht beschädigt oder verdreht sind.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass der Raum zwischen Ihrem Kind und den Gurten nicht mehr als eine Fingerbreite (1 cm) beträgt.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass das Autogurtschloss geradlinig und unter der Gurtführung des iZi Go verläuft.

ACHTUNG!

• Sitz NICHT im Auto verwenden, wenn der Tragegri nach unten zeigt. Der Gri muss während der Fahrt in der vertikalen Trageposition sein.

• Nur auf nach vorne gerichteten Sitzen verwenden.

• Es dürfen KEINE Teile des Sitzes entfernt, verändert oder hinzugefügt werden. Bei Verwendung nicht-originaler Ersatz- oder Zubehörteile erlischt die Garantie.

• Zwischen Beifahrersitz und Kindersitz dürfen KEINE anderen Gegenstände (wie ein Kissen) gelegt werden. Bei einem Unfall kann der Kindersitz sonst nicht den notwendigen Schutz bieten.

• Sorgen Sie dafür, dass alle Fahrzeuginsassen darüber informiert sind, wie das Kind im Notfall aus dem Kindersitz herausgenommen werden muss.

• Ein unbenutzter Kindersitz muss immer festgeschnallt sein.

• Gepäckstücke und andere Gegenstände müssen ausreichend gesichert sein. Durch ungesicherte Gepäckstücke könnten Kinder und Erwachsene bei einem Zusammenstoß schwer verletzt werden.

• Der Kindersitz darf nie ohne Bezug verwendet werden. Der Bezug trägt wesentlich zur Sicherheit des Sitzes bei und darf nur mit einem Originalbezug von BeSafe ersetzt werden.

• Unter dem Bezug bendet sich EPS-Schaumsto. Drücken oder ziehen Sie nicht zu heftig am Schaumsto, da Sie ihn dadurch beschädigen könnten.

• Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel. Diese könnten das Material des Kindersitzes angreifen.

• BeSafe rät von der Verwendung eines gebrauchten Kindersitzes ab.

• Den Kindersitz höchstens 5 Jahre verwenden. Die Eigenschaften des Materials können sich durch den Alterungsprozess verändern.

• Stellen Sie den Kindersitz NICHT auf einen Tisch oder eine Arbeitsäche, solange sich das Kind im Kindersitz bendet.

• Wenn der Kindersitz im Fahrzeug befestigt ist, überprüfen Sie alle Stellen, an denen der Kindersitz das Fahrzeuginnere berührt. Wir empfehlen die Verwendung eines (BeSafe) Schutzüberzugs für diese Stellen, um Kratzer, Druckstellen oder Verfärbungen am Fahrzeuginneren zu verhindern, insbesondere bei Fahrzeugen mit Lederbezügen oder Holzverkleidungen.

• Darauf achten, dass sowohl der Dreipunktgurt als auch der Kindersicherheitsgurt stra sitzen, um ein Verrutschen des Sitzes oder des Kindes zu vermeiden. Dies regelmäßig überprüfen.

• Alle Insassen müssen Sicherheitsgurte anlegen.

• Nie die Zweiradfunktion verwenden, wenn der Sitz an einem Stokke® Xplory® befestigt ist.

• Immer darauf achten, dass der Sitz korrekt befestigt ist, wenn er auf einem Kinderwagengestell von Stokke verwendet wird. Eine nicht ordnungsgemäße Befestigung kann zu einer ernsthaften oder gar tödlichen Verletzung Ihres Kindes führen.

• Wenn der Sitz auf dem Kinderwagengestell von Stokke befestigt ist, darf die Kombination nie am Autositz angehoben werden.

• Das Kind immer aus dem Sitz nehmen, wenn Einstellungen des Kinderwagengestells oder des Autositzes verändert werden.

• Vor dem Tragen immer darauf achten, dass sich der Tragegri in der Tragestellung bendet.

• Bei Fragen wenden Sie sich bitte an ihren Fachhändler oder den Hersteller.
