MARINE GRADE UNIVERSAL RGB LED STRIP - 5 METERS

The SPXRGB5 light strip can be cut every 2 inches and
installed with 3M peel-and-stick adhesive backing. The light
strip operates within an 11-14.8 VDC range and can be
used stand alone for basic solid colors or with the Stinger
SPXRGBC RGB Controller for multiple color-changing
options and lighting effects.

Basic Wiring

1. Cut light strip to length at solder pads indicated by the
scissor icon and line. Fig A

2. Remove rubber coating and adhesive from the front and
back of the solder pads.

3. If using a RGB controller, solder the 4 control wires (FIG.B).
For a solid color, refer to to the table below and solder
appropriate wires.

• 5 Meters / 16.4 Feet

• 60 5050 LEDs per meter

• Voltage: 11-14.8 VDC,

• Current Draw: 1.2A per meter

R and B to Ground will illuminate Purple.

4. When soldering, tin both the wire and the LED solder pad for best results.
After wire connections are made, insulate with heat shrink. (FIG. C)

5. If wiring direct, without a controller, you must fuse the +12V power source with
a fuse. 3 to 5 amp fuse recomended.

LIMITED WARRANTY:
Stinger warrants this product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of
one (1) years from the original date of purchase. This warranty is not transferable and applies
only to the original purchaser from an authorized Stinger dealer in the United States of America
only. Should service be necessary under this warranty for any reason due to manufacturing
defect or malfunction, Stinger will (at its discretion), repair or replace the defective product with
new or remanufactured product at no charge. Damage caused by the following is not covered
under warranty: accident, misuse, abuse, product modification or neglect, failure to follow
installation instructions, unauthorized repair attempts, misrepresentations by the seller. This
warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages and does not cover the cost of
removing or reinstalling the unit(s). Cosmetic damage due to accident or normal wear and tear
is not covered under warranty.

INTERNATIONAL WARRANTIES:
Products purchased outside the United States of America are covered only by that country’s
Authorized Stinger reseller and not by Stinger. Consumers needing service or warranty informa­tion for these products must contact that country’s reseller for information.
