RESIDENTIAL
DIRECT SOLAR BOOSTER WATER HEATERS

State Select water heating system or for use with external heat exchangers in closed loop systems. They provide storage for the hot water produced by the solar panels and a supplementary electric heating element that maintains consistent water temperature during periods when solar energy is not available. Count on State for products that provide hot water solutions for residential renewable energy applications.

• Side and top connections for open loop systems or closed loop systems using an external heat exchanger

• 4500 watt heating element – long lasting low-watt density spreads wattage over larger surface area to prolong element life and maximize efficiency
• Prewired for surface mount temperature sensor (sensor supplied separately)

TANK CONSTRUCTION
• Glasslined Steel Tank –glass lining protects against corrosion to maximize tank life
• 2 Inch thick “Environmentally-Friendly” Non-CFC Foam insulation (R16 Value) reduces standby heat loss
PREMIUM ANODE ROD
• Aluminum anode with stainless steel core protects tank against corrosion
PEXAN™ DIFFUSER DIP TUBE
• Helps reduce lime and sediment buildup to maximize hot water output
• Made from long-lasting PEX cross-linked polymer
FACTORY-INSTALLED CSA CERTIFIED AND ASME RATED T&P RELIEF VALVE
DURABLE TAMPER-RESISTANT BRASS DRAIN VALVE
CODES AND STANDARDS
Meets Federal Energy Efficiency Standards effective January 20, 2004, according to the National Energy Conservation Act (NAECA) of 1922, and meets standby loss requirements of the U.S. Department of Energy and current edition of ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1, current editions of ICC Codes and HUD Standards. Complies with California legislation Act AB 1953 and Vermont legislation Act 193 that limits the lead content in plumbing fixtures that come into contact with drinking water to a maximum of 0.25%.
