INSTALLATION:
INSTALLATION:
Water Temperature Sensor Replacement Parts
1. Remove old Sensor and cable.
2. Use existing clamp to install new Sensor into plumbing
3. Run cable to the Power Center and connect to existing WATER
temperature screw terminals: RED to (+) and GREEN to (–).
Solar Temperature Sensor
1. For unglazed panels, fasten Sensor next to solar panels. For
glazed panels, suspend Sensor between collector and glazing.
2. Run a 2-conductor 22 AWG cable from the sensor to the Power
Center. At the Sensor, cut off excess cable and use crimp
connectors (included) to provide waterproof connections. Insert
the 2 wires to be connected into the connector and squeeze the
connector with a pair of pliers. NOTE: Do not strip wires.
3. At the Power Center circuit board, connect Sensor wires to the
SOLAR screw terminals, RED to (+) and GREEN to (–).
Freeze Temperature Sensor for Cp3800, Cp3600, Cp3400, Cp3810,
Cp3820 and Cp3830
1. Cut cable to approximately 2 ft. so that Sensor will hang from
the bottom of Power Center. If necessary, Sensor may be
located further from Power Center.

3. If the Sensor will be located at a distance from the Power
Center, run a 2-conductor cable between the Sensor and the
Power Center. At the Sensor, use crimp connectors (included)
to provide waterproof connections. Before making connections,
cut off stripped ends of cable. Insert the 2 wires to be connected
into the connector and squeeze the connector with a pair of
pliers. NOTE: Do not strip wires.
