Traditional sand filters can only remove particles in the 50–100 micron range, but Tagelus® sand filter with ClearPro Technology™ removes particles up to five times smaller…well below what your eye can detect. And that’s the difference between a clean pool and one that truly sparkles with clarity.

The secret is a proprietary component inside the filter—an exclusive porous tube water must pass through before re-entering your pool. It creates a final barrier to the small par ticles sand cannot stop, including the finest dust particles, algae, and pollens. The result is a level of water clarity never before possible. In fact, Tagelus with ClearPro Technology achieves the same water clarity as legendary diatomaceous earth (D.E.) filters.

At the same time, Tagelus remains the blissfully simple filter that requires less maintenance than either cartridge or D.E. f ilters. Just an occasional backwashing with the turn of a valve is all it takes to keep Tagelus delivering the clearest water year after year.

Tagelus® filters have been installed in hundreds of thousands of pools for two primary reasons. First is their consistency of performance over time. Second, because they go about their work without making work for you. With ClearPro Technology™, performance is dramatically enhanced, but these same valued vir tues remain intact.

Tagelus filters provide years of service with only periodic

backwashing to remove trapped debris from the sand.

Easy does it. The six-position Hi-Flow™ valve has a manual air relief

valve and a sight glass to make inspection, routine maintenance and operation fast, easy and always safe. Pressure gauge also included.

A special “diffuser” creates a uniform sand bed that consistently

traps more dirt without impeding the water ow or letting it race through too fast—the result is more effective filtration and longer times between backwashing.

Combination sand and water drain speeds servicing and winterizing.

All internal parts are threaded for fast and easy service.
