Installation Instructions

NOTE: You can store your Key #, Serial # and Combination on Stack-On’s SECURE web site – www.stack-on.com under Service. Storing your Key # or Combination will provide instant access to this important information should you ever lose your keys or your combination. Only you will have access to this information.

IMPORTANT

Record the serial number from the tag on the back of the safe or from the tag on the front bottom corner of the safe.

Record and keep your combination in a secure place away from children.

Do not move this safe using its handle. The handle should only be used for opening and closing the door of the safe.

Installation of Scope Stand-off

NOTE: The scope stand-off will function properly for many combinations of guns with scopes.

WARNING

Tip Over Hazard

A child or adult can tip the safe and be killed or seriously injured.

Failure to secure the safe as shown in these instructions can result in death or serious injury to children and adults.

Children should not play with or around the safe at any time.

Screw the scope stand-off into the pilot hole of the barrel rest. (See figure 1)

SELECTING A LOCATION

For best results this safe should be installed in an isolated, dry and secure area.

For greater security the safe must be fastened to a solid surface with a minimum space on either side. (See figure 2) Ideally, full sized safes would be installed in the corner of a closet.

The safe should be flat against the wall and floor. (See figure 3) Remove the baseboard if necessary.

SECURING THE SAFE

Secure the safe to the wall or floor using the holes and hardware provided. (See figure 3) Note: For the holes in the back of the safe, drill a clearance hole through the liner board before installing the mounting hardware.

Mark the holes to be used. Drill the appropriate diameter and depth of pilot holes depending on the type of hardware being used and the type of mounting surface.

Secure the safe with the fasteners.

MINIMIUM

MODELS WITH OPTIONAL SHELVING

The shelving can be installed by locating the shelf clips to the desired locations and setting the shelf in place.

The top tray of the door organizer, which is included on select models, can be adjused by removing the two screws and relocating the tray.

Combination Number

HOW TO OPEN

1st

3 times (R) All numbers must be dialed exactly. If you pass a number, you can not back up. You must start over. All numbers are to be dialed to the Top Notch located on top of the dial ring (the 12 o'clock position).

1. Turn the Dial clockwise passing the first combination number twice landing on the

number the third time.

2. Now turn the Dial counterclockwise, passing the second combination number once

landing on the number on the next time around.

3. Turn the Dial clockwise until you reach the third combination number.

4. The handle should now be able to be released. Turn handle clockwise and pull the

door towards you.

Example: If the dial combination numbers were 70 - 50 - 30

HOW TO LOCK

1. Close the door.

2. Turn the handle to the locked position.

3. Turn the dial either direction a few rounds.

IMPORTANT

Keep your combination number in a secure place, away from children. Keep this record of your serial number and combination number in a secure place separate from your safe. If you forget or lose the combination number you will need the serial number as a reference for obtaining a copy of your combination number.

To obtain a copy of your combination number, follow the instructions on the attached form.

In order to receive a replacement key or obtain the combination to your security product:

4. Security product owner must sign form.

5. Owner’s signature must be notarized.

LIMITED THREE YEAR WARRANTY

STEEL SAFES

Stack-On Products Co. (“Stack-On”) Steel Safes are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of original purchase by a consumer. This warranty extends to the initial consumer only.

If you believe there is a defect in material or workmanship in your Steel Safe during the three-year warranty period, please contact our customer service department, by regular mail or email at the address listed below, and include with your correspondence proof of purchase information and the model number of the safe.

If Stack-On is properly notified during the three-year warranty period and, after inspection confirms there is a defect, Stack-On will, at its sole option, provide repair parts or exchange the product at no charge, or refund the purchase price of the product.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY PRODUCT, OR ANY PART OF ANY PRODUCT, WHICH HAS BEEN SUBJECT TO EXCESSIVE USE, ACCIDENT, NEGLIGENCE, ABUSE OR MISUSE, INCORRECT MAINTENANCE, ALTERATION OR REPAIR BY ANYONE OTHER THAN STACK-ON. IN ADDITION, THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY ACCESSORIES OR PARTS USED WITH OR IN THE PRODUCT WHICH ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WHICH ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED. STACK-ON’S LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, AS DESCRIBED ABOVE, OR A REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL STACK-ON’S OBLIGATION UNDER THIS WARRANTY EXCEED THE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.
