Portable Case

Instructions

Record your combination number.

Record the serial number from the tag on the front.

Keep keys in a secure place away from children. DO NOT store keys or your combination in the case.

GETTING STARTED

When you first receive your case you will need to open the cover with the key in order to install the batteries. Batteries are included and are located inside the case.

NOTE: This key has also been provided if you lose or forget your security code or the batteries run low. If you lose your key, you may purchase a replacement key by referencing the serial number located on the front of the case. See section regarding replacement keys for further information.

To open the case, insert key into lock and turn counterclockwise until the cover automatically opens. NOTE: You must turn the key back to the locked position before you are able to close and lock the cover.

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

NOTE: The key lock must be in the locked position before trying to remove the motor compartment to install the batteries.

Pull the foam liner back and remove the nuts to the motor compartment. Slide the compartment back and lift out. Install the (4) AAA akaline batteries as shown. Reinstall the compartment and the nuts. CAUTION: Be careful not to pinch any wires while reinstalling the motor compartment.

NOTE: If the batteries are low the red light will go on while the case is opening. Replace with 4 new AAA akaline batteries as shown.

PROGRAMMING YOUR OWN ELECTRONIC COMBINATION

For security you must program your own combination after opening the case.

Record this new combination on this form.

1.Press the Reset Button (5) located inside the case. Two “beeps” will sound.

2.Enter your own 3-8 button combination by pressing any combination of the 3 buttons. NOTE: A “beep will sound when the button is successfully pushed.

Example: (RIGHT) - (LEFT) - (CENTER) - (LEFT) - (RIGHT)

3.Press the Reset Button again. After two “beeps” your new combination is recorded.

OPENING THE CASE USING YOUR COMBINATION

1.Enter your combination using the buttons. If 2 “beeps” sounds and the green light goes on, the door will open. If an incorrect combination is entered 4 short “beeps” will sound.

NOTE: If you enter a wrong combination 3 times, the control pad will lock out for 5 minutes.

To close the case, push the cover closed until locked.

SECURING THE CASE WITH THE CABLE

To secure the case to a fixed object, loop the cable around the object and place the cable’s small end into the notch on the side of the case. Locking the case will secure the cable end in the case.

IMPORTANT

Keep keys and your combination number in a secure place, away from children. Keep this record of your serial number and combination in a secure place separate from your case. To order a replacement key set, follow the instructions on the attached form.

LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY

STEEL SECURITY CABINETS AND PISTOL BOXES

Stack-On Products Co. (“Stack-On”) Steel Security Cabinets and Pistol Boxes, are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase by a consumer. This warranty extends to the initial consumer only.

If you believe there is a defect in material or workmanship in your Steel Security Cabinet or Pistol Box, during the one-year warranty period, please contact our customer service department, by regular mail or email at the address listed below, and include with your correspondence proof of purchase information and the model number of the product.

If Stack-On is properly notified during the one-year warranty period and, after inspection confirms there is a defect, Stack-On will, at its sole option, provide repair parts or exchange the product at no charge, or refund the purchase price of the product.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY PRODUCT, OR ANY PART OF ANY PRODUCT, WHICH HAS BEEN SUBJECT TO EXCESSIVE USE, ACCIDENT, NEGLIGENCE, ABUSE OR MISUSE, INCORRECT MAINTENANCE, ALTERATION OR REPAIR BY ANYONE OTHER THAN STACK-ON. IN ADDITION, THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY ACCESSORIES OR PARTS USED WITH OR IN THE PRODUCT, WHICH ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WHICH ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED. STACK-ON’S LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, AS DESCRIBED ABOVE, OR A REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL STACK-ON’S OBLIGATION UNDER THIS WARRANTY EXCEED THE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.
