IMPORTANT
CONTROL FEATURES
When you rst receive your case you will need to open the cover with the key in order to install the baeries. Baeries are included and are located inside the case.
NOTE: is key has also been provided if you lose or forget your security code or the baeries run low. If you lose your key, you may purchase a replacement key by referencing the serial number located on the front of the case. See section regarding replacement keys for further information.
To open the case, insert key into lock and turn counterclockwise until the cover automatically opens. NOTE: You must turn the key back to the locked position before you are able to close and lock the cover.

Storing your Key # will provide instant access to this important information, should you ever lose your keys or need the number to order a new set. Only you will have access to this information.

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
NOTE: If the baeries are low the red light will go on while the case is opening. Replace with 4 new AAA alkaline baeries as shown.
NOTE: Do not mix old and new baeries. Do not mix alkaline, standard or rechargeable baeries.
When you rst install the baeries, you can open the case by pressing the START buon (2). For security you must record your ngerprint aer you install the baeries so the safe will read only the recorded ngerprints.
In order to improve the rate of ngerprint identication please follow these suggestions:
Record several of your ngerprints in case you
sustain a cut or an injury to a nger you have scanned.
Make sure your entire ngerprint crosses the
scanner.
Use a similar scanning motion when opening the
safe.
If your hands have oil, lotion or are dirty the
ngerprints may not scan correctly.
TIPS FOR RECORDING FINGERPRINTS
Scan your nger by
sliding it over the scanner in a straight and even manner from back to front taking 1 to 2 seconds to make the scan.

Pull the foam upward and away from the baery compartment. Remove the baery compartment by pushing the tab and pulling the compartment out as shown. Install (4) AAA alkaline baeries as shown. Reinstall the compartment by hooking the back end in place and snapping shut. CAUTION: Be careful not to pinch any wires while reinstalling the baery compartment.

Repeat scanning the same nger while listening for the single “beep” for each successful scan. As you continue to scan, the scanner is “learning” your ngerprint. Aer a minimum of 5 scans and possibly many more, the safe will eventually “beep” 2 times indicating the ngerprint has successfully been recorded.
1. To record a ngerprint, press the Reset Buon (6). One “beep” will sound and the green light will start to ash.
If the nger scan happens to fail, the red light will ash and there will be 4 “beeps”. Continue to scan aer the green light goes on but be aware that 3 failed scans will result in the termination of the recording session. You will then have to start over from step 1.
2. While the green light is ashing, slide a nger across the scanner. When you hear a single “beep”, the scan has been successful.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to record up to 28 ngerprints. If you try to record more than 28 ngerprints, the red light will ash and there will be 4 “beeps”.
For security you must record your ngerprint. You can record up to 28 ngerprints

OPENING THE CASE USING A RECORDED FINGERPRINT
e scan has been successful if there are 2 “beep” and the green light ashes. e case cover will open.
1. Press the START buon (2). ere will be a one “beep” and the green light will go on.
2. Slide a recorded nger across the scanner while the green is on.
To close the case, push the cover closed until locked.

If the nger scan happens to fail, the red light will ash and there will be 4 “beeps”. Try to scan your nger again aer the green light goes on but be aware that 3 failed scans will result in the scanner shuing down. You will then have to start over from step 1.

SECURING THE CASE WITH THE CABLE

CLEARING THE MEMORY OF ALL RECORDED FINGERPRINTS
NOTE: Aer you delete all the recorded ngerprints, your safe will open by pressing the START buon (2). For security you must record your ngerprint so the safe will read only the recorded ngerprints.
When you replace the baeries the recorded ngerprints will not be erased.
Press and hold the Reset Buon (6) and then press the START buon (2). When there are 2 “beeps” and the red light ashes, all the ngerprints have been deleted.

IMPORTANT Keep keys in a secure place, away from children. Keep this record of your serial number in a secure place separate from your case. To order a replacement key set, follow the instructions on the aached form.

To secure the case to a xed object, loop the cable around the object and place the cable’s small end into the notch on the side of the case. Locking the case will secure the cable end in the case.
For optimal performance, the case should be installed in an isolated, dry and secure area
NOTE: is case is designed to be secured with a cable that is aached to a xed object. Failure to to do so will compromise the safety and security of the case.
THE CASE SHOULD ALWAYS BE KEPT OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
NOTE ON LOCKING THE CASE: e case needs to be in an upright position, as shown in gure 1, for optimum performance. Failure to store the case in the correct upright position will compromise the safety and security of the case.
NOTE: is unit is not an approved California Department of of Justice rearm safety device.

LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY
STEEL CABINETS AND PISTOL CASES
Stack-On Products Co. (“Stack-On”) Steel Cabinets and Pistol Cases, are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase by a consumer. This warranty extends to the initial consumer only.
If you believe there is a defect in material or workmanship in your Steel Cabinet or Pistol Case, during the one-year warranty period, please contact our customer service department, by regular mail or email at the address listed below, and include with your correspondence proof of purchase information and the model number of the product.

If Stack-On is properly notified during the one-year warranty period and, after inspection confirms there is a defect, Stack-On will, at its sole option, provide repair parts or exchange the product at no charge, or refund the purchase price of the product.
