I. INTRODUCTION
This probe is well suited for use with HVAC systems or when measuring
high or low air velocity. The low friction vane wheel assures a high degree
of accuracy. Measures air speed and temperature in units of m/s, km/h,
ft/min, knots, mile/h, °C and °F. With the plug-and-play feature of this
probe, calibration procedures are not required. The meter features Hold,
Max./Min, RS232 and Auto Shut Off.

III. MEASUREMENT PROCEDURES

Plug probe into the PROBE INPUT SOCKET.
•
Make sure the PROBE LOCK is in the lock position
•
Turn on the instrument by pressing the POWER button.

Holding the VANE PROBE HANDLE, aim the yellow point on the VANE
PROBE HEAD
•
Press the K/J (B) button to select the unit of measure: m/s, hm/h, ft/min,
toward the source to be measured.

• Press the °C/°F (A) button to select Centigrade or Fahrenheit. The
temperature is on the bottom-right of the LCD.

Sper Scientific warrants this product against defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase, and
agrees to repair or replace any defective unit without charge. If your
model has since been discontinued, an equivalent Sper Scientific product
will be substituted if available. This warranty does not cover damage
resulting from accident, misuse, or abuse of the product. In order to obtain
