Some of the following symbols may be used on your tool. Be sure to study them and learn their meaning. Proper interpretation of these symbols will allow you to use the machine more effectively and reduce the risk of accident.
WARNING! Incorrect or careless use of a hedge trimmer can turn it into a dangerous tool that can cause serious or even fatal injury. It is extremely important that you read and understand the contents of this operator’s manual.
Please read the operator’s manual carefully and make sure you understand the instructions before using the machine.
Always wear: Approved hearing protection and approved eye protection
Conforms to relevant EU directives.
Always wear approved protective gloves. Wear sturdy, non-slip boots or shoes.
Regular cleaning is required.
Noise emission to the environment according to the European Community’s Directive. The machine’s emission is specied in chapter Technical data and on label. Other symbols/decals on the machine refer to special certication requirements for certain markets.
Always use clean, fresh unleaded petrol.
Switch off the engine by moving the stop switch to
STOP
the STOP position before carrying out any checks or maintenance.
Push primer bulb, fully and slowly, 8-10 times.
Refer to operator’s manual for the proper type of oil.
WARNING: Do not touch a hot mufer or cylinder. You may got burned. These parts get extremely hot from operation. When turned off they remain hot for a short time.
Set the choke button in the choke position.

to wear eye protection. If you are approached, stop the engineand cutting attachment. In the case of bladed units, there is the added risk of injury to bystanders from being struck with the moving blade in the event of a blade thrust orother unexpected reaction of the saw. Do not operate in poor lighting. Keep rm footing and balance. Do not over reach. Overreaching can result in loss of balance or exposure to hot surfaces. Keep all parts of your body away from any moving part. To avoid hot surfaces, never operate the unit with the bottom of the engine above waist level. Do not touch area around the mufer or cylinder of the unit, these parts get hot
from operation. Contact with hot surfaces could result in possible serious personal injury. Always stop the engine and remove the spark plug wire before making any adjustments or repairs except for carburetor adjustments.

ASSEMBLE
The hedge trimmer has been assembled in the standard delivery so no need for extra assembling steps.
PREPARE
1
Add engine lubricant Oil: Initial use
1) Set the unit on a at surface.
2) Remove the oil cap from the machine
3) Pour 60ml 4 stroke garden engine oil
into lubricant cup. (Oil type:SAE 10W30)
4) Add lubricant oil from the cup into the
lubricant oil tank.
5) Screw and tighten the oil cap.
WARNING: OVERFILLING THE CRANKCASE MAY CAUSE SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY. Check the oil level before each use. The importance of maintaining the proper oil level cannot be overemphasized. Change the oil according to the Maintenance Schedule. Use 4 stroke garden engine oil. DO NOT use dirty oil. Failure to use clean oil of the correct type can cause premature engine wear and failure.

Fueling
Position the unit with the fuel cap facing up.Remove the fuel cap.
Place the fuel container spout into the ll hole on the fuel tank and ll the tank.
Wipe up any petrol that may have spilled. Re­install the fuel cap.move the unit at least 30 ft. (9.1 m) from the fuel container and the fueling site before starting the engine.

The use of old fuel is the most common cause of performance problems. Use only fresh, clean unleaded gasoline.
NOTE: This unit has a 4-stroke engine. DO NOT mix oil with gasoline.
WARNING: Add fuel in a clean, well-ventilated outdoor area. Wipe up any spilled fuel immediately. Avoid creating a source of ignition for spilled fuel. Do not start the engine until fuel vapors dissipate. Remove the fuel cap slowly to avoid injury from fuel spray. Never operate the unit without the fuel cap securely in place. Gasoline is extremely ammable. Ignited vapors may explode. Always stop the engine and allow it to cool before lling the fuel tank. Do not smoke while lling the tank. Keep sparks and open ames at a distance from the area.
Rotary handle

The hedge trimmer’s rear handle can be set in three positions by press down the button on the handle.
When the handle is adjusted the hedge trimmer should be idling or not running.
While working the handle should always be facing upwards irrespective of how the hedge trimmer is directed.

Check the cutting attachment. Remove the blade cover before use and never use blades that are dull, cracked or damaged. the machine is in perfect working order. And all nuts and screws are tight and well

OPERATE
To restart a warm engine:
Press the on/off switch, Quickly pull the recoil starter handle until the engine runs.
Hold the body of the machine on the ground using your left hand (CAUTION! Not with your foot!). Grip the starter handle, slowly pull out the cord with your right hand until you feel some resistance (the starter pawls grip), now quickly and powerfully pull the cord. Never twist the starter cord around your hand.

Always use both hands to hold the machine with protection gloves. Hold the machine in front of your body. Make sure that your hands and feet do not come near the cutting attachment when the engine is running.
Notice:Hold the product rmly so that it sits with a gap between the product and your right side.
Stand upright, do not lean forward and pay attention to posture. Keep both feet apart to help retain your balance.
Squeeze throttle to start cutting

Squeeze the throttle lockout 1 rstly, then press 2 to make the choke button come back to the run position. And engine will run.
Note: the choke button will automatically come back to the run position while you squeezing the throttle trigger.
If the engine does not run, please repeat above steps.
Allow the engine to run for 10 seconds and now you can use the machine.

Adjust the handle to ts the intended cut and start the product. Move the cutting device lightly through the cutting surface in a sweeping motion following the shape of the hedge or shrub. A slight tilt downwards of the cutting device in the direction of motion is recommended for optimum cutting performance.
WARNING: Always wear eye, hearing, hand, foot and body protection to reduce the risk of injury when operating this unit.
WARNING: To prevent serious personal injury, avoid arm contact with the engine while operating the unit. The engine may be extremely hot.

MAINTENANCE
The correct and regular cleaning is not only important for the safe use of this product, but also extends its life span.
Warning! Always switch off the engine and wait for cooling down of engine.
Please remove the dust, debris etc. from machine after every application. Clean the machine with a wet cloth. For cleaning difcult to reach areas use a brush.
You may use pressurized air to remove persistent dust.
Note: Do not use chemical, acid, alkaline, grinding or other aggressive cleaning agents. They could destroy the surface of the product.
Warning! Always switch off the engine and wait for cooling down of engine. Inspection and maintenance item and interval by operator
Exhaust gases and fuel fumes are noxious. Fuel fumes can ignite. Never use the product in environments where there is a risk of explosion.
Never breathe in any fuel fumes, when you are refuelling the product. Never ll the tank in enclosed spaces, such as basements or sheds. There is a risk of poisoning and explosion!

MAINTENANCE
1.Clean machine body
Clean the machine shell, handle and some plastic covers after working, care some necessary parts with clean cloth,extend the life of product.
Install the blade cover when you store for long time.
When install blade cover,you need to squeeze the cover carefully,and easy to insert.
2.Check engine lubricant level before each use:
1)Separate the attachment from the power head.
2)Set power head on a at level surface with shaft parallel to surface.
3)Unscrew the oil cap and remove.
4)Lubricant level should fall within the top of oil ll hole (the top of screw thread).
5)If level is low, add engine lubricant until the uid level rises to the top of oil ll hole (the top of screw thread) and does not overll.
6)Replace and tighten the oil cap.
3.Change engine lubricant oil
Open the oil tank cap and drain the old oil to an approved container.
Return the engine to an upright position and rell with fresh lubricant.
NOTE: Dispose of the old oil according to local regulations.

4.Air lter cleaning
Remove the air lter cover and take out the lter. Wash it clean in warm, soapy water. Ensure that the lter is dry before retting it.
An air lter that has been in use for a long time cannot be cleaned completely. The lter must be replaced with a new one at regular intervals. A damaged air lter must always be replaced. If the machine is used in dusty conditions the air lter should be soaked in oil. The air lter should be cleaned by air or shaking the air lter.
5.Cutting blade cleaning
Clean any resin and plant residue from the blades using cleaning agent before and after using the machine.
Lubricate the blade bars with rust preventive oil before long periods of storage.

To ensure good cutting results it is important that the contact pressure between the blades is correct. The contact pressure is adjusted by turning the screws on the underside of the bar clockwise as far as they will go. Lock the screws using the locking nut on the top of the bar. Check that the screws are loose enough to allow the washers under the screw heads to slide sideways.
5.Check hand guard
The hand guard prevents hands from coming into contact with the moving blades, for example, if the operator loses grip on the front handle.Check that the hand guard is tted correctly and undamaged.
6.Inspect the Spark Plug
Pull out the spark plug cap and clean the dust in the spark plug area.
Screw out the spark plug with the provided socket wrench.Check the ceramic isolation.
Clean the electrodes (metal tip) to refresh the surfaces.
7.Gear maintenance
There is a grease nipple and a plug for lling lubricant on the gear housing. Use a grease gun to ll with grease. This should be done after every 25 working hours.

Short-term Storage (1-2 weeks)
Store the unit in a horizontal position. If not possible, store the unit vertically with the engine at the top.
Long-term Storage
1. Remove the fuel cap, tip the unit and drain the fuel into an approved container. Reinstall the fuel cap.
2. Start the engine and allow it to run until it stalls.
This ensures that all fuel has been drained from the
carburetor.
3. Allow the engine to cool. Remove the spark plug and put 5 drops of any high quality motor oil into the cylinder. Pull the starter rope slowly to distribute the oil. Reinstall the spark plug.
4. Thoroughly clean the unit and inspect it for any loose or damaged parts. Repair or replace damaged parts and tighten loose screws, nuts or bolts.
5. Store the unit in a horizontal position. If horizontal storage is not possible, store unit vertically with engine at top.

MAINTENANCE
Preparing the Unit for Use after Long-term Storage
1. Remove the spark plug. Tip the unit and drain all of the oil from the cylinder into an approved container. Reinstall the spark plug.
2. Change the oil. Refer to Changing the Oil.
NOTE: Do not use fuel that has been stored for more than 30 days.
Dispose of old fuel and oil according to local authorities and local regulations.

WARRANTY
If your device develops a fault, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service department on 0345 605 2070, we can solve 80% of problems via the phone.
1. These warranty terms cover additional warranty rights and do not affect your statutory warranty rights. All our products are covered by a 3 year manufacturer warranty.
2. Claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase. This must be in the form of a sales receipt or bank statement and must show that the product has been purchased within the warranty period as described under point 1, from the retailer that it was originally bought from. Please keep your receipt safe or staple it to the back of this manual for future reference.
3. Our warranty covers problems caused by material or manufacturing defects, and will result in the repair of these defects or replacement of the device with a like for like or similar article.
4. Our devices have not been designed for commercial, trade or industrial applications, any signs of use of the equipment in these application or equivalent activities, invalidates the warranty.
5. The following are also excluded from our warranty:
A. Faults due to accidents, customer misuse or unauthorized repairs B. Consumable Parts such as cutting blade, handles, knobs, and other accessories
that are compatible with the product. C. Failure due to lack of routine maintenance. D. Failure as a result of not using the equipment in accordance with the manual and
safety instructions Warranty claims should be submitted before the end of the warranty period, see point 1,
but a paid service exists for repairs commissioned after this period. The original warranty period remains applicable to the device even if repairs are carried out or parts are replaced. In such cases, the work performed or parts tted will not result in an extension of the warranty period, and no new warranty will become active for the work performed or parts tted.
