DESCRIPTION OF SYMBOLS
Some of the following symbols may be used on your tool. Be sure to study them and learn their meaning. Proper interpretation of these symbols will allow you to use the machine more effectively and reduce the risk of accident.
WARNING! Incorrect or careless use of a hedge trimmer can turn it into a dangerous tool that can cause serious or even fatal injury. It is extremely important that you read and understand the contents of this operator’s manual.
Please read the operator’s manual carefully and make sure you understand the instructions before using the machine.
Always wear: Approved hearing protection and approved eye protection
Conforms to relevant EU directives.
Always wear approved protective gloves. Wear sturdy, non-slip boots or shoes.
Regular cleaning is required.
Noise emission to the environment according to the European Community’s Directive. The machine’s emission is specied in chapter Technical data and on label. Other symbols/decals on the machine refer to special certication requirements for certain markets.
Always use clean, fresh unleaded petrol.
Switch off the engine by moving the stop switch to
STOP
the STOP position before carrying out any checks or maintenance.
Push primer bulb, fully and slowly, 8-10 times.
Refer to operator’s manual for the proper type of oil.
WARNING: Do not touch a hot mufer or cylinder. You may got burned. These parts get extremely hot from operation. When turned off they remain hot for a short time.
Set the choke button in the choke position.

untrained individuals to use this unit.
b). Do not start or operate
the engine in a conned space, building, near open windows or inother unventilated space where dangerous carbon monoxide fumes can collect. Carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless, and extremely
dangerous gas, can cause Unconsciousness or death.
c). Clear the work area
before use. Remove all objects such as rocks, broken glass, nails, wire, or loose string which can be thrown or become
entangled in the cutting line or blade. d). Always wear eye
protection with side
shields marked to comply
with ISO 7010 along with
hearing protection when
operating this equipment. e). Wear heavy, long
trousers, long sleeves,
boots, and gloves. Do not wear loose tting
clothing, short trousers,
sandals, or go barefoot.
Do not wear jewelry of
any kind. Heavy protective clothing may increase operator

fatigue, which could lead to heat stroke. During weather that is hot and humid, heavy work should be scheduled for early morning or late afternoon hours when temperatures are Cooler.
Work area safety

picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your nger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting
key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep
proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not
wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in

the connection of dust
extraction and collection
facilities, ensure these are
connected and properly
used. Use of dust
collection can reduce
dust-related hazards.
Operating safety
This product is equipped with a spark arrestor; however, other user requirements may apply. Check with your local authorities. Never operate this unit on the operator’s left side. Secure long hair above shoulder level to prevent entanglement in moving parts. Keep all bystanders, children, and pets at least 50 ft away Bystanders should be encouraged

SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read these instructions fully before operating or maintaining your machine
to wear eye protection. If you are approached, stop the engineand cutting attachment. In the case of bladed units, there is the added risk of injury to bystanders from being struck with the moving blade in the event of a blade thrust orother unexpected reaction of the saw. Do not operate in poor lighting. Keep rm footing and balance. Do not over reach. Overreaching can result in loss of balance or exposure to hot surfaces. Keep all parts of your body away from any moving part. To avoid hot surfaces, never operate the unit with the bottom of the engine above waist level. Do not touch area around the mufer or cylinder of the unit, these parts get hot
from operation. Contact with hot surfaces could result in possible serious personal injury. Always stop the engine and remove the spark plug wire before making any adjustments or repairs except for carburetor adjustments.
Garden tool use and care
Do not force the garden tool. Use the correct tool for your application. The correct tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed. b) Do not use the tool if the
switch does not turn it
on and off. Any tool that
cannot be controlled with
the switch is dangerous
