Description of symbols
Some of the following symbols may be used on your tool.Be sure to study them and learn their meaning. Proper interpretation of these symbols will allow you to use the machine more effectively and reduce the risk of accident.
Indicates danger, warning or caution.
WARNING – To reduce the risk of injury, user must read instruction manual.
Wear eye and hearing protection. Wear head protection, where there is a risk of falling objects.
Always wear foot protection when using the device.
Wear gloves to protect against shock Clothing must be sturdy and snug-fitting, but allow complete freedom of movement.
Danger of injury from flying parts! Beware of thrown objects. WARNING: Keep all bystanders, especially children and pets,at least 50 feet (15 m) from the operating area.
Always use clean, fresh unleaded fuel.
Refer to operator’s manual for the proper type of oil.
WARNING:Do not touch a hot muffler or cylinder. You may get burned. These parts get extremely hot from operation. When turned off, they remain hot for a short time.
Do not touch the line until it stops completely when replacing new line.
WARNING:To prevent serious injury, do not replace the cutting head with rigid or metal blades.

Work area safety

b)Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c)Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the offposition before starting, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying garden tools with your finger on the switch or energising

d)Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the garden tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the garden tool may result in personal injury.

Operating safety
This product is equipped with a spark arrestor; however, other user requirements may apply. Check with your local authorities.
Never operate this unit on the operator’s left side. Secure long hair above shoulder level to prevent entanglement in moving parts.
Keep all bystanders, children,and pets at least 50 ft away Bystanders should be encouraged to wear eye protection. If
you are approached, stop the engine and cutting attachment. In the case of bladed units, there is the added risk of injury to bystanders from being

SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read these instructions fully before operating or maintaining your machine
struck with the moving blade in the event of
a blade thrust or other unexpected reaction of the saw.
Do not operate in poor lighting.
Keep firm footing and balance. Do not over reach. Over reaching can result in loss of balance or exposure to hot surfaces.
Keep all parts of your body away from any moving part. To avoid hot surfaces, neveroperate the unit with the bottom of the engine above waist level.
Do not touch area around the muffler or cylinder of the unit, these parts get hot from operation. Contact with hot surfaces could result in possible serious personal injury.
Always stop the engine and remove the spark plug wire before making any adjustments or repairs
except for carburetor adjustments.
Garden tool use and care
Do not force the garden tool. Use the correct garden tool for your application. The correct garden tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b)Do not use the garden tool if the switch does not turn it on and off.Any garden tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
c)Stop the garden tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing garden tools.Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the garden tool accidentally.
