models let you tail or frequency response plus or minus 3 dB to suit
your room ’s acoust ics. You won’t f ind yourself wishing for more or les s
sound f rom the left or right s peaker just because you don’t happen to
sit bet ween them.

EQ and independent, pivoting dr iver and twe eter make t he AIM8™
Series tops in user-f riendly perf ormance.
Indepen dently Pivoting Woofe r and Tweeter : The drivers and
tweeters in the AIM 8™ models p ivot independ ently, meaning you can
direct th e low and high frequenci es for a p recise acousti cal fit. It ’s a fea ture
you won ’t find in ord inary speaker s. The AIM8 ™ Series is your assur ance of
proper ph ase, accurate frequency res ponse and e nhanced stereo imaging.
And whe n placed ove rhead at th e rear in a home theate r configurat ion,
they ca n be directed away from t he listener. This gives back ground sound
the cri tical degree of diffusion it needs.
A home theater audi o system ca n boost the excitement and dynamics
of movi es and conce rts. But to make it w ork you nee d channel
separatio n, spatial imaging and dynamic respon se. The AIM 8™ models
let you aim the m idrange drive rs and/or t weeters, mean ing the sou nd
from the front speaker s can come together fo r better “im aging.”
It’s the beau ty of the AIM8™ speaker s that they can do so much while
remaining hidden. Rece ssed behind flush-mount grilles, the y deliver
incredible sound witho ut the need for bulky speaker cabi nets.
It’s a differen t story wit h rear-channel speakers. Mo st movie sou ndtracks
direct ba ckground sound s such as rain, echoes, explosions and distant
events to the rear speakers. Thi s requires cri sp and accu rate sound up
front and diffusion a t the rear of the spac e. The AIM8™ models, wi th
their p ivoting tweet ers and the unique WaveP lane™ baffle, answer
the cal l. While the high-frequenc y sound, be ing directiona l in nature,
bounces off adjacent walls, the WavePlane™ di stributes th e midrange
