Southbend’s versatile Tilting Braising
Pan can be used more often and in more ways than any other type of cooking equipment. One vessel cooking is yours by utilizing the braising pan as a griddle, fry pan, kettle, oven, thawer and bain marie.
Assembly Structure
Each commercial braising pan has a onepiece, coved corner, 10-gauge stainless steel pan with a satin finish exterior and a polished interior.
The braising pan is heated by bar burners. The 5/8" thick stainless steel clad bottom has a polished finish to ensure maximum ease of cleaning. The unit has stainless steel, spring assisted cover, for safe, one handed operation.
The electric tilt assembly is operated by a switch located on the control panel which ensures smooth action and precise control during pouring of pan contents.
NOTE: Tilting may be stopped at any time without kettle settling back.
Cabinet Base
The cabinet base is modular in design to match other Southbend cooking equipment and is equipped with 6" stainless steel legs with hold down feet in rear. Polished stainless steel doors have magnetic latches.
Control System
The electric thermostat ranges from 150°F to 460°F, and the unit is equipped with an Electronic Ignition system for burners
