Southbend’s versatile Tilting Braising
Pan can be used more often and in more
ways than any other type of cooking equipment. One vessel cooking is yours by utilizing the braising pan as a griddle, fry pan,
kettle, oven, thawer and bain marie.
Assembly Structure
Each commercial braising pan has a onepiece, coved corner, 10-gauge stainless
steel pan with a satin finish exterior and a
polished interior.
The braising pan is heated by bar burners.
The 5/8" thick stainless steel clad bottom
has a polished finish to ensure maximum
ease of cleaning. The unit has stainless
steel, spring assisted cover, for safe, one
handed operation.
The electric tilt assembly is operated by a
switch located on the control panel which
ensures smooth action and precise control
during pouring of pan contents.
NOTE: Tilting may be stopped at any time
without kettle settling back.
Cabinet Base
The cabinet base is modular in design to
match other Southbend cooking equipment and is equipped with 6" stainless
steel legs with hold down feet in rear.
Polished stainless steel doors have magnetic latches.
Control System
The electric thermostat ranges from 150°F
to 460°F, and the unit is equipped with an
Electronic Ignition system for burners

Warranty at no extra charge from the date
of purchase.
OPERATION
Natural or LP. gas. Manifold and pilot gas
pressure is 3½" for Natural; 10" for LP. gas.
Incoming gas pressure must not exceed 14"
