Important safeguards

• ATTENTION: The owner’s manual contains important operating and maintenance instructions for your safety, it is necessary to

refer the manual. Protect your device from influence of high temperature, water or other liquids. Do not use the radio receiver in bathrooms, near cookers, the heating equipment and avoid hit of direct solar beams.

Power supply

AC power

• The appliance is for household use only.

• Before the first connecting of the appliance check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds the mains voltage in your

home.

• Connect the AC cord to the unit. Insert the plug into the power supply.

Battery operation

• Open the battery compartment cover.

• Insert 3 batteries (UM-1). Please observe correct battery polarities or the set will not work.

• Close the battery compartment cover.

• When the batteries are exhausted, they should be removed from the set to prevent leakage.

Radio operation

• Turn the POWER switch/ Volume Control down to turn on the radio. Adjust to desired volume, the Power indicator will light on.

• Move the band selector to choose FM/ MW/ SW 1-7 band.

• Rotate the Tuning control regulator to receive the desired broadcast. Watch the dial scale and dial pointer.

• Move the Power switch/ Volume control to the OFF position to turn off the radio.

Tone control

• Tone control function is convenient for selecting different tones when receiving programs.

• During listening to news programs turn the tone control knob clockwise to select low tone.

• During listening to music programs turn it anti-clockwise to select high tone.

Earphones jack

• For private listening please insert the earphones into the Phone jack (the speaker inside the radio disconnects automatically), now

you can listen to the radio by earphones.

Antenna

• The MW antenna is magnetic bar within the system. Rotate the set for the best reception.

• For FM reception, use the telescopic antenna. Pull out the antenna and change its length and angle for the best reception.

• For SW reception pull out the telescopic antenna and keep it vertical to get best reception.

Maintenance and care

• Check your batteries regularly, old or discharged batteries should be replaced. If the unit is not going to be used for some time,

remove the batteries to avoid leakage and damage.

• Electronic products of this kind should never be subjected to moisture or extreme temperatures.

• If necessary, clean the unit with a piece of cloth dampened with water only (be sure the batteries is not inserted to the battery

compartment).
