The Bluetooth™ headset HBH-PV703 can be connected to any device with Bluetooth wireless technology that supports the handsfree or headset profile. This User guide focuses on usage with

a Sony Ericsson mobile phone.

Charging the headset

Before using the HBH-PV703 for the first time, charge it with, for example, the supplied charger or your phone charger, see figure 3. For compatible chargers, see figure 4.

Pairing the headset

Before you can use the headset it has to be paired once with your phone. Upon a successful pairing, the headset will automatically connect to the phone as soon as it is turned on and within range.

To pair the headset with your phone

1.Make sure the headset is turned off.

2.Turn on the Bluetooth function in the phone. For instructions, see the phone User guide.

3.Turn on Bluetooth visibility in the phone. This makes the phone visible to other Bluetooth devices.

4.Place the phone within 20 cm (8 inches) from the headset.

5.Press and hold down the call handling key until the headset beeps, shows a steady green light and then flashes red and green alternately. If the indicator light only flashes green or red, simultaneously press and hold down both volume keys until the headset beeps and flashes green and red alternately.

6.Press Yes when Add device? appears in the phone. If required, the passcode is 0000. The headset beeps and flashes green when successfully paired.

Note: If auto pairing is not supported by your phone, or not successful, follow the first 5 steps above. Then add the headset to your phone as described in the phone User guide. The passcode is 0000.

Putting on the headset

See figure 5. Make sure you twist the speaker round into your ear. For left ear use, change the position of the ear hook as instructed.

Turning on and off the headset

To turn on the headset

•Press and hold down the call handling key until the indicator light shows a steady green light. It will then start flashing green.

To turn off the headset

•Press and hold down the call handling key until the indicator light shows a steady green light. It will then turn off.

Calling

When you have paired the headset with your phone, you can make and receive calls as long as the headset is turned on.

Solid objects, walls and a greater distance than 5 metres (16.5 feet) can affect the sound quality negatively. For best performance, wear the headset and the phone on the same side of your body.

To make a call

•Use the phone keys, and dial the number in the same way as you would normally do. The call is automatically activated in the headset.

To end a call

•Press the call handling key briefly.

To answer a call

•Press the call handling key briefly.

To reject a call

•Press and hold down the call handling key until you hear a short beep (after 2 seconds).

To redial the last number

•Press the call handling key twice within a second.

To turn off the microphone (mute)

•Simultaneously press both volume keys. Repeat to turn on the microphone again.

Adjusting volume

To adjust the ring volume

•When you are not engaged in a call, or while the phone is ringing, press a volume key.

To adjust the speaker volume

•During a call, press a volume key.

Calling using voice commands

Voice commands can be useful when you are using the headset and the phone is not close at hand. For more information on voice commands, see your phone User guide.

To make a call using voice commands

•Press the call handling key briefly, wait for a beep and say your command.

Note: Make sure voice commands are enabled and recorded in your phone before you try to use them.

Transferring sound

To transfer the sound from the phone to the headset

•During a call on the phone, press the call handling key briefly. The sound is transferred to the headset.

To transfer the sound from the headset to the phone

•See the phone User guide.

Resetting the headset

Reset the headset if it behaves unexpectedly.

To reset the headset

1.Simultaneously press and hold down both volume keys until the headset beeps and flashes red and green alternately.

2.Simultaneously press and hold down both volume keys until the headset turns off.

3.Pair the headset with the phone in the same way as you paired it the first time.

Battery

A battery that has been infrequently used, or a new one, could have reduced capacity. It may need to be recharged a number of times.

When the battery needs charging, the indicator light flashes red and you hear a low beep. If you do not charge the headset, it automatically turns off.

To check the battery status

•Simultaneously press both volume keys briefly:

•one green flash – the battery needs charging soon

•two green flashes – the battery is medium full

•three green flashes – the battery is fully charged

Troubleshooting

No connection to the phone

Make sure the headset is charged and within range of the phone. Check or redo the Bluetooth settings in the phone. Try to pair the headset again.

Unexpected behaviour

•Reset the headset.

Redial does not work

If the call list in the phone is empty you cannot use the redial function.

El auricular Bluetooth™ HBH-PV703 puede conectarse a cualquier dispositivo que disponga de tecnología inalámbrica Bluetooth y que admita perfiles de manos libres o de auricular. Esta guía del usuario se centra en la utilización del dispositivo con un teléfono móvil de Sony Ericsson.

Carga del auricular

Antes de utilizar el auricular HBH-PV703 por primera vez, cárguelo, por ejemplo, con el cargador suministrado o con el de su teléfono (véase la ilustración 3). Para cargadores compatibles, véase la ilustración 4.

Enlace del auricular

Antes de utilizar el auricular, debe asociarlo una vez con su teléfono. Una vez asociado correctamente, el auricular se conectará al teléfono de forma automática cada vez que lo encienda y tenga cobertura.

Para asociar el auricular con el teléfono

1.Asegúrese de que el auricular está apagado.

6.Cuando en el teléfono aparezca la pregunta ¿Añadir dispositivo?, pulseSí. Puede que necesite introducir el código de acceso, que es el 0000. El auricular emite un pitido y parpadea en color verde cuando se asocia correctamente.

Nota: Si su teléfono no admite la asociación automática o no consigue asociarlo correctamente, siga los

5 primeros pasos indicados anteriormente.

A continuación, añada el auricular a su teléfono siguiendo las instrucciones de la Guía del usuario del teléfono. El código de acceso es el 0000.

Llamadas

Llamadas mediante comandos de voz

Los comandos de voz pueden resultar muy útiles cuando utiliza un auricular y no tiene el teléfono a mano. Para ampliar información sobre los comandos de voz, consulte la Guía del usuario del teléfono.

Para realizar llamadas mediante comandos de voz

•Pulse brevemente la tecla de gestión de llamadas, espere a que suene un pitido y diga el comando.

Nota: Compruebe que los comandos de voz estén activados y que se hayan grabado en el teléfono antes de intentar utilizarlos.

Transferencia de sonido

Para transferir el sonido del teléfono al auricular

•Mientras habla por el teléfono, pulse brevemente la tecla de gestión de llamadas. El sonido se transfiere al auricular.

Para transferir el sonido del auricular al teléfono

Reinicio del auricular

Si el auricular funciona de forma anómala, reinícielo.

Para reiniciar el auricular

Batería

Una batería que no se ha utilizado con frecuencia o una batería nueva pueden tener reducida la capacidad.

Es posible que deba recargarla varias veces.

Cuando sea necesario cargar la batería, el indicador luminoso parpadeará en rojo y se oirá un leve pitido. Si no carga el auricular, se apagará automáticamente.

Para comprobar el estado de la batería

•Pulse breve y simultáneamente las dos teclas de volumen:

•un parpadeo verde: es necesario cargar pronto la batería.

•dos parpadeos verdes: la batería está medio cargada.

•tres parpadeos verdes: la batería está totalmente cargada.

Resolución de problemas

No hay conexión con el teléfono

Asegúrese de que el manos libres esté cargado y dentro de la cobertura del teléfono. Compruebe o vuelva a configurar los ajustes de Bluetooth en el teléfono. Intente asociar de nuevo el auricular.

Funcionamiento anómalo

•Reinicie el auricular.

La rellamada no funciona

Das Bluetooth™-Headset HBH-PV703 kann an jedes Gerät angeschlossen werden, das mit der Funktechnik Bluetooth ausgestattet ist und das Profil „Handsfree“ oder „Headset“ unterstützt. Diese Bedienungsanleitung konzentriert sich auf die Benutzung des Headsets mit einem Mobiltelefon von Sony Ericsson.

Laden des Headsets

Laden Sie das HBH-PV703, bevor Sie es erstmals benutzen, z. B. mit dem mitgelieferten Ladegerät oder dem Ladegerät Ihres Telefons (siehe Abbildung 3). Abbildung 4 zeigt kompatible Ladegeräte.

			Koppeln des Headsets
			Bevor Sie das Headset benutzen können, muss es
			einmal mit dem Telefon gekoppelt werden. Nach
			dem Koppeln stellt das Headset automatisch die
	Erstes Laden: ca. 8 Stunden		Verbindung zum Telefon her, wenn es eingeschaltet
			wird und sich in Reichweite befindet.
	Normales Laden: ca. 2 Stunden
	Premier chargement : environ 8 heures		So koppeln Sie das Headset mit dem Telefon:

			2.	Schalten Sie die Bluetooth-Funktion im Telefon ein.

			Headset aufsetzen
			Beachten Sie Abbildung 5. Drehen Sie den
			Lautsprecher in die Ohrmuschel. Sie können das
			Headset links tragen, indem Sie die Position des
			Ohrbügels wie gezeigt ändern.

			5 m (16,5 Fuß) können die Klangqualität beeinträchtigen.
			Optimale Resultate erzielen Sie, indem Sie das
			Headset auf derselben Körperseite wie das
			Telefon tragen.
			So tätigen Sie einen Anruf:
			•	Wählen Sie die Nummer wie gewohnt mit den Tasten
				des Telefons. Der Anruf wird automatisch zum
				Headset übertragen.
			So beenden Sie einen Anruf:
			•	Drücken Sie kurz die Anruftaste.
			So nehmen Sie einen Anruf an:
			•	Drücken Sie kurz die Anruftaste.
			So weisen Sie einen Anruf ab:
			•	Drücken und halten Sie die Anruftaste, bis Sie einen
				Signalton hören (nach 2 Sekunden).
			So wiederholen Sie das Wählen der letzten
			Rufnummer:
			•	Drücken Sie die Anruftaste zwei Mal innerhalb
				einer Sekunde.

So schalten Sie das Mikrofon aus:

•Drücken Sie beide Lautstärketasten gleichzeitig. Wiederholen Sie dies, um das Mikrofon wieder einzuschalten.

Einstellen der Lautstärke

So stellen Sie die Ruftonlautstärke ein:

•Drücken Sie eine Lautstärketaste, während Sie nicht telefonieren bzw. das Telefon klingelt.

So stellen Sie die Lautstärke des

Lautsprechers ein:

•Drücken Sie während eines Telefonats eine Lautstärketaste.

Telefonieren mit Sprachbefehlen

Sprachbefehle sind hilfreich, wenn Sie ein Headset benutzen und das Telefon nicht zur Hand haben. Weitere Informationen zu Sprachbefehlen enthält die Bedienungsanleitung des Telefons.

So tätigen Sie Anrufe sprachgesteuert:

•Drücken Sie kurz die Anruftaste, warten Sie auf einen Signalton und sprechen Sie den Befehl.

Hinweis: Sie müssen die Sprachbefehlsfunktion im Telefon aktivieren und Sprachbefehle aufnehmen, damit Sie die Funktion nutzen können.

Übertragen des Tons

So übertragen Sie den Ton vom Telefon zum Headset:

•Drücken Sie während eines mit dem Telefon geführten Anrufs kurz die Anruftaste. Der Ton wird zum Headset übertragen.

So übertragen Sie den Ton vom Headset zum Telefon:

•Beachten Sie die Bedienungsanleitung des Telefons.

Zurücksetzen des Headsets

Setzen Sie das Headset zurück, wenn es sich ungewöhnlich verhält.

So setzen Sie das Headset zurück:

1.Drücken und halten Sie gleichzeitig beide Lautstärketasten, bis das Headset einen Signalton ausgibt und die LED abwechselnd rot und grün blinkt.

2.Drücken und halten Sie gleichzeitig beide Lautstärketasten, bis sich das Headset ausschaltet.

3.Koppeln Sie das Headset wie beim ersten Mal mit dem Telefon.

Akku

Ein nur wenig benutzter Akku oder ein neuer Akku kann eine reduzierte Kapazität aufweisen. Er muss dann mehrmals geund entladen werden.

Wenn der Akku geladen werden muss, blinkt die LED rot und es wird ein tiefer Signalton ausgegeben. Das Headset schaltet sich automatisch aus, wenn Sie es nicht laden.

So prüfen Sie den Akkustatus:

•Drücken Sie gleichzeitig kurz beide Lautstärketasten:

•Ein grünes Blinksignal – Akku muss bald geladen werden

•Zwei grüne Blinksignale – Akku ist halb voll

•Drei grüne Blinksignale – Akku ist voll

Trageschlaufe anbringen

Beachten Sie zum Anbringen einer Trageschlaufe Abbildung 6.

Position des Zulassungsvermerks

Den Zulassungsvermerk finden Sie an der in Abbildung 7 gezeigten Stelle.

Fehlerbeseitigung

Keine Verbindung zum Telefon

Das Headset muss geladen sein und sich in Reichweite des Telefons befinden. Überprüfen oder korrigieren Sie die Bluetooth-Einstellungen im Telefon. Wiederholen Sie das Koppeln des Headsets.

Unerwartetes Verhalten

•Setzen Sie das Headset zurück.

Wahlwiederholung funktioniert nicht

Wenn die Anrufliste im Telefon leer ist, können Sie die Wahlwiederholungsfunktion nicht nutzen.

L’oreillette Bluetooth™ HBH-PV703 peut être reliée à tout périphérique doté de la technologie sans fil Bluetooth prenant en charge le profil Mains libres ou Oreillette. Ce Guide d’utilisation décrit essentiellement l’utilisation de l’oreillette avec un téléphone mobile Sony Ericsson.

Chargement de l’oreillette

Avant d’utiliser le HBH-PV703 pour la première fois, chargez-le à l’aide du chargeur fourni ou du chargeur de votre téléphone, par exemple (voir figure 3). Pour connaître les chargeurs compatibles, voir figure 4.

Jumelage de l’oreillette

Pour pouvoir utiliser l’oreillette, vous devez la jumeler avec votre téléphone. Une fois le jumelage terminé, l’oreillette se connecte automatiquement au téléphone dès sa mise sous tension pour autant qu’il soit

à portée de celle-ci.

Pour jumeler l’oreillette avec votre téléphone

1.Assurez-vous que l’oreillette est hors tension.

2.Activez la fonction Bluetooth sur le téléphone. Pour obtenir des instructions, reportez-vous au Guide d’utilisation du téléphone.

3.Activez la visibilité Bluetooth dans le téléphone. Le téléphone est alors visible par les autres périphériques Bluetooth.

4.Placez le téléphone à 20 cm (8 pouces) maximum de l’oreillette.

5.Maintenez enfoncée la touche de gestion des appels jusqu’à ce que l’oreillette émettre un bip, reste allumée en vert, puis clignote en rouge et vert.

Si l’oreillette ne clignote qu’en vert ou en rouge, maintenez simultanément enfoncées les deux touches de volume jusqu’à ce que l’oreillette émette un bip ou clignote en vert et rouge.

6.Appuyez sur Oui lorsque Ajouter périphérique ? s’affiche dans le téléphone. Le cas échéant, le code d’accès est 0000. Une fois le jumelage réussi, l’oreillette émet un bip et clignote en vert.

Remarque : Si votre téléphone ne prend pas en charge le jumelage automatique, ou s’il n’aboutit pas, exécutez les 5 premières étapes ci-dessus. Ensuite, ajoutez l’oreillette à votre téléphone de la manière décrite dans le Guide d’utilisation du téléphone. Le code d’accès est 0000.

Port de l’oreillette

Voir figure 5. Veillez à faire pivoter l’oreillette dans l’oreille. Si vous l’utilisez dans l’oreille gauche, modifiez la position du contour d’oreille de la manière indiquée.

Pour mettre l’oreillette sous tension

•Maintenez enfoncée la touche de gestion des appels jusqu’à ce que le voyant s’allume en vert continu. Ensuite, il commence à clignoter en vert.

Pour mettre l’oreillette hors tension

•Maintenez enfoncée la touche de gestion des appels jusqu’à ce que le voyant s’allume en vert continu. Ensuite, il s’éteint.

Appel

Lorsque vous avez jumelé l’oreillette avec votre téléphone, vous pouvez émettre et recevoir des appels aussi longtemps qu’elle est sous tension.

Les objets solides, les murs et l’éloignement de plus de 5 m (16,5 pieds) peuvent nuire à la qualité du son. Pour des performances optimales, portez l’oreillette du même côté du corps que le téléphone.

Pour émettre un appel

•Utilisez les touches du téléphone et composez le numéro de la manière habituelle. L’appel est automatiquement activé dans l’oreillette.

Pour mettre fin à un appel

•Appuyez brièvement sur la touche de gestion des appels.

Pour répondre à un appel

•Appuyez brièvement sur la touche de gestion des appels.

Pour rejeter un appel

•Maintenez enfoncée la touche de gestion des appels jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un bip court (après 2 secondes).

Pour recomposer le dernier numéro appelé

•Appuyez sur la touche de gestion des appels deux fois en une seconde.

Pour désactiver le micro

•Appuyez sur les deux touches de réglage du volume simultanément. Répétez l’opération pour réactiver le micro.

Réglage du volume

Pour régler le volume de la sonnerie

•Lorsque aucun appel n’est en cours ou lorsque le téléphone sonne, appuyez sur une touche de réglage du volume.

Pour régler le volume du haut-parleur

•Pendant un appel, appuyez sur une touche de réglage du volume.

Appel à l’aide des commandes vocales

Les commandes vocales peuvent s’avérer utiles lorsque vous utilisez l’oreillette et que le téléphone ne se trouve pas à portée de main. Pour plus d’informations sur les commandes vocales, reportezvous au Guide d’utilisation de votre téléphone.

Pour émettre un appel à l’aide des commandes vocales

•Appuyez brièvement sur la touche de gestion des appels, attendez le bip et prononcez votre commande.

Remarque : Assurez-vous que les commandes vocales sont activées et enregistrées dans le téléphone avant d’essayer de les utiliser.

Transfert du son

Pour transférer le son du téléphone à l’oreillette

•Pendant un appel sur votre téléphone, appuyez brièvement sur la touche de gestion des appels. Le son est transféré vers l’oreillette.

Pour transférer le son de l’oreillette au téléphone

•Reportez-vous au Guide d’utilisation de téléphone.

Réinitialisation de l’oreillette

Réinitialisez l’oreillette si elle a un comportement inattendu.

Pour réinitialiser l’oreillette

1.Maintenez simultanément enfoncées les deux touches de volume jusqu’à ce que l’oreillette émette un bip ou clignote en vert et rouge.

2.Maintenez simultanément enfoncées les deux touches de volume jusqu’à ce que l’oreillette se mette hors tension.

3.Jumelez l’oreillette avec le téléphone de la même manière que lors du jumelage initial.

Batterie

Une batterie neuve ou qui n’a pas été utilisée régulièrement peut présenter une capacité réduite.

Il se peut que vous deviez la recharger plusieurs fois. Lorsque la batterie doit être rechargée, le voyant clignote en rouge et un faible bip retentit. Si vous ne

rechargez pas l’oreillette, elle se met automatiquement hors tension.

Pour vérifier l’état de la batterie

•Appuyez brièvement sur les deux touches de réglage du volume simultanément :

•un clignotement vert indique que la batterie doit être rapidement rechargée ;

•deux clignotements verts indiquent que la batterie est à moitié chargée ;

•trois clignotements verts indiquent que la batterie est complètement chargée.

Dépannage

Aucune connexion au téléphone

Assurez-vous que l’oreillette est chargée et à portée du téléphone. Vérifiez ou réglez de nouveau les paramètres Bluetooth du téléphone. Essayez de nouveau de jumeler l’oreillette.

Comportement inattendu

•Réinitialisez l’oreillette.

Echec de la recomposition

Si la liste d’appels du téléphone est vide, vous ne pouvez pas utiliser la fonction de recomposition.
