What is Bluetooth™ and how can I use it?
Bluetooth™ wireless technology is a short range radio that makes it possible to transmit signals over short
distances between mobile phones, computers and other devices, like portable handsfree. Bluetooth™ is a way for
different devices to communicate and synchronize with each other, instead of using cables. You can for example:
• Have a conversation using a cordless Bluetooth™ headset.
• Automatically synchronize information in your phone and your PC.
• Exchange business cards, calendar items and pictures between other Bluetooth™ devices.
• Play games.
Before you start using Bluetooth™
Make sure that the Bluetooth™ devices are within range, not more than 10 meters. If you have a phone with Bluetooth™ and
you want use it together with another Bluetooth™ device, you first need to pair the phone with
the device. Pairing is the process of associating the devices with each other so they can “identify” each other, and connect
when they are within range of each other. A wide range of Bluetooth™ devices are available, for example Headsets, Portable
Handsfree, MP3 Players and more are yet to come.
More information regarding Bluetooth™ settings, please see the User's Guide for your device.
