TABLE OF CONTENTS
Each time the power is turned on, the security must be released
before the set can be operated.
Method of Releasing the Security of the XR-5W497RB
1. Turn on the power from the power cord.
2. Wait until the LCD display changes from “SAFE” to “1000”.
3. Input “1234” with the preset buttons on the set.
Input method:
Push the preset button 1 once, button 2 twice, button 3 three
times, and button 4 four times.
4. Press and hold down the ‚ or · button for two seconds.
Note : If an attempt to release the security by this method fails
twice, the system is locked.
In this case, allow the set to be activ ated for about one hour ,
then turn off the power and perform the follo wing steps again.
