Sony’s Proprietary WEGA Engine™ System consists of 3 key technologies engineered and designed by Sony.
1- Direct Digital Circuitry The first step in the digital processing system, Direct Digital circuitry, which increas-
es signal to noise ratio when converting the signal from analog to digital.
2- Digital Reality Creation™ MultiFunction Circuitry Gives viewers control over the level of DRC™ circuitry
depending on quality of input signal, thereby displaying clear, stable images, no matter what the video
source/
3- MID™ X (Multi Driver Image) Maintains the integrity of a converted signal by minimizing image loss in the
scaling process, providing unique Flexible Twin-View™ picture and picture features.
CineMotion™ Reverse 3-2 Pull Down Technology Is a fixed algorithm irrespective of source which preserves the
integrity of movie film frames to create the best possible image.
Digital Component Processor makes the necessary adjustments to improve overall contrast and sharpness. It calculates these improvements by analyzing the signal and parameter of the plasma panel.
Sony’s Proprietary LSI Panel Driver for LCD newly developed LSI improves fast-action, motion picture quality.
DVI-HDTV Interface (Digital Visual Interface) The DVI-HDTV Interface has been added for the latest generation
in high definition television connectivity. a single wire delivers a full digital, uncompressed HD signal that can be
received from any DVI set top box.
