Sony’s new Video Backpack is ready to shoot, capture and edit on the go.

Introducing the first customized and complete Video Backpack from Sony. This affordable kit is fully outfitted
and ready to shoot, capture and edit on the go. Inside this package are tools for capturing high-quality
video, audio, editing, lighting, and even teleprompting. The pack includes the HXR-NX30U HD camcorder;
wireless UWP-V1 mic system, F-112 handheld mic, and MDR-7506 pro headphones; tripod; LED video light;
Sony’s latest Xperia™ tablet for playing back clips or teleprompting; the latest Vegas™ Pro editing software;
and a Sony VAIO® laptop (available only in model # VJBK-1TVV).

But Sony didn’t stop there: there’s also every accessory, including cables, batteries, cleaning kits, and
memory cards, needed to help make video magic, and a “Getting Started” video detailing how to get the
most out of each component. Plus a live chat each weekday from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to answer any
questions that may come up.

The Video Backpack is a mobile production package that allows shooting right out of the box, with everything
packed and ready for whatever assignment comes along. It’s a self-contained videopack that provides everything
necessary for professional shooting, lighting and editing.

Video

The centerpiece of the pack is the HXR-NX30U compact professional camcorder. This is a high quality,
small format, full HD video camera with a full professional audio interface capability. The NX30U utilizes
breakthrough Balanced Optical SteadyShot® image stabilization technology to help eliminate camera
shake and offers other convenient features such as a built-in projector, all combined in our smallest, lightest
handheld professional camcorder.

Professional Audio

Sony’s easy-to-use UWP-V1 full wireless microphone system provides a body pack lavaliere microphone,
which sends exceptionally high-quality audio for distances up to a few hundred feet away, and will
even scan automatically for the best available wireless frequency. Also included are an F-112 handheld
microphone for wired or wireless configuration and a pair of MDR-7506 pro headphones for critical listening
of audio sources.

Tablet

The latest Xperia™ tablet PC, for playback of clips or teleprompting, can also be used for watching the
completed videos.

Software

Included in both packages is Sony Creative Software’s latest version of Vegas™ Pro Software. Vegas Pro is
perfect for editing the clips just captured, and for adding that finished look to video creations.

Tripod
Essential for keeping the camera steady and making smooth pans and tilts, this tripod also has a remote
control built in for capturing smooth zoom shots.

Lighting

The “on-camera” LED video light included is dimmable and can be set to match both indoor and outdoor
lighting conditions, while staying cool to the touch. It uses the same rechargeable batteries that the camera
uses or AA batteries.

Accessories

Cables, batteries, charger, lens cleaning kit, additional memory card, and other necessary items are all
included.

Backpack
Designed for maximum protection, the lightweight backpack includes a rain cover and work mat where
gear can be laid out.

VAIO Laptop

Perfect for editing clips, this VAIO® laptop, which is standard with the VJBK-1TVV package, comes equipped
with Sony Creative Software’s Vegas Pro Software. DVD and Blu-ray Disc® media may also be burned and
prepared for uploading to the web.
