Quick Start Guide
Changing a track
To change a track, turn the upper wheel* about 45° while music is playing. To change a group, turn it about 90°.
Adjusting the volume
To turn up the volume, turn the lower wheel* to the right while music is playing. To turn down the volume, turn it to the left.
When you hold Rolly in the vertical position with

either end at the top, the wheel at the top or bottom is automatically assigned to each function.

Rolly is pre-installed with sample music and motion data,
so that you can try it out right after charging the battery.
Charge the battery Power on
To charge the battery, insert the battery into Rolly, and connect Rolly to your computer using the USB cable. When Rolly’s Play-button indicator turns from orange to yellow, charging is completed. (When you charge the battery using a Rolly Charging Cradle (not supplied), the Play-button indicator goes out when charging is completed.)
When Rolly is placed on a level surface
Perform motion playback on a spacious level surface.
Place Rolly with the SONY logo facing you.
To play music: Click the Play button. To play music and motion: Double-click the Play button while
music is playing. When playback of a track is finished, motion stops. Only music will be played from the next track.
To stop playback, click the Play button once.

The indicator surrounding the Play button changes color to indicate the status of Rolly during playback.
White: While playing a track with motion assigned Green: While playing a track without motion assigned Orange: The remaining battery is not enough to play motion.

You can change a track while only music is playing. You cannot change a track during motion playback.
To change a track, push the wheel forward or backward a short distance while music is playing.
To change a group, push the wheel forward or backward further while music is playing.

Adjusting the volume
To turn up the volume, rotate Rolly clockwise while music is playing. To turn down the volume, rotate Rolly counterclockwise while music is playing.
To turn down the volume
You can adjust the volume while only music is playing. You cannot adjust the volume during motion playback.
