Sony SAL-35F18 BROCHURE

SAL35F18
Large F1.8 maximum aperture
In combination with the in-body image stabilization provided by α series cameras, the bright F1.8 maximum aperture of this lens oers a signicant advantage for hand-held shooting in lowlight situations. The high resolution of this prime lens and the smooth defocusing achieved by its large F1.8 aperture can be utilized to create images that have impressive depth and threedimensionality
SAM (Smooth Autofocus Motor)
Autofocus signals received from the camera body control a motor built into the lens. The internal motor directly drives the focusing group for smooth autofocus operation.
Uncompromised basic features
At 0.23 meters the minimum focusing the SAL35F18 makes it possible to move in for spectacular close-ups. The front lter mount does not rotate when the lens focuses, and this is a distinct advantage for polarizing lter use. A distance scale is also provided.
